Get The Look: Anna Faris’ ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Smokey Emerald Eyes

"Guardians Of The Galaxy" - Los Angeles PremiereCelebrity makeup artist Lottie worked with Anna Faris to create her look for the ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ LA premiere.

As suspected, Lottie was inspired by the green jewels on Anna’s Paule Ka dress to create her smoky emerald eye.
Here’s how to get the look:

Eyes: The eyes were created by first applying YSL Long Wear Cream Liner in Jade Black all over the eyelid and on the inner water line. Then Lottie added Tom Ford Emerald Lust Shadow blended up to the crease and finished with Lorac Cobra Mascara in Black. She then used Tom Ford Taupe Brow Sculptor to define Anna’s brows.

Skin: Lottie used Tata Harper Rebuilding Moisturizer and Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation.

Cheeks: Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate was used for contouring along with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light.

Lips: The look was finished off with Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Madeira.

Anna Faris In Paule Ka – ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ LA Premiere

Anna Faris In Paule Ka - 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' LA Premiere

Anna Faris joined hubby Chris Pratt on the red carpet for the LA Premiere of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ held at the El Capitan Theatre on Monday (July 21) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a pretty Paule Ka Spring 2014 white strapless dress with a wrap-tie skirt and folded bodice accented with colourful embellishments.

Opting for all-white accessories, those Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals made yet another appearance on the red carpet, plus she added an Edie Parker ‘Minnie’ clutch.

For such a fresh, crisp look, she went in the opposite direction for her makeup, opting for dark-green eye shadow and heavy kohl-rimmed eyes. In the close up you can see that her makeup artist considered the emerald gems in the bodice when deciding upon giving her this look.

When it came to her jewels she sparkled, opting for Dana Rebecca Designs ‘Anna Beth’ earrings and a Graziela Gems ‘Alexa’ ring.

Sweeping bangs and a knotted bun completed her plus-one red carpet look.

Anna Faris In Tanya Taylor – ‘The Lego Movie’ LA Premiere

Anna Faris In Tanya Taylor - 'The Lego Movie' LA Premiere

Anna Faris joined Brie Larson, Elizabeth Banks and Alison Brie on the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘The Lego Movie’ held at the Regency Village Theatre on Saturday (February 1) in Westwood, California.

The actress wore a gingham Tanya Taylor Fall 2013 black-strap crop top and skirt, which are both embellished with crystals.

Just the simple removal of the burgundy turtleneck took this from a Fall 2013 ensemble to a flirty look perfect for a sunny-afternoon movie premiere.

Black Kurt Geiger ‘Anja’ pumps and a simple ponytail completed her look.

I don’t like the shoes with either look, but I prefer this ensemble as presented by Anna on the red carpet.

Anna Faris In Fitriani – 2014 Grammy Awards

AnnaFarisInFitriani2014GrammyAwards

Anna Faris looked radiant on the red carpet at Sunday’s (January 26) 2014 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The comedian and ‘Mom’ star wore a deep blue gown by Fitriani. And the hue of the dress looked stunning against Anna’s porcelain skin.

The ever so subtle sweetheart neckline was a soft start to the silhouette which ended beautifully with a slight mermaid hemline and train for added drama. Of course, my favourite detail of the gown was the pocket-like detail on the hips, which put the focus on Anna’s small waist.

The actress added to the gown with oversized blue chandelier earrings by Sutra, which popped against her straight and simple locks.

Anna Faris In Naeem Khan – 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Anna Faris In Naeem Khan - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Anna Faris sparkled her way down the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actress and presenter wore a beaded Naeem Khan Spring 2014 pantsuit that absolutely shined.

She paired the ensemble with Jimmy Choo ‘New Gael’ platform sandals and simple EF Collection jewelry.

I couldn’t like this look any more on Anna. The fact that she went for pants in the sea of dresses, and the monochrome and the shimmer–it’s just beautiful, classy and unique.

Her simple ponytail and subtle makeup were also perfectly suited with the simply yet elegant style of the suit.

Of course I do wish that she had hemmed the pants–after all she did have the top lined–but overall, a gorgeous look.

Are you as smitten as I am by Anna’s look?

Who Wore Giulietta Better…Debby Ryan or Anna Faris?

Who Wore Giulietta Better Debby Ryan or Anna Faris

Debby Ryan wore a robin’s egg blue Giulietta Spring 2013 dress to the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of ‘The Way, Way Back’ in June.

Anna Faris wore a simplified version to People’s ‘Ones To Watch’ party in October. She styled the look with snooze-worthy pumps and a black clutch.

I wasn’t in love with Debby’s clutch choice, but her matching Giulietta wedges win the look for me.

‘Delivery Man’ LA Premiere

'Delivery Man' LA Premiere

The ‘Delivery Man’ LA premiere took place at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday evening.

Cobie Smulders: The actress wore a Temperley London Spring 2014 mini embellished dress with a simple, modern silhouette styled with black platform sandals, EF Collection and Graziela Gems.

Anna Faris: While the pose is sweet and endearing, Anna’s black lace ultra-femme Dolce & Gabbana revealing dress tells a very different story.

Molly Sims: Well, some of the pieces are not bad. I would happily wear that leather jacket and the leopard print dress, but the styling gives the overall look a mumsy feel. We all know that Molly is much hotter than this suggests.
