Worst Dressed Award
The second I saw Elizabeth Moss I wondered why she would wear an asymmetrical gown with that stunning necklace.

But it appears that the jeweled neckline is built into her Grecian inspired Reem Acra taupe gown.

Between the creases and the draping I just couldn’t love this gown.

Tried To Love It, But Couldn’t Award
I loved this Bottega Veneta Fall 2009 gown on the runway, but I don’t think it works on Leighton Meester at all.

She’s normally edgy on the red carpet, and I agree this is not the place to go edgy but I was just bored by her look, and she looked really bored on the red carpet too.

The only thing I like here is her Bottega Veneta clutch, as her hair and make-up is pretty awful too.

Most Disappointing Award
Kyra Sedgwick is always stunning on the red carpet, but I found it very difficult to love this L’Wren Scott Spring 2010 pink dress.

Kyra and L’Wren Scott often work very well together, but I really didn’t like the pink, nor the embellishments.

It felt too cutesy for a grown woman.

Should’ve Worn A Gown Award
Nothing appealed to me with regards to Mary Louise Parker dress.

Firstly I would’ve preferred her in a gown. Secondly I don’t like the bow on the hip and lastly the two-tone purple is hideous.

Worst Dressed Runner-Up Award
Padma Lakshmi was so close to being voted worst dressed. I just hated that red floral detail on the hip.

It was so unnecessary. Despite that it was a pretty boring Badgley Mischka gown anyway.

Least Flattering Award
I would be surprised if Sarah Silverman ever makes it onto the Best Dressed list, but this gown had great potential.

It’s a great colour on her, but the gown adds at least 15ins to each side of her hips.

How is this a good thing?

Pukey Pink Award
What’s with all the pukey pink gowns on the red carpet.

I know it’s a fresh summer time colour, but I really didn’t think it looked good on Toni Collette.

She is usually one to watch on the red carpet, but the look fails to impress me.

Worst Dressed Award
Amber Rose wore a snake-print long sleeved jumpsuit.

Enough said.

Most Predictable Award
After sitting front row at the Herve Leger show earlier this afternoon in a pink Herve Leger dress, Amanda Bynes doesn’t let us down.

LBD + Trib Two’s = yawwwwnnnnnn.

Most Ill-Fitting Award
Beyonce Knowles is wearing a pretty dress, but the skirt looks way too tight. The detail on the front is only adding to this problem.

What is it with Britney and Beyonce and this need to wear clothes that just don’t flatter.

Worst Brand Ambassador Award
I know Christopher Kane is really hot right now as we’ve seen similar versions of this black tulle skirt with velvet spiral trim in the past week. But shouldn’t Whitney have used this opportunity to promote her own debut collection she presented just 2 days ago?

Just asking.

It’s Lauren Conrad Collection all over again.

I Tried To Love It, But I Can’t Award
I didn’t like this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 dress the first time we saw it on the red carpet, and Jennifer Lopez does nothing to change my mind.

I love that she’s not being predictable, but I’ve never liked this dress.

The singer pairs her dress with Christian Louboutin peep-toe lace ankle boots, with a leopard print heel.

Oh The Irony Award
Ashley Greene was the fashion correspondent for the night, which I found totally ironic considering how bad I thought she looked.

She arrived wearing this D&G gold skirt and a black strappy corset with ruffled edges, but later changed into a worse red skirt which bunched up like Beyonce’s.

I also really hated her gold skirt white clutch combo.

Ashley has to be the worst fashion correspondent ever, as she only asked Taylor Lautner what he was wearing despite interviewing Jennifer Lopez and Leighton Meester.

Worst Hair Award
Why do I always get a sense that Lauren Conrad just isn’t trying?

The dress is pretty if you like middle of the road on the red carpet, but the hair is just atrocious.  It ages her dramatically.

Worst Balmain Award
Despite us all laughing at Pink and Shakira’s expense for wearing the same Balmain dress on the red carpet tonight, Pink didn’t do this dress any justice.

For me it makes her look even more boxy.

Worst Dressed Award
I’m not sure who designed Megan Fox’s dress, but by looking at it I would guess it’s been modified to be way shorter than intended.

The material is interesting, but I would have preferred her heels to be a lighter colour.

The only plus side here is that her make-up artist has finally found the right shade of foundation for her.

UPDATE: The dress is YSL. Shocking no?

Most Predictable Award
Well, well.

No prizes for those of you who would’ve predicted Amanda Bynes would wear a Herve Leger dress, black pumps and style her with a center parting.

Why? Because this is what she does time after time.  Some would call it her signature look.  I would call it uninspiring.

