Anna Kendrick In Temperley London - Breakthrough Prize Inaugural Ceremony

Anna Kendrick attended the Breakthrough Prize Inaugural Ceremony held at Nasa Ames Research Center on Thursday (December 12) in Mountain View, California.

She looked sensational wearing a Temperley London Fall 2013 black crepe-and-tulle gown in a simple silhouette with a central pleat adding elegant volume.

The focal point of this dress is the exquisitely embellished tulle neck piece that is covered in gradually more dense crystals and glass beads, until it becomes encrusted at the neck in a dazzling display of workmanship.

A glimpse of skin beneath gives it an ethereal feel despite the opulent beadwork while the v back detail is flattering.

On this occasion her Rauwolf clutch was the perfect choice for this look with EF Collection pave diamond onyx stud earrings complementing the stunning neckline.

A sweeping updo and nude glossy lip completed her look.

This is one of my favourite looks from Anna as I don’t have a feeling of déjà vu on this occasion.

Anna Kendrick In Elie Saab - 36th Kennedy Center Honors Gala

Anna Kendrick attended the 36th Kennedy Center Honors Gala held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. on Sunday evening.

The actress turned to one of her favourite designers Elie Saab, who created this gorgeous sleeveless gown with sheer lace panels to give the look a flirty flourish, with a nude underlay ensuring no underwear reveals.

She styled her Pre-Fall 2013 look with a brown Rauwolf clutch, which I don’t think complements her dress on this occasion. The blocks of colour feel weighty against her gown.

Working a half-up, half-down style of bouncy cascading curls, she complemented her gown with a glossy tangerine lip.

Anna Kendrick In Alberta Ferretti - 'Drinking Buddies' London Film Festival Premiere

Anna Kendrick attended a screening of ‘Drinking Buddies’ held during the 57th BFI London Film Festival at the Odeon West End in London this evening.

The actress wore a floral Alberta Ferretti Spring 2014 two-piece featuring a crop top with chiffon overlay and an A-line skirt with a tri-colour metallic waist band.

My first reaction was, something’s off.

While on the one hand I want to scream “Hallelujah” this isn’t blush, nude or one of Anna’s more expected looks; on the other, the accessories could’ve celebrated the vibrant floral prints a bit more.

I am not on the fence about her makeup, as both are styled beautifully.

Yay or nay?

Anna Kendrick Front Row at LFW

Anna Kendrick has been frequenting the London Fashion Week scene over the weekend, sporting a host of eclectic looks—from sweety to sultry.

Julien Macdonald: Flaunting the fringe, the actress turned vamp-star in an embellished black mesh, body-con dress and pointy ankle-strap heels. Her no-makeup look and casual centre-parted strands needed a bigger boost to stand up to this statement.

Temperley London: At The Savoy Hotel, Anna channeled her inner flower-girl in an embroidered tea frock. The beige colour fell a bit flat, though, whilst a large Me Char ‘Edith’ clutch and heavy black platforms really weighed down the more diaphanous effect of the sheer lined dress.

Vivienne Westwood Red Label: She took the label into consideration when selecting her look that could only be described as schoolgirl-punk. It was classic Vivienne with a boldly coloured purple-and-yellow plaid pencil skirt matched with a sheer, white blouse and an eggplant, exaggerated-lapel leather jacket. Here, we also had another appearance from the never-ending white pumps and a slightly rebellious, messy low ponytail.

Anna Kendrick In Temperley London - Dizzy Feet Foundation's Celebration Of Dance

Anna Kendrick attended the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Third ‘Celebration of Dance’ Gala at The Music Center in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday evening.

The actress selected an ivory Temperley London Fall 2013 shift dress with a decorative gold-and-emerald neckline and bee-shaped gold detailing throughout.

Her accessories were perfectly complementary with ivory Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, a gold Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch and yellow-gold Jamie Wolf scallop edge ‘Marquis’ earrings providing the Midas touch.

A part twisted updo, kohl-rimmed eyes and glossy lips completed her pretty, feminine look.

See by Chloé Resort 2014 Presentation

The Resort 2014 presentations are turning into a red carpet affair; this time we had See by Chloe showcasing their wares at Industria Studios in New York City on Wednesday evening, which also doubled up as the launch of the brand’s new fragrance.

Anna Kendrick: The actress sported a new honey-coloured ‘do and looked a bit more lively for this event, wearing a simple white tank with a layered chiffon skirt styled with Chloe wedges – which have become a favourite with Victoria Beckham – and a blush-coloured Chloe ‘Sally’ clutch with gold trims. Is her new hair colour washing her out?

Nichole Galicia: The ‘Django Unchained’ actress wore a simple navy See by Chloe dress, which was accessorized with Chloe pieces including an ivory belt, two-tone Chloe ‘Grove’ wedges and a small Chloe ‘Alice’ bag in a salmon-and-tan colourway, which continues to be a big hit with celebrities.

Olivia Palermo: The socialite is getting a good wear out of her Rebecca Minkoff jacket, which we saw her wearing earlier this week. She styled her can’t-live-without blazer with a pale-yellow top and printed skirt, accessorizing with Christian Louboutin ‘Zigouwi’ sandals and a Chloe ‘Alice’ bag in a Fall-like berry hue.

Here we have three very different looks; which best suits your style?

Mine is a mix of Olivia and Nichole.

Summer Party On The Highline, Presented By Coach

Last night, a bevy of ‘it-list’ beauties gathered for a carnival-themed Summer Party, presented by Coach, on New York City’s High Line. Here, some of the looks that weren’t all as light and luscious as I was anticipating.

Katie Holmes: The actress-cum-designer kept it cool in a white one-shoulder Chloé Resort 2013 dress, accented with a mauve Coach ‘Madison’ gathered twist clutch, brown Azzedine Alaïa gladiator sandals and black-lacquered nails. The silhouette could have been more flattering, as I don’t love what the gathered dropped waist is doing to her figure at this angle.

Naomi Watts: Pretty in light pink, Naomi wore a loose, button-down See by Chloé shirtdress with white Bruno Magli sandals. Her metallic-accented, leopard-print sunnies added some of the pop I was originally seeking. A Coach Poppy Mirror metallic flight bag completed her look.

Connie Britton: The ‘Nashville’ star stood out in a breezy, aqua-blue high-low dress, grounded with a pair of chocolate-brown platform sandals. She definitely wins the best hair award of the group, as it’s hard to argue with her effortless auburn waves.

Anna Kendrick: Seemingly neither ready for summer or for a festive party, the actress took a darker approach, which looked hot—literally. Black on top of black came with her skinny jeans, a leather vest, and a sheer, geometrically printed Joe’s blouse. She carried a chain-strap Coach Legacy flight bag . My feet hurt just a little seeing those heels at an event like this.
