Who Wore Lanvin Better? Gwyneth Paltrow, Chelsea Clinton, Abbie Cornish and Leslie Mann

It’s been a while since we had a 4 way on WWIB?

These four ladies have very different styles but they all fell in love with this Lanvin crushed ramie dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore the dress first when she showed the world she could actually sing at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville.

Bordeaux Brian Atwood ‘Eastwood’ booties and selection of gold necklaces completed her stunning look.

Chelsea Clinton wore the same dress a month later when walked the red carpet at The Clinton Foundation’s Millennium Network Event in LA.

She opted for a more demure approach to this look adding opaque tights and Brian Atwood satin pumps.

Nearly two weeks ago Abbie Cornish donned her dress when she attended the New York Premiere of “Limitless.”

Stuart Weitzman black satin ‘Femina’ peep toe pumps, a black VBH clutch and Broken English gold jewelry to her look.

Despite this dress being worn 3 times before, that didn’t deter Leslie Mann.

Last week she added Louboutin’s to her dress whilst attending the “A Night at Sardi’s” benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association in Beverly Hills.

Gwyneth wins for me as she’s the only one to step out of the box and opt for shoes that weren’t black. I also prefer her runway version which has a deeper plunge. The other three wore the commercial version.

You can buy this Lanvin dress from Net-A-Porter US, Net-A-Porter International and Luisa via Roma.

Abbie Cornish In Lanvin – “Limitless” New York Premiere

Abbie Cornish attended the premiere of her new movie, “Limitless” earlier this week in New York City.

She opted to wear a Lanvin black crushed ramie blend dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

The neckline of her commercial version of this dress doesn’t plunge as deeply as the models.

You may remember that Gwyneth Paltrow wore this same dress when she performed at the CMA Awards, but hers had the deeper plunging neckline.

Abbie added Stuart Weitzman black satin ‘Femina’ peep toe pumps, a black VBH clutch and Broken English gold jewelry to her look.

Between the modified neckline and Julie Andrews hairstyle I’m not excited about this look at all.

Abbie Cornish In Elie Saab – 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Abbie Cornish looked breath-taking at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night.

Like Florence Welch, the Australian actress is a huge fan of Elie Saab.

Abbie’s divine Elie Saab gown was embroidered with sequins which is why she’s dazzling us on the red carpet.

I adore the silhouette. She knows how to give us effortless glamour.

Abbie sported marcel waves and carried a black clutch to complete her Old Hollywood red carpet look.

Abbie Cornish In Elie Saab – 2011 G’Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala

Abbie Cornish looked so very elegant as she walked the red carpet at the 2011 G’Day USA Los Angeles black tie gala at The Hollywood Palladium this weekend.

Abbie is not one to play it safe on the red carpet – remember her dramatic Toni Maticevski gown which she wore to 2009 Cannes Film Festival?

She loves big gowns and they don’t come much bigger or bolder than Elie Saab.

The Australian actress looked absolutely gorgeous wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2010 gown with a flowing train.

Her black and beige print gown with a lace and ribbon bodice also has subtle sequins and delicate buttons for added detail.

The elegance continued via her chic updo, flawless make-up, a simple black clutch and silver Vram by Grey jewels.

2010 The Tribeca Film Festival Awards Night – Abbie Cornish In Toni Maticevski

Last week Abbie Cornish attended the 2010 The Tribeca Film Festival Awards Night in New York City.

The Australian actress showed her support for Aussie designer Toni Maticevski.

Her look included a gold sequin draped Toni Maticevski Fall 2010 pencil skirt, a black Eryn Brinie top and a white vest.

This ladies and gentleman, is what happens when you don’t go head-to-toe like the runway.

I know many of you hate when celebs go head-to-toe, but Abbie would’ve pull off this look had she worn the grey blouse.

Even though I appreciate the fact that Abbie tried to make this look her own, nothing works together.

Toni Maticevski’s Fall 2010 collection was stunning.

It’s such a shame that it’s been presented to us this way.
