2015 InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more beauties (and one token lad) joined the mix at the 2015 InStyle Awards, held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday (October 26).

Miranda Kerr: Unfortunately, the flirty spirit of the supermodel’s Ulyana Sergeenko mermaid-inspired design was compromised by the unusual bodice and faux cutouts with white seam lines that turned the top half into something of an ice-skating costume. Jimmy Choo metallic sandals and a fun topknot rounded out the look.

Michelle Williams
: Channeling her inner rocker girl, Michelle donned an edgy Louis Vuitton ensemble that brought leather, laces studs, and embellishment to the party. Rather than opt for a black sandal, she kept the tough-chic theme going strong with her shoe-boots, messy hair and kohl-rimmed eye makeup. It may have been a bit much, but it all certainly translated more effectively than Selena Gomez’s Louis Vuitton effort.

Alessandra Ambrosio
: While Alessandra’s skin-baring side cutouts were real instead of illusion-lined, this Alexandre Vauthier Couture white plunge gown was just more of the same from the supermodel who never met a cutout she didn’t like. A Lee Savage clutch completed her typically sexy look.

Alessandra Ambrosio In Dsquared² – amfAR Milano 2015

Alessandra Ambrosio In Dsquared² - amfAR Milano 2015

Alessandra Ambrosio was also among the supermodel set that included Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum at amfAR Milano 2015 held at La Permanente in Milan, Italy on Saturday (September 26).

Strutting out a Dsquared² Spring 2016 flashy neon design, the Brazilian beauty stripped the dress down to its sexy solo frame removing the runway’s more quirky style message.

Instead, she accessorized in the language of Bulgari jewels and strappy metallic sandals paired with an exaggerated winged eye and a lively high ponytail for a sense of playfulness.

I’m sure I won’t be the only one who strongly sensed the Balmain undercurrent in this bold-shouldered, structured and chain-embroidered mini dress.

At this point, though, I was rather pleasantly surprised to see that her style offering on Saturday evening was not (a) black or (b) sheer lace.

Alessandra Ambrosio In J. Mendel & Alexandre Vauthier Couture – Unitas Gala & 2015 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Event

Alessandra Ambrosio In J Mendel & Alexandre Vauthier Couture - Unitas Gala & 2015 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Event

Alessandra Ambrosio has been showcasing her slasher-style while attending Unitas gala against Sex Trafficking on Tuesday (September 15) and the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Event on Wednesday (September 16) in New York City.

Unitas Gala: Even with cold-shoulders, keyholes, central-slits and cut-out sleeves; this J. Mendel crepe gown from the Fall 2015 collection still maintains a high level of refinement.

2015 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Event: While the same can’t be said for Alessandra’s Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown, you can’t knock the girl for wanting to showcase that rocking body at every available opportunity. I’m just glad it’s not another Zuhair Murad sheer gown. The look was styled with the popular Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ degrade pumps.

Alessandra Ambrosio In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini – ‘Spotlight’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Alessandra Ambrosio In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini - 'Spotlight' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Alessandra Ambrosio joined fellow model Hilary Rhoda at the 2015 Venice Film Festival premiere of ‘Spotlight’ at Sala Grande on Thursday (September 3) in Venice, Italy.

If there’s one thing to be said about Alessandra, it’s consistency. This is her third time in as many days to wear a sheer Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini gown.

While quite similar to her white see-through moment at the opening ceremony, this Fall 2015 number seemed marginally more appropriate for the red carpet, if only because of its darker, more formalized hue.

She clearly loves wearing such looks—and she works them to full advantage, beautifully showcasing the movement of the dress.

But are you ready for a break from the transparency?

Alessandra Ambrosio In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini – Venice Lido Beach

Alessandra Ambrosio In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini - Venice Lido Beach Pre-Fall 2015

Following the opening ceremony for the 2015 Venice Film Festival, Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted headed to Venice Lido beach on Thursday (September 3) in Venice, Italy.

The model wore yet another Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Pre-Fall 2015 gown, this one infinitely better than the one she wore on the red carpet.

I’m not only swept away by the pretty floral pattern, but also by the romantic silhouette enhanced by the V-neck and ruffled peplum.

Methinks this should’ve been her red carpet look, however, this also works well for an impromptu beach photo op.
