Agyness Deyn For InStyle UK March 2013

Agyness Dean InStyle March 2013

Model turned actress Agyness Deyn covers the March 2013 issue of InStyle UK, which was shot by London-based photographer Rankin, wearing a red-and-white Prada body with matching Chanel shoes.

He also captures the blonde, for now, beauty wearing a 3.1 Phillip Lim plaid dress, and a white Moschino dress with a white felt hat for the rest of her editorial.

Agyness talks to InStyle about the hard transition from model to actress, getting married to actor Giovanni Ribisi and moving to LA.

The March 2013 issue of InStyle UK is out now. Here are some extracts from Agyness’ interview.

On modelling: “For a long time, I was such a nomad. That was my life for so long. Doing shit like that. Being in a hotel, not knowing where you are. You could be in any country…”

On the differences between the worlds of acting and fashion: “I just found that acting is very real for me… rather than projecting something that’s unobtainable.”

On whether she moved to LA to work: “No, I came here for a change. Not really work. It’s just really chilled here.”

On what Giovanni has brought to her life: “I don’t know. I suppose you meet someone and you’re just like… you know. Obviously, if someone’s marrying someone, they’re bringing a lot of really good stuff… So…”

Agyness Deyn In House of Holland – 2012 Jameson Empire Awards

It has been a while since we saw Agyness Deyn, but she made a return to the red carpet for the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards in London on Saturday night.

The model/actress wore a dress by her designer bestie, Henry Holland.

Her red House of Holland Fall 2012 long sleeve red dress incorporated an embroidered purple houndstooth print with a typically quirky Holland twist as the print looked like space invaders.

Agyness is known for her forever-changing hair colour, which was blonde, side-parted and swept behind one ear on this occasion.

Red platform pumps, as presented on the runway, and sheer tights completed her look.

Who Wore Giles Better? Agyness Deyn or Victoria Beckham

Here we have a British supermodel and a British pop star-turned fashion designer, supporting British designer Giles Deacon.

Agyness Deyn was the first to wear this gunmetal grey Giles Fall 2009 dress when she attended the “Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party” last June.

We can see almost every inch of her legs in this ultra mini dress which she wore with black and white Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

Victoria Beckham loves this dress so much she’s worn it 3 times.

Firstly in a salmon colour during New York’s Fashion Night Out, then on a shoot for LG and most recently when she attended the Diane Von Furstenberg and Claridge’s party.

VB paired her dress with Brian Atwood ‘RZ’ thigh-high boots and a Lanvin Oulala satin clutch.

Even though Victoria’s had plenty of practice getting this look to work for her she wins because Aggie’s deep berry shade of lippie doesn’t work for me, nor did I like the bleach blonde do with the growing dark roots.

2010 Elle Style Awards – Agyness Deyn In House Of Holland

Straight Off The Runway Award
Agyness Deyn showed her support for BFF designer pal Henry Holland, by wearing one of the looks from his recent Fall 2010 presentation to the Elle Style Awards last night.

She told me she loved Henry Holland as a friend and that she’s a huge admirer of his work.

The leather black House of Holland Fall 2010 dress appeared to have pieces of blue carpet running around the dress, which the model pulled off really well.

I expected Agyness to be freakishly tall like Erin O’Connor, but she wasn’t as tall as I expected.

But I guess that’s because wasn’t wearing heels.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” New York Screening

I was slightly disappointed by Gareth Pugh’s Spring 2010 collection when I compared it to his amazing Fall 2009 and Spring 2009 collections.

Jessica Stam proves that I was wrong to judge so harshly, as she totally rocks this Pugh creation.

I didn’t know Stam could do edgy. I always have her down as a cutesy girl.

She wore her dress with the same runway open-toe lace up booties.

Excluding the tattoos, I really like Amber Rose wearing this orange Jil Sander sculpted dress which she has of course shortened.

The colour is fab against her caramel skin.

It looks like the sculpted part of this dress doesn’t quite translate off the runway.

When Katherine Jenkins wore this dress the sculpted panel also looked very limp.

I must say I love Alexa Chung’s navy blue taffeta Katy Rodriguez Fall 2009 dress.

She does love a poufy skirt.

I’m also really attracted to her animal print bag.

As usual despite her fame Kristen Stewart doesn’t have much to smile about.

I like the fact that she attempted to tame the hair.  It’s much better than some of the horrors she’s been sporting lately.

I love the olive colour of her Valentino dress, and the soft pleats but I just can’t get excited about her in this dress.

For the third time this promotion tour Kristen wears Sergio Rossi heels.

Ashley Greene wore a D&G Pre-Fall 2009 black and cream butterfly appliqué dress with a black sash tied to the waist.

Stunning as always.

Nikki Reed has very much been in the background on this promotional tour, the others seem to be taking the limelight.

The stunning actress stood out wearing a gold satin cocktail D&G dress with a gorgeous crystal neckline paired with Jimmy Choo strappy heels.

Agyness Deyn wore a very bewitching lace look.

The dress is interesting, but I don’t like Deyn with black hair. She felt more vibrant as a blonde.

Looks like Halloween came around twice this week.

First Leighton Meester, and now with Taylor Momsen.

What is it with these Gossip Girls?

After Taylor lighten up with the make-up and calmed down with the wannabee rock chick ensembles, the raccoon eyes are back.

I love her Dolce & Gabbana dress, on someone like Dita von Teese it would be amazing.

At 16 showing that much boobage feels a bit wrong.
