Amy Adams In Roland Mouret – The Hollywood Reporters’ 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood Luncheon

Amy Adams In Roland Mouret - The Hollywood Reporters' 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood Luncheon

Amy Adams attended The Hollywood Reporters’ 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood Luncheon co-hosted by Jimmy Choo at the Soho House in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday (March 18).

Supporting her stylist, Petra Flannery, who snagged the No. 1 spot on the list, Amy wore a Roland Mouret ‘Lemalia’ dress, which fit her like a glove and featured the designer’s signature asymmetric detail.

While I always love to see the actress in bold colours, I’m glad she opted for the darker pattern variation of the dress, as opposed to the lookbook’s pale-peach version. That said, a brighter lip would have added a bit of punchy fun to the luncheon look.

The sleek-chic statement was completed with Jimmy Choo ‘Claudette’ black sandals and a Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch.

Amy Adams In Atelier Versace – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Amy Adams In Atelier Versace - 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Amy Adams attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Following the Golden Globes, Amy wore yet another custom Atelier Versace light-blue gown. This time the look was strapless and fully embroidered on the front.

I know many found the Globes gown underwhelming in design, but I’m sure you will agree that this is far superior in every possible way from the shade of blue, the design and the fit – it all works.

Amy has had a few – rare – hiccups this awards season, but I’m glad she ended things on top with a bang.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a wavy updo provided the finishing touches to her look which I deem as one of the best on the night.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

TOM’S FAVOURITES
Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Amy Adams In Lanvin – 2015 BAFTAs

Amy Adams In Lanvin - 2015 BAFTAs

Amy Adams attended the 2015 BAFTAs held at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 8) in London, England.

The actress wore a custom-made Lanvin crepe cape sleeve column silk gown created by Alber Elbaz.

Immaculately white and deceptively simple, this stunning gown was prized for its crystal beaded mid-section and tassel belt.

I just love how incredibly modern and chic this look feels. It looks like those enchanted moments we’ve loved for so long are gone for good.

Amy Adams In Vivienne Westwood Couture – EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Amy Adams In Vivienne Westwood Couture - EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Amy Adams attended the EE British Academy Awards nominees party held at Kensington Palace on Saturday (February 7) in London, England.

The actress wore a classic Vivienne Westwood Couture corset dress in a lovely lilac hue, which looked divine against her milky complexion.

I love the purposeful caught-in-the-knickers ruching on the side, which is classic Westwood: a frock with a twist.

I know many of you haven’t been convinced of Amy’s current style, since she switched stylists, but does this look see a return to the softer side of her style for which we all adored her?

Christian Louboutin ‘Body Strass’ mesh pumps with glitter detailing completed her look.

Amy Adams In Max Mara – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Amy Adams In Max Mara - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Amy Adams attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The face of Max Mara wore a custom piece from the Italian brand, donning a semi-matte ivory silk duchesse bustier dress, which she styled with sparkling Kurt Geiger London ‘Beverly’ sandals.

When it comes to awards season you can always rely on Amy, but unfortunately this look falls flat – way too flat.

For a custom piece the fit is surprisingly off and the black panel feels like a last ditch attempt to try to make this piece interesting – it failed.

The styling is bringing me out in hives and the hair feels juvenile.

We all have our off days, but it’s painful when it happens to one of the best.
