Get The Look: Taylor Schilling’s Simple, Flawless ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Panel Discussion Makeup

Taylor+Schilling+Orange+New+Black+Panel+Discussion+1jBUcvcdD2JlCelebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell worked with Taylor Schilling for Netflix’s ‘Orange is the New Black’ panel discussion.

She wanted Taylor’s makeup to be simple yet have a certain strength about it. So she kept her skin, cheeks and lips light, focusing on her eyes and brows.

Here’s how to get the look.

First she prepped Taylor’s skin with La Prairie ‘Platinum Rare’ Cellular Eye Cream and moisturized with Chanel Sublimage La Crème Texture Suprême.

Evening out her skin tone with Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup SPF 15, she then lightly powdered with La Mer ‘The Powder’.

She added a little colour to the cheeks using Tom Ford Beauty Cheek Color in ‘Love Lust’.

Georgie wanted Taylor’s brows to be really structured and groomed, so she used Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in ‘Taupe’, extending her brows slightly to really open up the eye and elongate the eye area.

On Taylor’s eyes she first applied Bobbi Brown eye shadow in ‘Bone’ all over the lid so she had a smooth even colour.

MAC Fluidline Eyeliner Gel in ‘Macroviolet’ was used to create a cat eye and then she went in with Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in ‘Amethyst’ to make it a deep rich plum, blending it up ever so slightly to get a smudged effect. She finished off the eye with one layer of YSL Faux Cils Mascara in ‘Black’ and one layer of YSL Faux Cils in ‘Deep Purple’.

Georgie finished off Taylor’s look with Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in ‘Satisfaction’.

The Weinstein Company Presents "THE GIVER" At Comic-Con 2014Celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson and celebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado worked with the beautiful Odeya Rush for ‘The Giver’ press line at Comic-Con International last week.

First we will discover how Beau created her makeup, especially those smouldering eyes.

Beau began by applying Chanel Sublimage Eye Creme and Tammy Fender Moisturizer.

He next used L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid and M.A.C. Select Cover Up, and set with La Mer Translucent Powder.

On Odeya’s cheeks, he applied NARS Blush in Deep Throat.

As mentioned above, the eyes are the focus of this look so he used Laura Mercier Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Alloy and Chanel Tissé Gabrielle Les 4 Ombres to create the smoky eye, finishing with Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara.

Cervando whipped those long brunette tresses into perfect shape.

He began by wetting Odeya’s hair and applying Bumble and Bumble Straight Blow Dry Cream from root to tip, combing through to distribute evenly. He further applied Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Protection Oil midway through the hair to the ends to add shine and flexibility.

Then, he started blow drying the hair starting with the front and sides using a medium-sized Ibiza Round Brush to smooth it out. Then he worked his way to the back and went through all of the hair once again with a Mason Pearson Flat Brush to create a straighter look.

Next, he used a Harry Josh Flat Iron, working his way from the bottom to the top of the hair for shine control and a sleek finish.

He sprayed Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Shampoo through the hair to suck up any oil and give the hair texture, and also sprayed Serge Normant Meta Sheer Dry Finishing Spray through the hair to keep it manageable.

Phyto Matte Texturizing Paste was added on the top and around the hairline to tame flyways and shape the hair around the face.

For the finishing touch, he sprayed the hair with Frederic Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray to give shine and hold the hair in place.

Get The Look: Megan Fox’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards Flawless Makeup

Megan+Fox+Arrivals+Nickelodeon+Kids+Choice+KmYkrZA7fcVlCelebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder worked with Megan Fox for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards.

When it came to Monika’s inspiration, she said “I wanted Megan to look as young and fresh as possible. This is a great summer look and I was really adamant about using just the right shade of coral on the lips”.

Here’s how to get the look.

Monika started off by applying a really thin layer of La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation in Honey Beige all over with the Beauty Blender, defining the brows with an Anastasia Brow Wiz Brunette pencil and adding just a bit more colour to them on the outer corners.

Placing importance on not using any harsh lines on her eyes, wanting very soft, natural eye makeup with some shimmer, Monika started off by applying Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in Impulsion all over the eyelid before using Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Amethyst on the upper and lower lash line.

Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Kalahari was applied to the crease to add some definition, with a few coats of Lancome Definicils in black and a few Kiss Lashes in Short on the outer corners lash line.

On Megan’s cheeks Monika used Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer in Film Star Bronze and Glow to define her cheekbones, plus a dab of Charlotte Tilbury Blusher in Ecstasy on the apples of her cheeks and Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer in Film Star Bronze and Glow on the upper cheekbone, bridge of the nose and under the eyebrow.

To create that perfect pout, Monika applied coral Chanel Rouge Allure in Pimpante #90 directly to the lip out of the bullet with no lip liner.

Get The Look: Judy Greer’s ‘Married’ LA Premiere Summer Braid & Rich Red Lip

Get Judy Greer's 'Married' LA Premiere Summer Braid & Rich Red Lip

Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell and celebrity makeup artist Tamah Krinsky worked with Judy Greer for the premiere of FX’s new series ‘Married’ this week.

Here’s how they created her gorgeous red carpet look.

HAIR

Gregory started with Kevin Murphy Resort Spray applied to Judy’s damp hair and then he blew it out with an Ibiza round brush before applying some Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel to the ends of Judy’s hair.

Next, he parted the hair down the centre and pinned up the crown section to braid last.
Then he French braided each side back and fastened the end of the braid with a clear elastic before braiding the crown section (just a regular braid, not a French braid). He then pulled out a few pieces around the face and loosened each of the braids and roughed them up a bit.

After spraying more Kevin Murphy Resort Spray, Gregory pinned the side braids into two low buns and connected them with the crown braid to complete the look, which was finished with Kérastase Laque Couture spray.

MAKEUP

Tamah likes to keep things light in summer, even for a red carpet, so the inspiration for Judy’s look came from her lovely tomato-red Jimmy Choo clutch.

Both Tamah and Judy thought the pop of red was a great accessory, and who doesn’t love a red lip?

To balance, Tamah gave Judy what she likes to call her ‘summer smoky eye’, giving the eyes definition but staying away from dark colours. To complete the look Tamah warmed Judy up with a little bronzer as opposed to blush. It is summer after all!

Here’s how to get the look.

Eyes: Tamah started by applying a thin layer of Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow in Flatter Me with a fluffy brush to keep it sheer. Next, she used a touch of the top and bottom left shadows from the Dior 030 Incognito Eyeshadow Quad. Then she used the bottom right as a liner under the lower lash line. She finished off the eyes by applying Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in black directly to the upper lash line, topping it off with Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara in Black.

Cheeks: Using a touch of Make Up For Ever 033 Dark Antique Pink as a base, she topped with Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Medium 2. Tamah then applied the bronzer with a medium-sized fluffy brush – preferring one that is angled for bronzer. She then applied this to the cheeks and swept it over the bridge of the nose, where the sun would naturally bronze.

Skin: Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Foundation in 113 was applied as foundation and concealer, followed by Laura Mercier Translucent Powder to set.

Lips: Tamah used NYX Butter Lipstick in JuJu Amulette and MAC lip liner in Redd to set the lip line.
