Alice + Olivia

Paris Hilton showed off her very long legs wearing a LWD with a embellished bodice, and a multi-layered skirt

She completed her look with silver sparkling heels, and a faux-fur shrug.

Nicky Hilton opted for head-t0-toe black.

I love Kim Kardashian’s white waistcoat and pants set, but I don’t like the hair.

This look is so tailored, that a sleek ponytail or bun, would have worked better for me.

The Hilton sisters were in black and white, so were the Kardashian’s with Khloe being the one to faded to black.

I am loving Kristen Bell’s look. I just got a pair of tapered black trousers like this from H&M, so I think I may steal this look for tomorrow.

Adrienne Bailon looks adorable wearing a pink Alice + Olivia strapless ruffle bib dress. She gave her cutesy look an edge with a biker jacket, and the celebrity uniform shoe – the YSL Trib Two’s.

Tracy Reese

A fresh faced Paris Hilton arrived at this show wearing a red velvet dress, with a lush jacket.

I love this jacket, especially the puffy shoulders.

Nicky paired her leather jacket with a white dress.

This is an adorable LWD from Tracy Reese’s Spring 2009 collection, but again Kim Kardashian’s hair is bothering me.

Kellie Pickler wore a peachy halter with skin-tight jeans. She looked fabulous here, and even better at the Pamella Roland show which I saw her at today, but more on that later.

Jill Stuart

Kristen Bell opted for a gorgeous summery floral strapless dress, with a grey cardigan.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore a grey Jill Stuart Resort 2009 halter neck dress, with a cute bow on the hip.

Jessica Stroup opted for a white floaty dress from the Spring 2009 collection.

Amanda Bynes is wearing a stunning teal dress with a tiered skirt, but she really needs to work on her angles, that pose is so off.

Worst Dressed/Is It Meant To Be Funny? Cause I Ain’t Laughing Award
Funny woman Sarah Silverman tried to inject a bit of humour to the red carpet, and ended up being the joke.

Converse on the red carpet? Really? Was your dress not tragic enough on its own?

Worst Herve Leger Award
Ooooh Heidi Montag will be so jealous that Amanda Bynes wore this hot pink Herve Leger Spring 2009 dress before her.

OK she looks great it in, but yawn. I’m so over this type of bandage dress. The newer styles I can handle, but this, NO.

Worst Strapless/I Tried But I Couldn’t Love It Award
After Marisa Tomei’s red Donna Karan dress from the People’s Choice Awards, I was excepting to fall in love again.

Unfortunately I could not fall in with with her black strapless Giambattista Valli Fall 2006 dress.

On the runway, the dress looks fab, but Marisa just couldn’t pull it off imo. The ruffle dominates her.

Worst Hair/Lipstick Award
Elizabeth Banks usually always looks amazing on the red carpet. Her Reem Acra dress is gorgeous, and the shoes compliment it well, but she ruins the look with a birds nest hair do, and shocking pink lips.

Best Forever21/New Look Award
Now there is nothing wrong with Forever21, nor New Look. I have shopped at both stores.

The clothes are cheap and disposable, and this is exactly how Kristen Bell makes this Stella McCartney Spring 2009 dress look.

She completed her look with a Fendi Mini Borderline satin clutch.

No Wow Factor Award
Penelope Cruz is an A list actress.

Like Theron, Diaz, and Kruger, they should be wowing us every time they step their Jimmy Choo’s on the red carpet. They have Galliano, Lagerfeld and Valli on their speed dials, so they never have excuses.

I am not wow’ed. Not even close. I think it is mixture of feeling like I have seen this look on her before, and that she doesn’t even look enthused to be there, kills my buzz also.

This is a B list actress dress at best.

There was not much star quality on the pink carpet as we have come to expect from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but I was happy to see Heidi Klum, looking stunning in a strapless LBD, with patterned tights.

She completed her look with a black platform Louis Vuitton heels, and a black patent YSL belt.

I really like Becki Newton, she now always looks flawless on the red carpet, she also provided some star quality, as she arrived at the event wearing a crisp white suit, with pushed up sleeves à la Don Johnson.

She completed her look with gold peep-toes and a pale peach top.

Paris Hilton arrived wearing a black feather hemmed Jenny Packham Fall 2008 mini dress, with YSL tribute pumps.

