Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Whilst Cheryl Cole was scrapping like a back-street alley cat, Dannii Minogue was class personified on Saturday nights X Factor.

The Australian judge wore a warm chocolatey Gucci Pre-Fall 2010 halter dress with a gold necklace detail.

I would’ve been tempted to add a gold belt to this dress, but the dress worked perfectly without it.

Her effortless grown up style continues to impress. There is nothing try hard about Dannii.

Her look was accessorized with Annoushka earrings which totally perfected the look, plus a Talisman Gallery ring and Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

I want to focus on fashion, but last night on the X Factor Cheryl Cole proved that despite all the designer clothes, the L’Oreal contract and the best efforts of her PR team to make us forget about the Cheryl Tweedy who attacked a toilet attendant, she still has no class.

I lost total and utter respect for her when she used the show to try to publicly humiliate Wagner over some false media story in the Mirror of all papers. Like it’s the holy bible of truth.

She reminded us that the show isn’t about the contestants vying for a £1 million recording contract, but that the show is ALL ABOUT HER.

She needs to count her blessing because she can’t sing and she did get lucky, so she needs to climb down from her high horse and get over herself.

You can read her embarrassing attack on Wagner here.

As for what she wore on Saturday night I think Julien MacDonald summed up my feelings on her style this week when he allegedly said to her, “Who are you trusting and who are you working with? What are you thinking?” To which she allegedly ran off crying.

Truth hurts. Allegedly.

Cheryl’s lost her mojo. She doesn’t care anymore and this “Dancing On Ice” costume proved that.

I can’t wait for the public apology tonight which will be scripted to perfection by her PR team.

Thanks to High Heel Confidential for identifying Cheryl’s dress.

Cheryl Cole loves black this season of X Factor.

If it wasn’t official before, it is now.

Tonight the judge wore an Editions by Georges Chakra Fall 2010 gown which is sold exclusively at Dia Boutique.

The black gown had a very sexy plunging keyhole neckline with a sheer panel, a thigh slit which she showed off à la Blake Lively and an open back.

I love the flowing chiffon skirt and the beaded details on the waist.

I think she worked the gown quite well, but lets talk about the elephant in the room.

The hair.

I think we all saw the hair before the dress.

It made me think of one of the female characters from the game ‘Street Fighter’, but on Twitter they’re saying she looked like Minnie Mouse.

It’s nice she’s doing something different with it.

I’m still very much baffled by it, but I surprisingly didn’t hate it.

I guess it’s a case of ‘Be careful what you wish for’.

Brian Atwood Balleto platform sandals and di Grisogono jewels completed her look.

If you thought that Dannii Minogue was wearing Dolce & Gabbana on tonights X Factor I don’t blame you because that was also my first assumption.

Dannii actually wore a blue and black leopard print fitted dress by New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead.

The dresses have a similar leopard print, plus Dannii has worn Dolce & Gabbana twice already this season.

Dannii may have dialed down the glamour from last night, but she still looked very stylish and sexy in her fitted long sleeved dress which she paired with black Christian Louboutin pumps, a Jenny Packham ring and Garrard earrings.

Goddess.

Dannii Minogue looked like a beautiful Grecian goddess last night on the X Factor.

This has to be my favourite look from the X Factor judge. It really took my breath away.

She wore a white draped asymmetrical gown by Australian designer Carla Zampatti.

Dannii really glows in looks from her motherland.

I couldn’t fault a thing.

Everything was perfect from her hair, to her dress, to her nude Sergio Rossi heels and let’s take a few moments to drool over her Annoushka earrings which matched her Stephen Webster ring.

This is my first contender for BDOTW.

She was so graceful and elegant I can’t gush about this look enough.

On Saturday night, the first word that came out of my mouth when the screen went back to reveal the X Factor judges was, “Finally.”

Finally Cheryl looked gorgeous wearing a Roberto Cavalli champagne coloured beaded gown.

This picture isn’t quite doing her justice, but this is the most glamorous we have seen from the judge in 6 weeks.

The strapless gown looked stunning on screen. I was surprised to read comments on twitter saying the dress was too tight and that she was spilling out of it.

I don’t see that.

Stunning di Grisogono jewels and a bejeweled poppy completed her much improved look.

Was this an improvement for you?