If she was a clock you could set watch by her.

Nice Dress, Shame About The Hair Award
This was one of my favourite dresses from the Adam Fall 2009 collection.  It’s cute, heavily embellished, sassy and edgy at the same time.

So imagine my horror to see Jennette McCurdy had teamed her fabulous dress with mum hair.

Most Disappointing Award
I knew it.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before Kim Kardashian did something drastic after her break-up with Reggie Bush.

The formerly raven haired star teased us back in April wearing a blonde wig, but unfortunately this is the real deal as Kim has opted for a lighter blonde ‘do.

My disappointment starts with the fact that Kim’s gorgeous dark locks is the one thing that made her stand out in LA .

I’m sure it will eventually grow on me.

The star picked a white Stella McCartney Spring 2009 plunging dress with gold Gucci Iman heels to show Mr Bush what he is missing.

De Ja Vu Award
I’m sorry but just because she’s Britney Spears and she’s made a comeback, it doesn’t mean I will automatically like this look.

For me the problem remains the same. Ratty hair extensions and mini dresses that just don’t flatter.

Her LBD is by Roberto Cavalli, with Jimmy Choo ‘Gesture’ sandals.

Worst Hair Award
Someone call pest control, there’s a rat on Rumer Willis’ shoulder.

The only good thing about Rumer’s hair is that she’s going darker, but the style I really dislike.

I’ve understood those backward plaits.

Rumer arrived wearing a LBD with an embellished bodice and black satin Casadei pumps.

I Am 17, Going On 50
There is something about Selena Gomez’ look these days that hasn’t been sitting well with me lately.

Her Baby Phat dress is a gorgeous lilac colour, but the hair ages her.

Hopefully she’ll get back into her teen groove again soon.

I Don’t Think I Will Ever Like Her Style Award
Miley Cyrus wore a shimmering Haute Hippie black sequin mini skirt, with a white Hanes tank that was light enough for me and the world to see her bra.

If that wasn’t bad enough she over accessorized making a simple look appear way too busy.

She later changed into a Jenny Packham Fall 2009 embellished dress with a fringe hem which is stunning, but as always there’s something about Miley that just brings down the whole look and makes it look bad.

Worst Dress Award
We’ve seen this Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2009 dress on Anne Hathaway and a sequined version on Amber Valletta. Both were beautifully styled.

Fabiola Beracasa decided to wear her blue snake-skin dress with a feathered concoction to add more dimension to her look, plus suede purple booties and a crazy updo.

Not a good look. In fact she looks quite scary.

You Can’t Wear Those Boots With That Dress Award
What was Agyness Deyn thinking?

She was wearing a pretty nude covered in gold sequined Anna Sui dress but it all falls apart the second she opted for those Marc by Marc Jacobs biker boots.

And just to stick a further nail in the coffin, she opted to wear a leather biker jacket.

I hate this schizophrenic style off dressing. You’re either wearing a cute sequined dress with strappy heels, or you’re a biker chick.

Pick a lane and stay in it.

This really hurts as I love Lake Bell.

Just a tiny pop of colour - even red lips - would have made a huge bit of different in this head-to-toe Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 look.

Looking as somber as she does doesn’t quite help either, plus I feel like ripping those sleeves off.

Nice Dress But…Award
Olivia Palermo wore a beautiful David Meister pink satin dress with an embellished panel on the bodice, and a peplum on the waist, but I’m perplexed as to why she would want to wear this kind of dress when she clearly doesn’t have the bust for it.

She looks like a child playing dress up in mummy’s clothes.

I’m thankful that she decided not to wear her favourite YSL Tribute sandals, instead she wore Topshop Passion Frill sandals.

Now would she please…oh please change that hairstyle.

Worst Posing Award
I couldn’t much focus on Tallulah Willis’ Calvin Klein Resort 2010 off-the-shoulder dress, because all I kept thinking about was pulling her shoulders back.

Bad posture just throws me.

Balmain With Tights Again? *eye roll* Award
I know I’m going to get lynched for this, but I just don’t understand Julia Restoin-Roitfeld’s obsession with wearing such short Balmain dresses then opting for tights.

The archetypal Balmain girl doesn’t wear tights imo. She has the confidence to walk tall in her mini dress, bold and sassy.

That being said I do love her black sequined dress and the Jessica Rabbit silhouette it gives her, but I think less bold runway version would have suited her better.

Fails To Flatter Award
Michelle Trachtenberg wore a very unflattering Behnaz Sarafpour Resort 2009 ensemble. She used to get it right all the time now she’s very inconsistent.

