2017 Baby2Baby Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more celebrities at the 2017 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 11) in LA, where Gwyneth Paltrow was honoured.

Jessica Alba: Even though she was wearing black, the actress was as glowing as ever. She dressed her burgeoning baby bump in a lace, form-fitted look from the Brock Collection Spring 2018 collection that brought plenty of sultry glamour to the event. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes completed the look.

Jennifer Garner: With an angelic approach, Jennifer wore a white Roland Mouret ‘Cheverley’ gown, which featured high-impact cape sleeves as a dramatic touchpoint.

Alessandra Ambrosio: I think we can all agree that this floral Ermanno Scervino Spring 2018 gown was a subtler take on the model’s favoured overtly sexy style. She accessorised the sweetly feminine look with Narcisa Pheres earrings and a Pasquale Bruni necklace along with the Lee Savage ‘The Space’ clutch.

Alessandra Ambrosio In Antonio Berardi – OMEGA Aqua Terra Collection Celebration

Alessandra Ambrosio hosted the OMEGA Aqua Terra Collection celebration on Tuesday (November 7) in Miami, Florida.

The model ensured that her OMEGA timepiece had every opportunity to be front and centre by wearing a one-sleeve dress from Antonio Berardi’s Spring 2018 collection.

We’re used to seeing Berardi take a more structure and sculptured approach, however for this look it appears he took some inspiration from the Elizabethan period with dramatic ruching and drapery. Yet his inimitably feminine approach to tailoring is still there for all to see.

Alessandra’s more delicate brand of red carpet dressing hasn’t gone unnoticed, so what do you think of her latest look?

Alessandra Ambrosio In Carolina Herrera – ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ LA Premiere

Alessandra Ambrosio struck a pose at the ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ LA premiere on Sunday (November 5).

The Brazilian beauty wore a Carolina Herrera Resort 2018 gown. The mix of black and white details presented an understated feminine charm.

I can see the appliqués being a divisive point, especially as there are so few black ones and the white ones get lost against the base fabric.

More successful was the red lipstick which brought some colour to the black and white look while nodding to the festive nature of the film.

2017 amfAR & The Naked Heart Foundation Fabulous Fund Fair

Natalia Vodianova’s annual Fabulous Fund Fair for The Naked Heart Foundation traveled to New York City for the first time in partnership with amfAR on Saturday (October 28). Guests did not shirk their costume duties, either, for the Halloween-themed bash that saw a range of extravagant outfits.

Natalia Vodianova: There was no danger of missing the Naked Heart founder in the crowd, as she was the life-size incarnation of a Jeff Koons sculpture in her Andrey Bartenev balloon-esque design, further amped up by green Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 boots.

Naomi Campbell: There was almost more dress in the supermodel’s headdress than in her actual metallic-laced mini from The Blonds Fall 2017 collection.

Izabel Goulart: The model may have been channeling a Frida Kahlo-like spirit, but her Christian Dior Spring 2018 sheer embellished confection was very much within her go-to sexy style. Chopard jewels completed the look that was on the Red Carpet Wish List for Diane Kruger.

ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

From ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California, we’ve seen the likes of Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a roundup of the rest of the gorgeous actresses who were in attendance.

Jessica Chastain: The vinyl Fashion Week trend didn’t go down too well with the majority, but Jessica put her graceful spin on the trend in Calvin Klein which is the most glamorous interpretation I’ve seen yet.

Margot Robbie: After a colourful week promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’, Margot opted for the simple elegance of Calvin Klein. I adore the sensuality of this look, plus the embellished sandals.

Zoe Lister-Jones: The Chinese influence of her gorgeous McQ Alexander McQueen floral dress is there for all to see. It’s the complementary styling of Irene Neuwirth and blue suede shoes which really perfected the look.

Irving Penn Exhibition Private Viewing Hosted by Vogue

A private viewing, hosted by Vogue, for the Irving Penn exhibition at the Grand Palais was held on Sunday (October 1) during Paris Fashion Week.

Adwoa Aboah: Taking a break from walking the runways at Paris Fashion Week, Adwoa posed in a Richard Quinn Spring 2018 look that offered an invigorating, happy mix of ditzy florals. You would think with so many bold, competing prints that this would translate as disjointed. But, on the contrary, I loved this look on Adwoa, and I also credit its success to her minimal approach to the styling, with a black sandal and red pout all she needed. Flower power, indeed.

Kylie Minogue: I think it’s safe to say that Kylie put this Alice McCall ‘More Than A Woman’ fringe gown to work for her—as it was made to be spun around. As fun as it was, I was a bit tassel fatigued and the muted, mauve-pink colour wasn’t my favourite for the vibrancy of the entertainer, but she attempted to bring a splash of vividness via her lipstick.

Dita von Teese: With a look that riffed on the field-of-poppies print from the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 Couture collection, Dita maximized proportions with this look. I have mixed feelings on the balloon sleeves, as they might be lumped into a costume-y circus category. But, the colours were striking in contrast to the black pencil skirt.

Alessandra Ambrosio In Rasario – ‘Dyson’ Zurich Film Festival Premiere

Alessandra Ambrosio swapped the glamour of Paris Fashion Week for the glamour of Zurich Film Festival on Saturday (September 30), where she attended the ‘Dyson’ premiere.

The model has experimented with some different styles this year, but on this occasion she stuck to tried-and-true sultry glamour.

Alessandra’s brand of glamour can be a bit OTT for some, so this simple, yet elegant Rasario black sequin dress will serve as a break from the norm.

I love the AS29 diamond earring and Gilan black rhodium and diamond bracelets, but this look was crying out for a strappy sandal.
