Amber Heard In Michael Kors – Michael Kors 30th Anniversary Celebratory Dinner

We haven’t seen much of Amber Heard on the red carpet lately, but she was in Paris last night attending the Michael Kors’ 30th anniversary dinner at the US Ambassador’s Residence.

She wore a suntan Michael Kors Fall 2011 ensemble.

The look consists of a bodysuit, a pleated skirt and an asymmetric belt.

Michael Kors Fall 2011 mirrored platform sandals and a gold clutch completed the look.

On this rare occasion I think I would’ve preferred the black version on Amber.

I’m not sure if it’s the contrast of this picture or the colour of this look, but Amber is looking a tad washed out.

This colour looked better on Gwyneth Paltrow at the Vanity Fair Oscar party because the actress had a sun-kissed glow.

Did Amber make the right choice?

Do you think she should’ve opted for the black version?

Amber Heard In Donna Karan – “Drive Angry 3D” LA Premiere

It’s been a while since we last saw Amber Heard on the red carpet.

At the “Drive Angry 3D” LA Premiere this week she proved she hasn’t lost any of her charm or ability to pull of any look.

She wore a gunmetal grey fully sequined Donna Karan strapless dress.

I love dress on her, but I wish she’d opted to go slightly shorter on the hem.

I’ll guess she wanted this look to be all about the dress as she wore simple bow front black Casadei peep-toe heels, Gilan Heritage Collection diamond drop earrings and a cocktail ring to complete her look.

“Nowhere Boy” New York Premiere – Amber Heard In Jason Wu

Amber Heard looked gorgeous on the red carpet last night at the “Nowhere Boy” New York Premiere.

The actress gave us classic Hollywood glamour – as she always does – wearing a Jason Wu Resort 2011 dress.

Her pressed-daffodil print one-shoulder cascading ruffle dress was paired with dazzling Chopard jewels.

It would’ve been so easy for her to pair her dress with black pumps considering the print, but she opted for champagne peep-toes.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Olivia Palermo In Susan Woo & Amber Heard In Dolce & Gabbana

Olivia Palermo wearing Susan Woo was your pick for best dressed this week.

Olivia has a great sense of style, and we all know she put this beautiful look together herself without the help of a stylist, so that helps us appreciate this look even more.

I fell head over heels in love with Amber Heard in Dolce & Gabbana.

I just loved the elegance of this look.

It’s grown up without being too mature and sophisticated without feeling like she tried too hard.

It wasn’t your favourite look, but I loved everything about it.

9th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree – Amber Heard In Dolce & Gabbana

My best dressed at the 9th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree was Amber Heard.

My girl of the moment channeled her inner ‘Betty Draper’ in a non-cheesy way.

You have to possess a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to pull of this type of look without looking like an extra from “Mad Men”.

Amber carries this look with aplomb.

The “Zombieland” actress went for a colour-block Dolce & Gabbana dress with a peplum at the waist.

The look is elegant, classic and timeless.

I especially love the hair which helps bring this 60s vibe to life.

Black peep-toes, a black clutch and Miriam Haskell jewels complete this stunning look.

BDOTW contender for me.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Dita von Teese In Elie Saab Couture & Amber Heard In Marchesa

It not surprising that Dita von Teese won Best Dressed of The Week considering the looked angelic wearing an Elie Saab Couture gown.

The colour was outstanding against her porcelain skin. She would have been my winner if she’d picked another clutch.

I had a tough decision trying to pick from Kristen Bell in Georges Chakra Couture and Amber Heard in Marchesa.

In the end I picked Amber who swept me away with her romantic look.

Firstly because she was totally flawless from her loose updo to her elegant Marchesa dress to her Brian Atwood heels.

Secondly because she more than held her own against two Hollywood heavyweights – Angelina Jolie and Naomi Watts.
