'WORLD WAR Z' Germany Premiere

Even with the competition of several princesses this weekend following Princess Madeleine of Sweden’s Royal wedding, Angelina Jolie still came out on top as the best dressed this week.

The actress, known for her love of wearing all black, surprised us wearing a white Ralph & Russo strapless dress with a sculptural peplum to the ‘World War Z’ Berlin premiere.

Some said we only loved it because Angelina Jolie wasn’t wearing black; I would beg to differ, saying that the tailoring of her dress and impeccable styling are what won me over.

Angelina Jolie In Ralph & Russo - 'World War Z' Berlin Premiere

I’m covered in goosebumps. That is how good Angelina Jolie looked at the Berlin premiere for ‘World War Z’ this evening which was held at the Sony Centre in Germany.

The actress, who has only worn black so far during Brad Pitt’s promo tour, wore a stunning white custom made Ralph & Russo strapless silk crepe peplum dress with intricate buttons cascading down the back and rose-gold detailing.

It’s both the sculptural peplum and rose-gold detailing which sets this apart from any LWD.

This is why she gives us moments of brilliance in small doses. I don’t think my heart could cope with such beauty on a regular bases.

It will take a lot to knock this out of my top 5 for BDOTY. It’s that good

Angelina Jolie In Saint Laurent - 'World War Z' Paris Premiere

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were back on the red carpet this evening for the Paris premiere for ‘World War Z’.

Two things remained the same from the London premiere; the designer and the colour, of course.

Angelina donned a black Saint Laurent masculine wool sable suit which she styled with a feminine black silk mousseline blouse with a necktie detail.

She carries the suit off very well and I love how she’s giving plenty of us attitude with this look. Now only if she should get Brad to wear a suit on this promo tour.

Saint Laurent black pumps and Vermeil jewellery accessorized her look.

Beauty-wise, she opted for a simple ponytail and clear glossy lips on this occasion.

Best Dressed Of The Week - Angelina Jolie In Saint Laurent & Florence Welch In Gucci

Angelina Jolie in Saint Laurent was your best dressed this week.

While some might say this was a sympathy vote, I would strongly disagree, saying that while this is yet another black dress from Ange, it was a sexy, statement-making look and one of her finest all-black looks to date.

I opted for Florence Welch in Gucci. Yes, the look might feel a tad familiar; however, I was captivated by the colour, her stage presence and the billowing effect of the cape, plus she was by far the best dressed at the ‘Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live’ Concert.

Check back later this evening for live coverage of the CFDA Fashion Awards 2013.

Angelina Jolie In Saint Laurent - World War Z World Premiere

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took to the red carpet this evening in London’s Leicester Square for the world premiere of ‘World War Z’, a film which Brad not only stars in, but he also produced.

The handsome couple both wore black, but all eyes were on Angelina who made her first public appearance since announcing last month that she underwent a preventative double mastectomy.

Sticking to her signature black, the actress wore a modest black gown with a sheer panelled fitted bodice, open back and free flowing skirt.

As always, she opted for barely there makeup and two gold bracelets on each wrist.

Considering her recent trying times, one must appreciate her efforts to work such a glamorous look on this occasion.