Worst Dressed Award
White sequin’s. I’ve never liked white sequin’s, as they cheapen any look.

I’m a huge fan of Miranda Cosgrove, she has such a fun loving approach to the red carpet, but on this occasion her white and gold sequined Sass & Bide Pre-Fall 2009 dress really lets her down.

Biggest Let Down Award
Looking at Cameron Diaz, I have only one question. What happened to you?

I was so looking forward to seeing Cameron upstage everyone at this event, as she usually blows us away. Remember her Luella polka dot mini?

Her look included deep rinse J Brand jeans, an animal print Matthew Williamson top, and blue suede ankle Giuseppe Zanzotti boots.

De Ja Vu/Christian Siriano Does Design More Than One Dress You Know Award
I’m so tired of seeing this Christian Siriano dress in various colours and lengths on the red carpet.

Christian has produced 2 collections, CariDee English could have really picked something else.

Despite all that, it’s a great mix of colours, but I hate her shoes.

Most Blah Award
Anna Faris doesn’t seem to get it right on the red carpet. Some times she’s too cutesy, others too casual, and on this occasion, blah.

No spark, no pizazz, no personality, and we all know she has plenty of that, which is why this is such a disappointment.

It’s Just Not Working Award
I’m always rooting for Rumer Willis, I don’t know why I have such a soft spot for her.

Maybe because I know she’s trying, but it just doesn’t seen to ever work, like with this black one-shoulder patchwork geometric print Emilio Pucci dress. Great dress, but she fails to make it work for her.

She needs to take a leaf out of Coco Rocha’s book, and go back to black.

Tights? In This Heat? Award
I love Sandra Bullock’s Abaeté Fall 2009 dress. The print reminds me off a midnight starry sky, but she can’t be seriously wearing tights.

I know I go on about tights, but they totally ruins this look for me.

I Just Can’t Take You Seriously Award
I think the title sums up how I feel about Lil Mama’s look.

Just Wish It Wasn’t Black Award
Hayden Panettiere wears such a cute Ungaro Spring 2009 dress, but come on girl, it’s summer.

Something in white, nude, or pink would have shown off her Cannes glow.

May 5th, 2009

I don’t hate Leighton Meester’s look as the Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 dress works. It’s the leggings that ruin this look.

Her hair is also a bit cutesy, for such an edgy look.

Bad, bad, bad. This is mostly referring to Tyra Banks’ her hair and make-up.

For me the only thing I like about this look is Emma Roberts’ red Atelier Versace Spring 2009 paillette covered mini dress.

It wouldn’t have hurt Emma Roberts do something different with her hair for once, and this dress deserved better shoes.

Emmy Rossum’s Carolina Herrera Fall 2009 gown feels way too old for her.

I love the open back, but the colour, and high neckline disappoints.

This Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 dress, is just not Molly Sims. The look feels really forced and unnatural to her usual style, so I’m immediately turned off by it.

It starts to fall apart with the make-up, which is way too harsh for Rachel Weisz, then it continues to go wrong with the yellow hem of her pink strapless Vera Wang gown.

I’m really disappointed.

As a Versace muse, I would have expected something more daring from Liz Hurley, and less bridal. She is wearing a stunning Elie Saab Spring 2009 gown, but for me, it’s not the right style fit. Emmy Rossum should have worn this gown.

May 5th, 2009

Madonna knows she looks bad in this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 ensemble, but kudos to her for not seeming to give a damn that she will be on every worst dress list today.

If Marc Jacobs paid me her kind of money to be a campaign girl, I would show up to this event looking this ridiculous, bunny rabbit ears and all.

Actually, thinking about it, I wouldn’t.

As much as I admire Rihanna for trying something new, this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 cropped pant suit, with voluminous shoulders doesn’t work for me.

Maybe I expected too much for her red carpet return.

When did being pregnancy become such a fashion crime?

Too much material has gone into covering Heidi Klum’s baby bump with this navy blue J.Mendel dress.

The cat’s out of the bag, why not show off the baby bump, in a tasteful way of course.

Oh Jessica Biel, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Thank you for not ruining this moment by wearing something half decent, which would force me to say something nice about you.

She totally ruins this Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless rise and fall gown, with her cheap spray tan that looks like its started to wash out with the rain, I can’t quite decide who looks worst, Jessica or that Clark Kent wannabee on your arm.

Sorry you lose.

Woooo tan much

It looks like Victoria Beckham and Jessica Biel shared the same booth.

This cute polka dotted custom Marc Jacobs dress, may have worked for me, if it wasn’t for the unnecessary train. I’ve always hated trains on a short skirt.

She just can’t get this red carpet thing right.