The only thing I like here is her diamond necklace. The dress does not look right on her at all.

I love the jeweled details going down the ruffled side of Kristin Cavallari’s black asymmetric LBD.

With her Pierre Hardy shoes, Cassie wore a gold shimmering Herve Leger dress.

Amanda Bynes looks very svelte in her one-sleeved black mini dress, but I can’t help but bring up (again – I know) the fact that this girl never does anything new to her hair.

I think a new style or colour with make her appear more fresh, and current.

This is Jessica Szohr’s usual laid back style with wild messy hair, which are more accustomed to seeing on the red carpet.

The Gossip Girl actress arrived wearing a pink vest top and a short black mini. She completed her look with an assorted mix of bangles.

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian both wore very eclectic prints by Mara Hoffman.

Kourtney wore an ivory Mara Hoffman Fall 2008 turtleneck mini dress with a red Chanel clutch.

Kim wore a high neck, keyhole blouse with billowing sleeves in turquoise, black latex leggings, and a pair of Louboutins. This time last year, Kim would have worn this as a dress.

Both ladies wore their ponytails to the side.

It was a surprise to see Aubrey O’Day on this pink carpet, but the surprise was that she was not half naked, and actually presentable for a nice change.

Her bronze shimmering mini dress, works well with her tan, and I adore her ruby red t-bar heels.

Gabrielle Union wears just a plain black dress, with strappy black sandals.

As does Molly Sims, but her look is slightly more interesting with nude pumps.

Actress Navi Rawat takes the LBD an interesting step further wearing a Marchesa asymmetric pleat dress, with a bead embellished neck.

Nil points to Michelle Trachtenberg for wearing an very unoriginal Herve Leger black dress. It’s people her who make me grow tired of the brand.

Gwyneth Paltrow looks fabulous wearing a strapless white mini Stella McCartney Spring 2009 dress.

The dress had a interesting fold, gathered detail on the skirt, but it’s a bit unfortunate that the dress is slightly ill-fitting around the bust.

Kate Hudson looked very sexy wearing a silk cobalt blue halter neck Alexander Wang dress, with a pair of black patent pumps.

She let the gorgeous dress do the talking, as she did not accessorize at all.

I am not a fan of mesh tops with a revealing bra, but Heidi Klum make it look sexy, not trashy. And besides we have seen Heidi in her bra so many times that it does not matter anyway.

She wears her top with black leather high waisted skirt, and Balenciaga Fall 2008 silver and black pointy heels.

Her fellow Victoria’s Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio wore a micro-mini Doo.Ri Spring 2009, silver embellished dress, with heavy silver accessories.

Only a supermodel and Mariah Carey can get away with this look.

Becki Newton opted for a purple Marc Jacobs dress, which had blue love hearts all over it, and a black trim.

If I saw this dress on the hanger in a store, I would be instantly attracted to it, because of its bright colours. Unfortunately for Becki, it looks a little maternity.

Chloe Sevigny’s laid back style is in full effect here. I do like her khaki very mini vintage Alaia dress, but I am less enthused with her Wrangler denim jacket.

Her animal print Ralph Lauren ankle-wrap heels, are the perfect finishing touch.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore zebra print Jenny Packham babydoll dress, with peep-toe Louboutin’s.

Jessica Szohr hit the red carpet wearing skinny jeans, a white shirt, black platform sandals and a black hat. This is what I am more used to seeing her wearing, which is why she was Best Dressed last week in her J. Mendel gown.

Molly Sims’ black asymmetric dress had a draped detail on the skirt.

This is a very chic look for her, which she completes with a pair of jeweled peep-toe heels.

Paris Hilton sequined Jenny Packham dress sparkled enough, so the jeweled necklace is overkill on this gorgeous green cocktail dress.

She wore a pair of bronze heels, which complimented the bronze accents on her dress.

Gabrielle Union wore a black belted Alice + Olivia Structured Collar Dress with dark tights and strappy sandals.

Kim Kardashian looked chic wearing a black belted taffeta dress, with black heels, a Swarovski clutch, and bold red lips.

There is not single element of Amanda Bynes look that I like here.

“Living Proof” New York Premiere

Renee Zellweger was demure and stunning as always, wearing a black Carolina Herrera dress, with a steel grey lace overlay.

