Aja Naomi King In Pamella Roland – ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv) Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Aja Naomi King made her second appearance at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv)’ this evening (May 10).

Back with a bang, the actress was breath-taking in rich red Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2018.

Lavishly detailed, this gown proves that elaborate embellishments don’t have to be a must at Cannes.

I love how the tiered ruffle trims are both romantic and seductive all at the same time.

Aja Naomi King In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

‘How to Get Away With Murder’ star, known as law student Michaela Pratt on the Shondaland drama, joined L’Oreal Paris as its newest spokeswoman for the beauty brand back in November, and tonight (May 10) she made her Cannes Film Festival debut.

And she did so in style wearing Zuhair Murad Spring 2018 Couture.

I love how the intricately detailed bands of sequins and beads elevate this piece to next-level status, while the elegant floor-sweeping silhouette evokes a feeling of Old Hollywood glamour.

Were the earrings too much with this dazzling gown?

Normally I would say yes, but for your Cannes debut you gotta go big.

L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration

The L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration took place in New York on Wednesday (December 6) with plenty of familiar faces for the beauty brand, alongside the newest ambassador, Camila Cabello.

Elle Fanning: Some might be longing for some colour, but the love wintery vibe of Elle’s Miu Miu Spring 2018 patterned dress with festive miniature baubles and snow-like wool accents adding a cute twist to this playful piece. The look was styled with Erdem x H&M earrings and Miu Miu pumps

Camila Cabello: The young singer is still experimenting when it comes to her style, however, my feeling is this style of look is way too mature. I would’ve adored this on Helen Mirren, but it doesn’t work for the youngster. Narcisa Pheres earrings rounded out her look.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held on Saturday (October 14) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a number of stars in attendance for the day of sport.

Tracee Ellis Ross: This look brought a big smile to my face, as I was immediately charmed by the Agnes B printed top and mustard-yellow Celine trousers. The star of the show was the Eric Javits hat, though, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Marlon’ shoes completing the typically quirky look. The shoes were funky, to be sure, but it was the Louis Vuitton clutch that I could have done without.

Camilla Belle: This Adeam Resort 2018 asymmetrical frock offered up such a delicately feminine vibe, with her pink lip echoing that spirit. Her block heels ensured there would be no sinking into the grass.

Kate Hudson: I loved the playfulness of this candy-stripe Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 wide-leg jumpsuit, all tied up with its girlish bow. But, I would have been fearful that Kate would trip on the pants that puddled on the ground. The giant rosebud earrings were such fun as was the Clare V. ‘Petite Alice’ tote.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet Red Carpet Roundup

Elisabeth Moss wasn’t the only one in attendance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet on Wednesday (August 2) in Beverly Hills, California, as more stars joined her on the red carpet.

Jenny Slate: Jenny has had an amazing run lately, so I had high expectations for this outing. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed a bit with her presentation of this Etro outfit that was styled with metallic Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Penelope Pearl’ heels and Ileana Makri jewels. The top half was reminiscent of a bathrobe with her bra peeking through, and it seemed a clunky pairing to the diagonal stripes in the skirt below. Her bedhead hair and makeup also seemed to be mere afterthought.

Alison Brie: Alison’s fringed, metallic Thai Nguyen Atelier Pre-Fall 2017 dress presented as far more polished effect with plenty of sultry, modern flapper appeal. Eva Fehren jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels completed the look.

Aja Naomi King: There was nothing so significant about the silhouette of this effortless, boho-flowy Reformation dress, but its sunny, yellow colour was positively radiant on Aja.
