As much as I’m selling to you that Cheryl Cole is moving away from her WAG image, you guys just ain’t buying it.

This week Cheryl was spotted back in London to judge the X Factor bootcamp auditions at the Hammersmith Apollo.

We’ve seen her in Milly, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Tibi, but this time she opts for a very sophisticated Vanessa Bruno sleeveless dress.

I love the rich aubergine colour, the fit, the dart detailing and as much as it pains me to admit it, I even love her sheer tights as they add an air of elegance to her look.

With her hair skillfully teased her look is completed with a pair of her favourite brand of heels – Rupert Sanderson.

Are you convinced yet?

Her dress is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter International site for £265.02/€325.23.

Emma Bunton arrived at Cheryl Cole’s 26th birthday celebrations at Vanilla Club in London earlier this month with her baby father Jade Jones.

She wore a black short sleeved shirt buttoned down exposing a hint of her bra, with YSL Trib Two pumps and a Tibi bow front mini skirt.

A few days later at the X Factor Manchester auditions Cheryl Cole appeared to have taken some style tips from Emma.

She wore the same skirt with a white buttoned down shirt, and purple neon patent Rupert Sanderson Delta heels.

I guess it was a case of Emma nudging Cheryl’s memory that she also had this same skirt in her no doubt large closet.

Cheryl wins this for me, mostly because of the fierce heels, but secondly I prefer a white shirt with this skirt.

This skirt is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter US site for $255, or the Net-A-Porter International site for £195/€298.20.

Chloe Sevigny rang in the New Year with style as she co-hosted a party with TI at Gansevoort South in Miami Beach, Florida last year.

I don’t go crazy about Chloe Sevigny like most people do, but I did love her in this Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 ensemble.

The look – minus the obi belt – was a complete copy of the runway look from the maroon sheer top to the skirt to leopard print clutch to the Spicy heels.

Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday, but that didn’t mean she had a day off work. She was in Birmingham judging contestants for the X Factor.

We’ve seen Cheryl’s style change dramatically since joining the show. Gone are the tacky WAG looks for a sleeker more polished look.

She opted to just wear the skirt from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection with a purple popped collar shirt and brown metallic Louboutin’s.

I admire Cheryl for breaking up the runway look, but as a result the skirt really looks out of place with the rest of her look so Chloe wins this for me.

I’m over the moon excited that X Factor auditions have started, because it means we can get a regular peek in to Cheryl Cole’s closet, and marvel at how her hair stays so voluminous.

She arrived in Glasgow for the first auditions wearing an Alexander McQueen top, Alexander Wang black leather pants, and Rupert Sanderson black pumps.

Last year we saw her on the show wearing Matthew Williamson, Tibi, Julien Macdonald, Luella, and Krystof Strozyna.

According to Grazia, she has been seen stocking up on labels such as Maje.

We should look foward to seeing these Maje pieces in the early auditions.

Danni Minogue arrived in Glasgow with a brand new shorter hair style, sporting an embellished knitted dress.

Danni wore lesser known designers last year, and I’m sure she will stick to that same formula this time around.