The actress wore her dress with dove grey strappy sandals.

I am glad she has finally decided to style her hair more elegantly.

Amanda Bynes looks cute and sun-kissed with that glowing tan, wearing a very LBD, with cream pumps.

TOD’S Private Dinner, Milan

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a coral Marni Spring 2009 shift dress, which has an interesting pleated fan detail on the neckline.

Gorgeous dress, shame about the thick black tights.

Late Show With David Letterman, New York

Juilanne Moore looked very colourful and radiant wearing a raspberry Valentino Resort 2009 dress, with a ruffled detail on one side and a bow on her hip.

She wore her dress with black strappy Roger Vivier shoes, that did not quite work for me.

Hair Magazine Awards 2008, London

Kirsty Gallacher, my new girl crush after she wore a stunning Herve Leger dress last week.

The TV presenter wore this interesting PPQ Fall 2008 dress. The dress has a velvet haltered bodice, and a print tulip skirt, with a mermaid hem. There is a lot going on, but it all works so well together.

“Blindness” Screening, New York

Another event, another fab dress for Julianne Moore. This time it was a navy Oscar de la Renta Spring 2009 crepe dress, with a draped bodice.

Out of the two dress, I adore this one on her, as it has a very classic, uptown feel to it.

“How To Lose Friends And Alienate People” Premiere, London

Gillian Anderson dressed her baby bump with this striped Temperley London Fall 2008 gown.

The soon-to-be mum wore her gown, which had a red and black floral detail on the sides, with a black shrug.

Anna Popplewell loves a bit of red lipstick, and it works so well against her pale skin. She accessorized her black sequined check Armani dress with red peep-toes and a red clutch.

Such a cute grown-up look for the young actress.

Marchesa’s Spring 2009 collection, was typically filled with red carpet ready cocktail dresses and gowns, with Asian influences.

The colour palette was mostly white, black and gold with the odd pink dress here and there.

As usual the detailing on the dresses are exquisite, especially the strapless cocktail dress with teal embroidery and folds above, which I have mentally reserved for Cameron Diaz or Kate Mara.

Another dress that stood out, was the black dress with layers of tulle and lace, although the reason it stood out, is because it reminded me of the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2008 hand-painted ballgowns.

With the Emmy’s in 10 days time, I guess at least two pieces from this collection, will make it onto the red carpet.

Georgina Chapman was stunning beautiful, as always, wearing a black and dark pink strapless embroidered self designed dress, whilst business partner Keren Craig opted for an elegant ivory and black suit, with Louboutin heels.

Zoe Saldana also wore a strapless Notte by Marchesa cocktail dress, but hers was in baby pink, with a contrast black bow at the waist. She completed her look with black peep-toe booties.

Amanda Bynes last wore a Marchesa dress to the SAG Awards, so it is no wonder the young actress wanted to check out their new designs.

I am still praying for the day when Amanda discovers a new hair stylist.

3.1 Philip Lim’s Spring 2009
collection was full of chic ruffle jackets, slouchy pocketed pants, sweatshirt fabric minis dresses and woven-bodice crepe dresses.

There were a lot of great accessories presented like over-sized belts tied as a bow ♥, polka dot satchels and leather “flower petal” Louboutin’s that I am dying to own.

The colour palette was very neutral with dove greys, creams, taupe and blush pinks.

All in all this collection had simple wearable clothes, with added touches of fantasy.

Leighton Meester wore a pocketed Philip Lim shift dress with silver sandals as he arrived for the show.

Emmy Rossum 3.1 Philip Lim Fall 2008 fan pleat dress with Swarovski crystal embellishment on skirt.

This dress with a hint of 50s glamour, looks stunning on Emmy. Her hair was beautiful styled to match the feel of the dress.

March 21st, 2008

Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes wore this blue Herve Leger dress with a black waist band and straps, back in September last year when she arrived to the Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood event in LA.

Famous only because of sister, Khloe Kardashian wore the same dress this week, when she and her family attended the Hollywood launch of the second season of their show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” (Why it got a second season, I will never know).

Amanda wore black peep toes with her dress, whilst Khloe, sporting new side swept bangs, opted for gold strappy sandals.

Although I am loving Khloe’s new do, I feel that Amanda wore this dress better.
