31st FN Achievement Awards

Often referred to as the “Shoe Oscars,” the 31st FN Achievement Awards were held on Tuesday (November 28) in New York City.

Maria Borges: This was such a striking way to play the pretty-in-pink card, as the model’s Badgley Mischka Resort 2018 dress had a compelling sense of streamlined femininity with the addition of the sheer floral embroidery. She played up the footwear piece of the ensemble with her sassy Malone Souliers shoes.

Alexa Chung: Opting to wear a look from her ALEXACHUNG Fall 2017 collection, she offered a slim interpretation of the tuxedo. But, my favourite element was actually her bright-pink lip—even if it didn’t exactly fit the tux mood.

Hailey Baldwin:
I was surprised to see Hailey skip her signature hoop earrings here. Instead, she went for a slightly softer look in the draping of this baby-blue Fendi Fall 2017 design that still retained plenty of sultry appeal in its micro length with Fendi booties to top it off with another dose of attitude.

Alexa Chung In ALEXACHUNG – Tiffany & Co. Boutique Selfridges Birmingham Opening

Alexa Chung unveiled the Tiffany & Co. boutique at Selfridges on Thursday (November 16) in Birmingham, England.

We haven’t seen much of the designer/model in her own collection, but on this occasion she selected a pink taffeta sweetheart neckline dress from her ALEXACHUNG Fall 2017 collection.

I recently received a message telling me that my critiques were too harsh, so I’m going to sum up my feeling about the construction of this dress from the waist down in one word. YIKES.

The only thing I would really save here is the Tiffany & Co. jewels.

Alexa Chung In Preen – British Vogue’s December Issue Dinner Party

Alexa Chung joined Alicia Vikander to toast Edward Enninful’s first cover for British Vogue on Tuesday (November 7) in London.

You’d be forgiven for thinking Alexa’s frock was part of her own ALEXACHUNG collection considering the red ‘A’ stitched onto her dress, but this dress hails from Preen’s Spring 2018 collection, which was inspired by the novel ‘The Scarlet Letter’.

Some might not be too enamored by the chunky black boots styling of this pretty printed frock, but adding a boyish twist is not unfamiliar when it comes to Alexa Chung, plus they give the summery look a mild Fall reference which I found myself appreciating.

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead – Tiffany & Co. Christmas Windows Unveiling

‘Tis the season for holiday decoration, and Alexa Chung celebrated it in style at the Tiffany & Co. Christmas Windows unveiling on Old Bond Street in London on Monday (November 6).

Despite the festive occasion, Alexa was channeling the joys of spring in her rose-bedecked Emilia Wickstead Spring 2018 dress that increased its girly sensibility with the two bows at the waist.

I can only imagine the darker ankle-strap shoes were selected in an attempt to winterize the ensemble, but they just seemed out of place.

Naturally, Tiffany & Co. jewels wrapped up the look with plenty of sparkle.

ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show

PYTs flocked to the ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show held on Wednesday (October 18) in LA—and were naturally attired in the highly anticipated, flower-forward collaboration.

Zendaya: The one thing I would have changed about Zendaya’s vintage-mod, ladylike statement would be her footwear, as the light pumps seemed at a disconnect from the darker floral palette of the skirt. Otherwise, she was completely selling the retro vibe of the look–from bouffant hair to ankles.

Kirsten Dunst: Riffing on the silk pyjama trend, Kirsten’s pair of loungewear-influenced separates were bolstered by her heels and embellished handbag.

Kate Bosworth: I like how this printed frock celebrated the height of romantic femininity whilst also echoing Kate’s bohemian-loving side.
