Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Collaboration Launch Party

No stranger to collaborations, Louis Vuitton has now partnered with pop artist Jeff Koons on a limited line of accessories launching in April 28. To celebrate this Masters capsule collection, a dinner was held in Paris on Tuesday (April 11), with a host of LV-clad lovelies in attendance.

Jennifer Connelly: With a nod to a softer, romantic mood, Jennifer let her hair down in this decorative brocade and lace frock topped with a feathery stole. The label’s signature patent booties brought back the edge we’d expect in a look from this actress.

Fan Bingbing: Fan wore the signature sheer asymmetry of this gown effortlessly, which we’ve seen in different variation on Sophie Turner and Janice Man. I just think it would have been better served by sleeker styling, as the handbag and earrings competed rather than complemented the dress.

Cate Blanchett: As per, Cate cut a striking figure. But, the tailored regality of the sculptural top disappeared a bit with the drop-crotch pants, which can be something of an acquired taste.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 Front Row

The ladies of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 front row made from an impressive—and impressively cohesive—showing at the Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday (March 7), with all donning surprisingly well-coordinated looks from the house of LV.

Michelle Williams: A power LBD if there ever was one, this look proved that there’s nothing monotonous about the sultry-sweet lines of a black leather dress edged up further by a sharp pair of booties.

Sophie Turner: Commanding a chic, warrior-princess mood, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress was also the ultimate fashion girl in this forward look. On paper, the furry vest, gathered leather skirt, and futuristic white boots would be strange bedfellows, but it works beautifully on Sophie.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress’s LV looks can be hit and miss. But she was at the top of her game with the sleek lines of this black dress accessorised by those striking white boots and graphic clutch.

Adéle Exarchopoulos In Louis Vuitton – ‘Les Anarchistes’ Paris Premiere

Adéle Exarchopoulos In Louis Vuitton - 'Les Anarchistes' Paris Premiere

Adele Exarchopoulos attended ‘Les Anarchistes’ Paris premiere held at UGC Cine Cite Bercy on Thursday (November 5) in France.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton look pairing as studded leather crop top from the Spring 2016 collection with trousers from the Fall 2015 collection.

While some might be scratching their heads at this combo, I love how trousers balance out the look.

The top is such a cool, effortlessly directional way to wear leather so she totally nailed this look for me.

Adèle Exarchopoulos In Louis Vuitton - 'Irrational Man' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Adèle Exarchopoulos attended the ‘Irrational Man’ premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

The French actress wore a Louis Vuitton gown which, judging from its brocade fabric and lace appliqué, hails from the Fall 2015 collection.

I love how this floor-length number is both sensual and elegant, while still maintaining Adèle’s cool-girl edge.

It would’ve made an even greater impact had she opted to stand and pose on the red carpet.

Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Resort 2016

The Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 show was held at a futuristic private residence in Palm Springs, California on Wednesday (May 6), where a list of pretties sat front row to take in the out-of-this-world affair.

Michelle Williams: The star of Louis Vuitton’s handbag campaign, the actress rather ironically didn’t carry a clutch here. Instead, she paired her tousled platinum locks with a whimsically printed, scallop-edge frock from the fashion house, toughened up by black colour-blocked accents and patent booties.

Zhang Ziyi: Combining feminine charm with mod edge, the actress was alluring in a Louis Vuitton colourful cropped jacket, laced in bright pink flowers, worn with a geometric tee and black petal skirt. Mismatched earrings and a heavy-duty cuff provided another layer of interest to the look with her bright magenta lip polishing it off in youthfully fun style.

Selena Gomez
: Going the way of tough-girl chic, the singer-actress rocked a Louis Vuitton lace-embellished, black leather dress with those ubiquitous black LV booties and a smoky eye to further ensure the edgy spirit of the look.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.
