Amanda Seyfried In RED Valentino – 15th Annual USTA Opening Night Gala

Amanda Seyfried In RED Valentino - 15th Annual USTA Opening Night Gala

Amanda Seyfried attended the 15th annual USTA opening night gala at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Monday (August 31) in New York City, where Serena Williams is aiming to create history.

Overtly feminine dresses are RED Valentino’s speciality, and it would appear that Amanda has a penchant for this style, as this is her second RED Valentino Resort 2016 frock .

The classic silhouette is spliced with a scalloped detailed hemline and pointy collar to add some playful appeal, however, I’m glad she opted not to wear the tie.

While the shoes are dull yet seemingly appropriate, the Givenchy ‘Baby’s Breath’ printed canvas pouch and chic shades managed to give this look some modern flare, but I still feel slightly underwhelmed.

Amanda Seyfried In Mugler – ‘Ted 2’ New York Premiere

Amanda Seyfried In Mugler - 'Ted 2' New York Premiere

Amanda Seyfried attended the New York Premiere of ‘Ted 2’ at the Ziegfeld Theater on Wednesday (June 24) in New York City.

I love how the grommet trim and lace-up shoulder detail accentuate the sleek, modern feel of this mini Mugler dress.

Considering the bare lip, a pop of colour via her shoes would’ve been welcome, but that takes nothing away from what is possibly one of her best looks this year.

I love how this look possess an edge without feeling too contrived.

Amanda Seyfried In RED Valentino – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Amanda Seyfried In RED Valentino - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Amanda Seyfried made an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ on Friday (June 5).

It was hard not to smile seeing the ‘Ted 2’ actress in a charming RED Valentino Resort 2016 A-line rainbow mini-dress.

The frock was undeniably youthful and sweet, but she managed to pull it off without the look immediately landing in twee-land.

The longer hemline than seen in the lookbook helped, and I have a feeling the black patent Christian Louboutin heels were also selected for their more grown-up appeal.

Amanda Seyfried In Oscar de la Renta – 2015 Tony Awards

Amanda Seyfried In Oscar de la Renta - 2015 Tony Awards

Amanda Seyfried attended the 2015 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 7) in New York City.

Going left, by not opting for a full-length gown, the actress wore an Oscar de la Renta floral jacquard mini from the Fall 2015 collection.

I love how the off-the-shoulder style and peek-a-boo lace panels lend touches of femininity to the look.

Tiffany & Co. jewelry, Christian Louboutin ‘Maltaise’ pumps and smoky eye makeup capped off this sultry offering.

Amanda Seyfried In Rodarte – 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Amanda Seyfried In Rodarte - 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Amanda Seyfried attended the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City.

The actress wore an intriguing Rodarte Fall 2015 beaded lace and sequin stripe tulle dress accented with marabou and lurex feather trim and Swarovski crystals.

There is perhaps a little too much going on, but I like that Amanda stepped out of her comfort zone on this occasion.

Monique Péan jewels and Christian Louboutin ‘Benedetta’ sandals completed her look.

Amanda Seyfried In Givenchy Couture – 2015 Met Gala

Amanda Seyfried In Givenchy Couture - 2015 Met Gala

Amanda Seyfried also attended the 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City tonight (May 4).

The white, halter-neck Givenchy Couture gown is an absolute work of art, and one that Amanda wears flawlessly.

The effect of the floral appliqués almost looks like cut paper to me, it is so delicate and intricate in nature. The multi-layered high/low hemline is unexpected for this type of gown, and while at first I thought it detracted from the design, the more I look at it, the more I agree that it does elevate the entire concept.

Stunning earrings, a deep berry lipstick, sleek updo and enviable posture finish off a lovely look. I’m a bit distracted by what appear to be too-stark-white shoes, but I still give Amanda very high marks for this look.
