Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Amy Adams was just one of many stars to take to the red carpet for the 2012 Toronto Film Festival this weekend.

Dressed in a lovely Marchesa frock she attended the premiere of her latest movie, ‘The Master’.

Her LBD was decorated with a beautiful satin ribbon cascading from the shoulder down her dress.

Amy’s conservative, yet sexy frock was styled with black Manolo Blahnik pumps and a satin black VBH clutch.

A center parted bun and ruby earrings finished the look.

Amy Adams’ dress literally sparkled on the red carpet at the 9th annual Style Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York City last night.

The actress (who wore a gorgeous plum Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture cocktail dress), however, looked a little less happy to be there.

Nevertheless, the dress fit her perfectly I particularly love the neckline and flared skirt and the simple VBH clutch and black pumps added a classic, yet understated, touch.

Slicked back hair and an apricot lip completed the look.

Amy Adams was spotted in New York on Tuesday heading to a taping on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman.’

The charming actress showed off her figure in a burgundy Helmut Lang Slack Jersey dress.

Ruched sides and panel twists help to flatter while still maintaining a casual vibe.

With added black suede booties, this look just screams ‘Fall’ to me. I’m not sure why stars seem so keen on saying goodbye to summer lately.

Sleek auburn locks and barely there makeup complete the look.

Amy Adams also attended the 2012 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.

The actress wore a Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her one-shouldered silk chiffon gown with a black velvet insert was styled with a silver and gold bow belt by Luigi Scialanga for Giambattista Valli.

The dress, while beautiful, is a bit simple for the occasion.

I wish she’d opted for something with a bit more bite as I will not remember this look by the end of the night.

Veronica Lake waves and a red lippie finish the look.

Amy Adams wore a stunning Roland Mouret dress to the LA premiere of ‘The Muppets’ back in November.

This chic red-and-ivory ‘Herbert’ frock with black accents was our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

Her alluring dress, which she teamed with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and statement earrings, showed off her flawless figure.

Amanda de Cadenet wore the same dress to an InStyle event held in her honour last month.

The photographer and TV host opted for all-black accessories for her dress which had black shoulder straps.

Amy wins for me. The fit is more flattering, her styling is more polished and her accessories are more complementary.

When Amy Adams hit the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in West Hollywood last night, I could only think of three words: Va va voom.

Amy stunned in a silver sequined Vivienne Westwood draped corset dress.

I love that Amy went short for the event – a longer length with this draped gown would have overwhelmed the petite actress.

Veronica Lake-styled waves would have complimented the beautifully structured top of the dress, but she she wears her hair down often, this updo is a refreshing change.

What’s also refreshing is to see her wearing a designer other than Roland Mouret.

Cartier jewels completed her look.
