Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture – MoMA Benefit: A Tribute to Tilda Swinton

Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture - The Museum Of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit A Tribute To Tilda Swinton

Anna Wintour joined Jessica Biel and Lupita Nyong’o at the Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit which paid tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City yesterday evening.

The editor-in-chief of American Vogue wore a Chanel Fall 2013 Couture frock which has been Anna-ified from the runway version, as we’ve come to expect.

Anna’s frock maintains the colourful floral print and high neckline, but loses the bolero and drop-waist feature in favour of a more streamline pencil skirt.

With such a high neckline and colourful print she decided to do away with her signature beaded necklace, plus she opted not to wear her favoured nude patent-leather Manolo Blahnik kitten heels, swapping them for a strappy nude satin sandal.

One small step for a man, a giant leap for mankind.

You may remember that just last week Diane Kruger wore the strapless version of this frock.

Anna Wintour In Proenza Schouler – Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Dinner

Anna Wintour In Proenza Schouler - Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Dinner

Anna Wintour co-hosted both the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event and dinner party held at Bouchon in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening with Lena Dunham.

The editor-in-chief of American Vogue had a rare night off from wearing her beloved Prada for this Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 look, which is an Anna-fied version featuring the same cream pleated skirt with black-and-silver foil print which Rooney Mara wore last week.

Your gripes with the other Anna (Dello Russo) is that she always dresses age inappropriately; even though we moan that Anna (Wintour) always accessorizes with the same Manolo Blahnik kitten heels and beaded necklace, at least she’s not turning up to a dinner party with her midriff showing, as Anna (Dello Russo) would.

Adding to her usual roster of accessories was a rare sighting of a clutch.

God’s Love We Deliver 2013 Golden Heart Awards

God's Love We Deliver 2013 Golden Heart Awards

The God’s Love We Deliver 2013 Golden Heart Awards Celebration was held at Spring Studios in New York City, where the majority of the guests wore Michael Kors.

Hilary Swank: The actress, who is always on hand to support Michael Kors, wore a bright-pink Michael Kors embroidered lace dress styled with silver-python sandals and a silver clutch from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, complemented with silver jewels.

Jennifer Hudson: While her black Michael Kors Resort 2014 gown certainly added glamour to the event, I can’t say I am a fan of the suntan lace inserts. I would’ve preferred cut-outs to the lace. Her hair and makeup are perfect, however.

Julianna Margulies: The actress went left when everyone else went right, opting for a sleek white tuxedo with black trims from the Resort 2014 collection styled with black Michael Kors sandals, dazzling chandelier earrings and a chic topknot. She was by far my favourite at this event.

2013 Couture Council Artistry of Fashion Award Luncheon honoring Michael Kors

2013 Couture Council Fashion Visionary Awards

The 2013 Couture Council Artistry of Fashion Award luncheon, hosted by The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology and honoring Michael Kors, brought out a stylish bunch of Michael Kors-clad event-goers to the David H. Koch Theater at New York City’s Lincoln Center on Wednesday.

Hilary Swank: The actress stood out in a flashy, aqua leopard-print fit-and-flare dress and black python sandals, both from the Michael Kors Resort 2014 collection. A black elongated, reptilian-like clutch from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection completed the animal instinct.

Michael Kors: Surrounded by some of his leading fashion ladies, the designer was casual-cool in a basic, all-black look, with a blazer, T-shirt and trousers. His signature shades were present and accounted for, naturally.

Anna Wintour: The ‘Vogue’ editrix kept up chic appearances and paid homage to the guest of honor in a custom Michael Kors micro-print frock, styled with sunnies and her favourite Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Anna Wintour In Lanvin – Moet & Chandon’s 270th Anniversary Party

Anna Wintour In Lanvin - Moet & Chandon's 270th Anniversary Party

Anna Wintour indulged in her second passion – tennis – while attending Moet & Chandon’s 270th anniversary party, which also served as the unveiling of Roger Federer as their new global brand ambassador, held at Chelsea Piers Sports Center in New York City.

The Vogue editor-in-chief wore a Lanvin Fall 2013 fuchsia sleeveless (of course) dress with black rose appliqués and a swishy skirt, which was styled with all her usual accessories.

Beaded necklace – check. Manolo Blahnik kitten heels – check.

Having given us a rare sighting of a clutch on her last red carpet appearance, it was back to being hands free on this occasion.

Roger Federer provided the arm candy.

Does anyone else hear Whiteshake’s or Bob Marley’s “Is This Love?” when looking at the final picture below?

You can buy Anna’s Lanvin dress from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Andre Leon Talley: Dressed in a gold cape, he almost overshadows Anna.

Jesse Williams: The actor looked very handsome in a classic black suit with satin lapels styled with a white dress shirt and a standout plum-and-white bow tie. Those blue eyes are so dreamy.
