Mary J Blige wore a red Michael Kors Spring 2009 dress. I like the dress, but I liked it better on the runway with a the red patent belt.

What I do love here is her metallic elaphe snakeskin Jimmy Choo clutch with gold hardware.

The nights host Gabrielle Union wore a black asymmetrical Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2009 gown, which had a jeweled detail on the shoulder.

Of her many wardrobe changes, Gabrielle wore a white David Meister Spring 2008 jersey with beading details on the waist.

I like her red dress from the thighs up, but I am very surprised that after walking the red carpet in a black dress, that she wore a further 2 black dresses to present in.

Come on Gabrielle, mix is up a little. Give us more variety.

I much preferred her Pamella Roland Fall 2008 strapless gown with a satin sash at the waist, in the colour of the moment, electric blue.

You may have noticed that towards the end of 2008, I was making an effort to be nice to Beyonce. She had made a lot of changes – stylewise – so I said to myself that in 2009 I will make a conscious effort to be nice to her.

Well we are 8 days into the New Year, and I will already be breaking my New Years resolution.

June Ambrose, the stylish stylist that she is, wore a grey tweed YSL Fall 2008 dress, which had a blue lining. That blue lining worked well with the blue sole of her YSL Trib Two’s. Nice touch.

Is it me or is Ciara almost totally unrecognizable? It appears she has lost a lot of weight, because all I can focus on are her cheek bones.

The singer worked a black leather ensemble with leopard print Louboutin’s.

A furless Mary J Blige walked the red carpet wearing as much tanned leather as she could find in her closet.

Cassie looked supa dupa fly in her cream and black embroidered Givenchy Fall 2008 jacket, with skin-tight black pants and YSL Cut-out platform heels.

Angela Bassett Honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, LA

Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominated actress Angela Bassett has finally received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week.

For her special occasion she wore a fitted white lace pencil dress with contrasting black straps and black bow. She teamed her dress with black peep toe shoes and simple pearl earrings.

The overall look was demure and extremely sophisticated.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is not afraid of loud colours like most actresses. To this event she wore a coral strapless Chloé Resort 2008 mini dress with black peep toes and thick black tights.

Michelle Trachtenberg keeps is simple, yet very sophisticated, in this sweetheart necklined tan and black Lela Rose Spring 2008 pocketed dress.

Again her invisible make-up is stunning.

Kelly Rowland either got dressed in the dark or Tina Knowles is still her stylist.

Everything is wrong here from the way she is wearing this D&G Spring 2008 mini dress with jeans and a leather jacket, to the wig that look ill fitted and hideously cut.

I loved this red Miu Miu Spring 2008 mini dress when I first saw it on the runway, but I don’t like it on TV and radio personality Denise van Outen.

The dress has been modified here, in order for the skirt to be longer, so it loses the cute appeal it originally had.

Kimberley Walsh from UK girl group, Girls Aloud, arrived at this event with her band mates Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding wearing this Marc by Marc Jacobs Colorblock Matte Jersey Dress.

I love that fact that she did not over accessorize this dress.

Nicola Roberts wore this strapless red and white dress from Reiss with a vintage Chanel belt. Her platformed cream heels are from Aldo.

The bad girl of the group, Sarah Harding match her orange lipstick to her dress from the Eley Kishamoto Spring 2008 collection.

With her baby cute looks, mother of one Emma Bunton glammed up for this event wearing a white cap sleeve jacket, over a black and white polka dot top and black pants.

She teamed her ensemble with a pair of very sexy Alexander McQueen Striped leather pumps.

Mel C is just plain and boring, but on trend, in this black tux. She could have sexed it up a bit.

She never stops amazing me at how she can make something so beautiful, look so cheap.

Kristin Cavallari has been put back on the map, thanks to her one-time enemy Lauren Conrad.

She attended this event wearing a T-Bags Print Kimono Dress in colbat blue and chocolate zebra print, with gold strappy sandals.

Sarah Shahi is wearing this grey strapless YSL Spring 2008 dress, which we have now seen on Juilanne Moore, Rihanna and most recently Gwyneth Paltrow.

None of those other ladies wore this shapeless dress with a belt, and that is were Sarah scores major points over the others.

Female Star of the Year Anne Hathaway (no, I don’t know why either) received her award wearing a aubergine Derek Lam Spring 2008 tiered dress with beaded detail on the empire-waist and hem.

Kate Bosworth is another celebrity embracing the transparent trend wearing black satin Alessandro Dell’Acqua Fall 2008 dress with a transparent back and sleeves.

I especially love her Christian Louboutin pointy pumps, with a gold-tone detail on the heel.

America Ferrera opted for a ruffled chocolate brown Angela Sanchez strapless dress with nude peep-toe Jimmy Choo’s, whilst Alexis Bledel opted for a caffé latte shift dress.

America dresses her sexy curves so well.

I only like the top gathered part of this Richard Chai Spring 2008 dress Christina Ricci is wearing, the rest of the dress falls flat for me.

Mango Summer 2008 Collection Photocall, Madrid

Penelope Cruz let her beauty do the talking in this simple ivory sheath dress, with champagne coloured satin shoes.

Monica Cruz is equally, if not more stunning than her older sister in this black playsuit.

It is a shame that their Mango collection does not do them any justice.
