Damn you Freida Pinto.

BDOTW is going to be hard enough.

The nude runway version of this Valentino Spring 2010 dress is beautiful, but the Indian beauty picked a black sheer version with a nude underlay which I absolutely adore.

Her look was paired with satin black heels and a Roger Vivier Canasta clutch.

I’m loving every thing about Emily Blunt’s Basil Soda Fall 2009 Couture maroon dress from the waist up.

Her patterned skirt doesn’t quite work for me.

Had it been one block colour, I think I would been drooling over this look.

This appears to be a less formal event, so I will concede that she did make a great choice despite my reservations about the skirt.

I love the wrap around beaded bodice as it’s so interesting and unique, plus I adore her silver sandals, but that crystallized ruby clutch is to die for.

I know a lot of you find Claire Danes very boring on the red carpet, but I find her quite calming on the red carpet.

As much as I like big dramatic gowns, with bling and vibrant colours, you never see Claire making huge mistakes on the red carpet.

She has a formula, and it appears she is sticking to it.

For me this Oscar de la Renta look is in a long line for simple flawless looks for Claire.

Amy Adams wears a simple navy Azzaro dress with a twist, as it has a ruched detail going down one side.

All in all, this is a fantastically well dressed event.

Kudos to all these ladies.

After falling in love with Penelope Cruz’ look, I’m brought right back down to earth by Amy Adams.

The star wore a stunning white floral print Carolina Herrera Resort 2010 gown with intricate bead work, but for me it doesn’t work on Amy.

I assume many of you will love it, and if you do let me know via the comments because for me this isn’t a Best Dressed Of The Week contender.

She looks a little tired, the dress doesn’t flatter her, her hair is really mumsy plus the off-the-shoulder neckline looks awkward on her yet elegant on the model.

Apart from the gown and the gold VBH clutch I don’t like anything here.

Amy Adams looks stunning as always wearing a white RM by Roland Mouret Aphrodite dress with nude suede shoes.

I love the twist detail on the bodice, but unfortunately it exposes Amy’s nude bra.

Simple elegance is what we are used to seeing from Amy, and she doesn’t let us down.  Just a shame about that damn bra strap.

“Twilight” actress Ashley Greene shows off her curves wearing Brian Reyes sleeveless double stitch dress.

The figure-hugging white dress has contrast stitch and expose zippers on the front and back to give it a bit of an edge.

Ashley completed her look with a pop of colour via her red lips and orange clutch. Plus she wore what’s fast becoming her favorite heels - her Jimmy Choo Verity sandals.

Meryl Streep only really dresses up for the big occasions, but I love this look for her vibrant red dress - she normally wears dark colours.

I’m not a fan of large bags on the red carpet. It gives me a feeling that Maria Menounos just arrived from work or the mall.

But in saying that the nude bag looks fabulous with her sexy strapless belted jumpsuit with a ruffled bodice.

Very Jenny from the Block.

Amy Adams looked demure in a delicate lavender RM by Roland Mouret silk dress when she attended the premiere of “Night at the Museum 2″ in Washington, DC earlier this year.

I love the detailing which you can expect from any Roland Mouret piece, plus the colour against her porcelain skin and red locks.

This dress made it from the runway to the red carpet in 2 months, and from the runway to Net-A-Porter in a 4 months.

The time it takes for runway pieces to be available to us seems to be getting shorter and shorter.

You can buy this stunning piece from the Net-A-Porter US site for $2,830, or the Net-A-Porter International site for £1,685/€1,733.

“Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian” Washington Premiere

Amy Adams wore a RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2009 gown, for her premiere.

I love the pin-tuck detailing, and the pale lilac colour against her porcelain skin, but her hair isn’t glowing like it normally does.

The Caudwell Children Butterfly Ball, London

Elizabeth Hurley wore a silk Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2009 pink strapless gown, which was gathered above the waist with a circular clasp.

She kept her jewelery to a minimum, with a silver bracelet which matched her VBH envelope clutch.

“Seven Days” Tokyo Stage Greeting, Japan

It’s just not fair that Yunjin Kim looks so flawless with such minimal make-up.

The Lost actress opted for a black Gucci Spring 2009 asymmetrical dress, which like Liz’ gown, was gathered at the waist with a gold clasp.

Gucci Iman metallic T-strap sandals from the Fall 2009 collection, complete the look.

46664 & The Nelson Mandela Foundation Launches “Mandela Day”, LA

Marisa Tomei never fails to pull out all the stops on the red carpet, but this outfit doesn’t completely work for me. I love how she’s working the 80s shoulder pads in her blazer, but I’m not so crazy about the pants.

The masculine suit is made demure by a tidy up-do, and a sheer blouse.

“Late Show with David Letterman”, New York

Teri Hatcher opted for a classic, figure-hugging Moschino Cheap and Chic black strapless crepe dress with microdots.

This is a classic case of making a big statement with a simple LBD.

Amy Adams attended the 2009 Golden Globe Awards wearing a black strapless Oscar De La Renta Spring 2009 fantasy princess gown.

The embroidered tulle gown, with a sweetheart neckline was enchanting, with the floral appliqués. It wasn’t my favourite look from her for the Awards season, as I wished her to have taken more risks, but she does look beautiful.

Ilia Calderon, wore the same dress to the Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina Awards last month.

The Colombian journalist and TV presenter really sparkled in the the dress. I preferred her hair, make-up and overall look, so she wins for me.
