Angela Bassett In Romona Keveza – 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Angela Bassett glided down the red carpet on day 2 of the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 10) LA.

The actress who celebrated her 59th birthday last month – I kid you not – wore a red mermaid gown featuring an architectural one-shoulder neckline from the Romona Keveža Spring 2017 collection; which only served to enhance her radiant beauty.

She doesn’t get older, she just gets better.

I’m stunned. Left in absolute awe and in desperate need to figure out her diet, beauty and fitness regime so I can follow it to the letter.

Cesare Paciotti heels and a white – slightly distracting – clutch completed her BDOTW worthy look.

73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards Nominations Announcement

73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards Nominations Announcement

America Ferrera, Angela Bassett and Chloe Grace Moretz were on hand to announce the nominations for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Thursday (December 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

America Ferrera: The gorgeous actress wore a pretty cap-sleeve black INGIE Paris delightfully rendered in floral sequin detailing. I love how the satin bow adds a sweet, feminine flourish to this Parisian look. Kurt Geiger London ‘Britton’ pumps provided the finishing touch.

Angela Bassett: I was totally blown away by Angela’s all red look. From the bold hue, to the exquisite tailoring. This look should take pride of place in her hall of fame.

Chloe Grace Mortez: The young actress wore a Valentino Resort 2016 patchwork dress featuring sheer lace elements which she complemented with lace pumps. While this is a great Fall look, I was perplexed as to why she opted to wear yellow underwear with this look.

amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles Red Carpet Roundup

amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles held at Milk Studios on Thursday (October 29) in Hollywood, California.

Chloe Sevigny: The hippie vibe of this Gucci Spring 2016 polka dot dress was the perfect fit for Chloe’s style. Gucci glitter pink sandals and a Gucci burgundy plexi clutch completed her look.

Sarah Hyland: The actress dazzled not only because of her Jenny Packham blush-pink gown, but also thanks to her Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I’m not always the biggest fan of dark lips with a light-hued gown, but Sarah is selling the look from head-to-toe here.

Emma Roberts: A painterly floral print enriches the classic silhouette of Emma’s Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 frock. While some might find the Kotur feathered clutch overkill, I think adds a spark of personality.

Angela Bassett In Xcite Xtreme – 2015 NAACP Image Awards

Angela Bassett In Xcite Xtreme - 2015 NAACP Image Awards
Angela Bassett returned to the red carpet in top form at the 2015 NAACP Image Awards presented by TV One on Friday (February 6) at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California.

Turning heads with every step, the ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ star and Outstanding Actress nominee smoldered in an Xcite Xtreme metallic gold and black, body-con gown.

Sultry-glam was the name of this ageless beauty’s game, what with the dress’s plunge neckline and figure-enhancing, art-deco-patterned embellishment.

Bold accessories including Karine Sultan cuff bracelets, a Suzanne Kalan ring, and Amrapali earrings fit right in to this power look, which was finished with a sleekly straight, vampy bob.

‘Selma’ And The Legends Who Paved The Way Gala

'Selma' And The Legends Who Paved The Way Gala

The ‘Selma’ and the Legends Who Paved the Way Gala was held at Bacara Resort this past Saturday (December 6) in Goleta, California.

Tessa Thompson: The actress was pretty in a pink Giulietta Spring 2015 dress with a pleated, cutout skirt, which she paired with white Oscar Tiye sandals and a Swarovski clutch. With a distinct ’40s flair, the retro mood was prim but not too proper with its skin-baring keyhole detail that put some sultry into all that sweetness.

Oprah Winfrey: Taking lavender out for a spin, the entertainment mogul wore a Marc Bouwer Couture draped gown with embellished waistband matched to her eye shadow.

Angela Bassett: Leaving the pastels (and the dresses) for Tessa and Oprah, Angela instead suited up in a more mannish black-and-white ensemble. While the outfit was nothing to write home about, she attempted to fancy it up with a fringed tassel necklace and a cerulean-blue clutch. I’m not sure it exactly worked.

With a ladies-who-lunch number, an evening gown, and a business suit, it’s hard to tell just exactly what the dress-code was for this gala.

Angela Bassett In Elisabetta Franchi – 2014 Emmy Awards

Angela Bassett In Elisabetta Franchi - 2014 Emmy Awards

Looking like a goddess, Angela Bassett glided down the red carpet for the 2014 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles, California.

The beautiful actress worked a Grecian vibe wearing a pure white Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2014 long-sleeved gown accented with gold chain detailing on the wrists and a gold leather waistband.

David Yurman jewels, an Oroton ‘Freize’ gold clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels accessorized her look, with wild wavy tresses providing the finishing touches.

Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett & Sarah Paulson – PaleyFest 2014 Closing Night Presentation Honouring ‘American Horror Story: Coven’

Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett & Sarah Paulson - PaleyFest 2014 Closing Night Presentation Honouring 'American Horror Story Coven'

Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett and Sarah Paulson attended The Paley Center for Media’s closing-night presentation honouring ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ in Hollywood, California on Friday (March 28).

Emma Roberts: The young actress, who hosted the Nicolas Kirkwood dinner the night before, went from sexy to chic wearing a chiffon layered Finders Keepers dress. Instead of opting for dainty sandals, she styled her pretty frock with Jimmy Choo ‘Tia’ mirror-rhinestone-embellished pumps, further opting for a selection of complementary jewels. A wavy bobbed ‘do added a retro-glam touch to her look.

Angela Bassett: The actress wore a black-and-white La Petite Robe by Chiara Boni boat-neck cap-sleeved dress, which was sadly upstaged by a distracting oversized green clutch.

Sarah Paulson: Opting for a head-to-toe Marc Jacobs look, she was on track with her co-stars, who also added white elements to their looks. The long-sleeved white dress was, like Angela’s look, let down with some odd accessory choices. The green-and-black snakeskin pumps don’t work with this dress, and I’m not too fond of the camel-and-black clutch either, especially when paired with those shoes. Side-parted locks and a red lip prevented her from looking too washed out.

Who stands out for you here?
