Red Carpet Fashion Awards

My heart sank when I saw Amanda Seyfried on the red carpet at the 2012 Tony Awards, held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City this evening.

This look will give me nightmares.

I don’t think I have ever disliked a look worn by Amanda Seyfried, but as the saying goes, “there’s a first time for everything”.

The actress donned a Givenchy Fall 2012 purple slip dress with gold embellished details which was accented with an orange belt.

Seeing this look on someone as gorgeous and flawless as Amanda proves my theory, this collection was always going to be difficult to translate well on the red carpet.

What was she thinking? And the Tony Awards of all occasions.

Apart from those Givenchy sandals, I can’t find one good thing to say about this look.

Can you?

Fred Leighton jewels and an orange Givenchy clutch accessorized her look.

Amanda Seyfried walked the red carpet on Tuesday night for the LA premiere for her latest movie, ‘Gone.’

The starlet wore a blush-toned Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her nude silk dress with a sheer patterned overlay was paired with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Nola Singer jewelry.

The dress is pretty, but I prefer a feistier Amanda on the red carpet.

As the lead actress this seems far too tame.

This look should’ve been saved for the new and improved Jennifer Aniston and Amanda should’ve called on her buddy Prabal Gurung to make things a little more interesting.

Amanda Seyfried showed her support for the March Of Dimes’ 6th Annual Celebration Of Babies Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday evening.

The ‘In Time’ actress wore a pink Calvin Klein short-sleeve mini dress.

I love the colour. It’s a beautiful, simple look which she teamed with nude Yves Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ pumps.

Her minimalistic look was complete with barely-there makeup and loose, natural waves.

The only thing that lets her down are the heels, firstly for being a predictable choice and secondly for feeling so heavy with her lightweight look.

Amanda Seyfried attended the 2011 CFDA Vogue/Fashion Fund Awards which were held at the Skylight SoHo in New York City last night.

The actress shows that she has a serious addiction to Prabal Gurung’s pieces as she dons her second look from his Spring 2012 collection.

Not a bad addiction to have.

On this occasion she wore a white drop-waist tulle dress with a plunging back, embroidered matte sequins, crystals, silks bows and ostrich feathers.

Whilst the Nicholas Kirkwood heels work on the runway, I find them a tad too fussy on the red carpet. A simple pair of Aniston-esqe strappy sandals would’ve sufficed, considering the dress has so many beautiful details to take in.

A ponytail or bun would’ve perfected this look to show off that contrasting neckline.

Amanda Seyfried was giving me serious bag envy whilst arriving at LAX airport following her European tour for her latest movie ‘In Time’ on Friday.

The star, who was wearing a classic black Burberry trench coat and a stylish hat, was spotted curbside with two coveted bags.

Her Givenchy Antigona duffel bag has been a celebrity favourite since early spring of this year, and continues to be a favourite with Kelly Rowland, Nicole Richie, Ciara, January Jones and Charlize Theron.

The second bag is a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2011 Prince of Wales python tote.

These bags couldn’t be more different.

Her Givenchy bag has a downtown feel to it. It’s more of an everyday bag, whereas the Ferragamo tote is more elegant with its softly structured lines. This would be my special occasion bag.

Which bag do you favour?

You can buy both of Amanda’s bags. The Givenchy bag is available from farfetch.com whilst the Ferragamo tote is available in white from Luisa via Roma.

Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake are now in France, where they have attended the Paris photocall for their new movie ‘In Time’ earlier today.

The blonde starlet opted for a Marios Schwab Spring 2012 dress, which is our second look at this collection within 24 hours and our third look at it in total.

As we’ve seen this net overlay three times now, I would hope celebs pick something different from this collection in future.

I would hate for this collection to be classed as one-note.

Sergio Rossi pin-heel black pumps and her trademark glossy locks provided the finishing touches to her cap sleeve dress.

Of those who’ve worn this Marios Schwab Spring 2012 collection, Kristen’s is my favourite.

Who do you favour?

Rebecca Hall, Kristen Stewart or Amanda Seyfried?
