Amber Heard In Osman - Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 2013 Installation Luncheon

Amber Heard was also among the starlets-who-lunch at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2013 Installation Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday afternoon in California, where she stepped onstage at one point with actor Liam Hemsworth.

The ‘Paranoia’ actress took on the midriff trend in a refreshing way, wearing an Osman Resort 2014 embossed white, curved-hem crop top with an open back and matching asymmetric skirt.

She accessorized the classic-mod look with nude Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps and EF Collection jewels, including a wrist full of delicate gold bangles.

A wispy milkmaid braided updo and a bronzed smokey eye added a romantic tinge to the relaxed-chic styling.

Amber Heard In Vionnet - 'Paranoia' LA Premiere

As one of my faves, I was excited to see Amber Heard take to the red carpet for the ‘Paranoia’ premiere, which was held at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

Maybe my expectations were way too high, but my immediate response to her in this Vionnet dress was disappointment.

Realising that I wasn’t giving the sky-blue-black-and-ivory draped dress with a navy skirt and ivory beaded embellishments a chance because the look didn’t scream va-va-voom, I tried to give it another shot, but after seeing it from every angle, especially the back, the only thing I like about the look is the mix of colours.

The silhouette doesn’t work for me as I don’t think it is doing anything for her.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this look, as I think I was far too expectant to see this look clearly.

Amber Heard In Michael Kors - Jimmy Kimmel Live!

After wearing a pretty frock for the ‘Paranoia’ press conference last week, it looks like Amber Heard got her sexy back while spotted making her way to a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ in West Hollywood, California yesterday afternoon.

The blonde beauty wore a tantalizing Michael Kors Resort 2014 look featuring a black scoop-neck top and a camel-and-black skirt with a risqué thigh-high slit. It’s the slit which places this look firmly in the sexy category, even though the actress just oozes sex appeal no matter what she wears.

Sporting beach waves, she completed the look with natural makeup, Dana Rebecca Designs and EF Collection jewels and Christian Louboutin pumps.

The premiere of ‘Paranoia’ takes place this evening in LA with the handsome Josh Holloway and Liam Hemsworth on the red carpet; however, I know when I wake up tomorrow morning, the first person I am going to be searching for is Amber.

Amber Heard In J Mendel - 'Paranoia' Press Conference

Amber Heard attended a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, California on Thursday for her latest movie, ‘Paranoia’.

The blonde beauty wore a J. Mendel Resort 2014 white off-the-shoulder boat-neck dress featuring sheer asymmetrical inserts throughout.

I love how this classic style is given a modern twist with the panels. It really is such a refreshing, clean look.

The summery frock was styled with nude patent-leather Christian Louboutin ‘ Batignolles’ pumps (which are a few sizes too big) and Dana Rebecca Designs ‘Nikki Joy’ diamond stud earrings.

Amber Heard for Flare September 2013

Amber Heard dons a beige blouse by The Row and matching A.L.C. skirt for her Flare September 2013 cover which was shot by Kurt Iswarienko.

The rest of her editorial sees her wearing similar summery hued pieces by Derek Lam and Emilio Pucci.

Amber who talks to the mag about her upcoming movie, ‘Paranoia’, which she stars alongside Liam Hemsworth, growing up different, picking the right rolls and keeping mum about her relationship with Johnny Depp.

You can read the whole interview over at Flare.com. Here are some extracts:

On keeping quiet about her relationship with Johnny Depp: “It’s not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don’t want to be a celebrity…You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub…Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it… I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don’t want to change just because people are watching. I’ve always been the person who says what she wants.”

On her new film, paranoia, with Liam Hemsworth: “I loved how you’re dealing with a lot of old themes like greed and power, but it’s such a modern story. My character basically had to be smart enough to manipulate Liam Hemsworth’s character. Yes, there are sex scenes, but it wasn’t like she was falling at his feet.”

On growing up different in Austin, Texas: “I hated the idea of school dances, hated whatever was going on in pop culture. I didn’t have any concept of celebrities or Hollywood. I was always reading, reading and listening to music.”

On going horror heroine over rom-com romance: “If there was an interesting rom-com script, I wouldn’t be against it, but the stuff I have gotten is just girls who are dying to get the guy or be saved by the guy…At least the female characters in horror movies fight back and do something for themselves. They’re not just sitting around waiting for a man to save the day.”

On picking the right roles: “[The script] doesn’t say that these characters are ‘sexy.’ I’m not picking them because of that. I take roles that are interesting, and scripts that have female characters with depth.”

Nina Dobrev’s Monique Lhuillier Met Gala look was your best dressed this week.

Even though you guys didn’t rate her, Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci was my best dressed this week by a very long mile.

Between the colour, the embellishments, impeccable styling and that sexy open back, I was hooked.

When it came to the guys, it was a two-horse race between Eddie Redmayne and Chris Pine. Eventually, Chris won for his very dapper Ralph Lauren pinstripe three-piece suit.
