Fergie is one of the first to arrive wearing a modified Dsquared Spring 2008 mini dress.

Fergie really pulls it off at the big events. Great legs as always.

Best Gold/Best Dressed Award
Thank God Baby V is back. She has been MIA on the red carpet for a while, but she is back, and how.

Doesn’t she look amazing? Unlike her colleague Ashley.

While Ashley badly embellished, Vanessa sparkles in this gold sequined Marc Bouwer mini.

Hair, make-up, dress, sandals, accessories all perfect.

Best Hair Award
Alicia Keys is stunning in this Giorgio Armani Fall 2007 empire waisted knee-length dress.

Best Shoes Award
Great dress from Nuj Novakhett and fabulous Christian Louboutin Glitter Pumps, but Miley Cyrus lets herself down with the cheap hair extensions.

Best ‘Dare To Be Different’ Award
I like the contrasting colours on Nicole Scherzinger dress and I also like the fact that she did not wear something short and skimpy for a nice change.

Best Use of Colour Award
Christina Applegate looks stunning in this electric blue Donna Karan Fall 2007 strapless gown. Not crazy about the shoes though.

Best Va Va Voom, Keeping it Sexy, but Not Trashy Award
Kellie Pickler keeps up her impressive red carpet appearances in this sexy backless black tulle gown with gold underly.

Best Earrings Award
Ashanti is another I usually worry about on the red carpet but tonight she is wearing a classy Max Azria Atelier canary yellow dress.. I especially love the embellished detail on the empire waist.

Great earrings.

Best Nude Lips Award
Amanda Bynes helps emphasize my point of less is more on the embellishments, which went crazy on Ashley Tisdale’s dress.

Amanda gives Fergie a run for her money for best legs. I am still wishing for a new hairstyle for Amanda, hoping we will get this in 2008.

Commendation For Not Going Over The Top
When I knew Beyonce was going to be at this event, I geared myself to hate her dress.

Surprisingly I don’t, as she has not gone over the top and kept it simple.

The bronze is the perfect colour for her caramel skin tone, and I love the lavender that peeps out of the pleated top half of the dress.

I will kick myself if her mother made this dress.

UPDATE: This is from the House of Dereon. I am hating myself for liking a design by Tina Knowles.

Most Improved Award
Another Knowles I am surprised to be putting in the Best Dressed category.

Solange Knowles is has a worthy place in this category wearing this latte coloured Giambattista Valli Spring 2007 mini dress.

What would have made this better, is if she had slicked her hair back in a tight bun to show off the dress more.

Best Comeback Award
OK the make-up is not great, but dress-wise Celine Dion looks fabulous in this Temperley flapper-style mini dress.

The Tory Burch black sequined dress was the most popular, as it was worn by six celebrities.

The Juicy Couture dress was worn by five celebrities, with Mishca Barton loving the dress so much she brought it in two colours.

Now we have the Alice + Olivia Beaded Tunic dress.

Jenny McCarthy hosted a party at PURE Nightclub and teamed her dress with silver heels.

Sarah Silverman wore her dress to the Maxim Oasis VMA Party with tights and black heels.

Golden Brooks wore her dress to the LA Confidential Magazine Pre-Emmy Party with her YSL Tribute pumps.

Amanda Bynes wore her dress to the Hollywood Film Festival Awards with black suede shoes and a black clutch.

I choose Jenny McCarthy.

It is a nice dress, but hopefully this is the last we see of it on the red carpet.

Despite reports Vanessa Hudgens was at the US Weekly’s Hot Hollywood party last night.

She may have gone through a major scandal but it has not effected her style. She made sure she stood out in this French Connection multi-coloured sequined mini dress. Gorgeous.

Amanda Bynes was the best dressed at this event wearing a royal blue Herve Leger dress with black accents.

Surprisingly Lauren Conrad is not plugging her own designs, instead she opts for a Jenny Packham number.

Audrina Patridge is wearing a gorgeous Rock Republic dress with strappy Christian Louboutin’s. I love the silver trim.

Shame about the hair.

Sarah Michelle Gellar carries this off-the shoulder sequined mirrored Chloe Fall 2007 dress beautifully.

Emmy Rossum only just gets away with this gold Calvin Klein metallic dress.

Mary J Blige has darked the blonde hue, which softens her face. She is wearing a white bandeau halter dress from Michael Kors with black Givenchy heels.

Heidi Montag is wearing a gorgeous red sequined Rumor dress with YSL Tribute pumps. The dress makes her new boobs look not so fake.

Miley Cyrus is wearing a dress by LaRok. The dress is really nice, but Miley has no confidence to wear it well. She always looks uncomfortable on the red carpet.

Jennifer Morrison is wearing a beautiful strapless monochrome brocade Marchesa 2008 Resort dress.

I love the matching earrings.

Jamie Lynn Spears is wearing a black Rebecca Taylor dress with maroon shoes. I am still hating the badger hair.

Paris Hilton’s Clothing Launch At Kitson, LA

Paris Hilton unveiled her namesake clothing line yesterday which consisted of t-shirts – with her face on it – shoes and jeans. Additional pieces will be released next month. The line is reasonably priced, but I think that is mostly because in my opinion it is not very good.

“It’s a dream come true to have my own clothing line,” she said, wearing a gold sequined mini-dress. “It’s just Paris style: fun, bright and flashy.”

Mmm what rhymes with flashy??? Trashy.

Dear by Amanda Bynes Clothing Launch At Steve & Barry’s, New York

The ‘Dear’ range is named after the affectionate term used by older generations of women in reference to young ladies.

The 220 piece collection is aimed at tennagers and features typical youth favourites like hoodies printed with stars and hearts, cropped cargo pants, racerback tanks for layering, casual pants, graphic hoodies, dresses, fitted polos, and skinny stretch jeans. The collection also includes shoes, hats, bags, belts, jewelry.

“It is important for teens to know that they don’t need to spend a fortune on clothes to look great and have the confidence that goes along with that,” said Bynes. Deja Vu…isn’t this almost EXACTLY what Sarah Jessica Parker said about her Bitten collection two months ago?

Only the 150 customers waiting in line who bought the Armani gift set were allowed the chance to meet Beyonce and have her sign their purchase. *eyeroll*

I hate the dress she is wearing. I reminds me of the bow Sarah Ferguson – the original Fergie – used to wear and made fashionable in the ’80s.

I am not a fan of the one sleeved anything, but I am kinda liking this Jil Sander Fall 2007 dress on Kate Bosworth. Mostly because Kate is so beautiful wearing the dress.
