Who Wore Burberry Prorsum Better…Maggie Gyllenhaal or Olivia Palermo?

Who Wore Burberry Prorsum Better Maggie Gyllenhaal or Olivia Palermo

Back in May, Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the New Museum Artist Dinner hosted by Burberry wearing a look from the British brand’s Fall 2014 collection.

The loose-fit keyhole hand-printed dress was matched with a rare punchy pink lip, patterned pumps and a gold clutch.

There was nothing rare about Olivia Palermo’s styling when she gave the look a second spin while attending the Chadstone’s Icons Of Style campaign event in Australia last month.

Adding the runway printed scarf, a yellow clutch and Aquazzura sandals, the look was instantly Oliviarized.

I deliberated for a while on this one: was the scarf too much on Olivia? Should I give this to Maggie because she made the look her own?

Eventually I went with the super-stylish Olivia, mostly for her addition of the yellow clutch.

Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better…Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing?

Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing

Sarah Paulson looked divine while gliding down the red carpet for the 2013 Emmy Awards dressed in a vibrant raspberry Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 plunging gown accented with a sweet bow detail.

Fan Bingbing wore the same gown earlier this week, opting for a more modest plunge while promoting Konka’s new LED Smart TV.

While I wish Sarah had worn her hair up, I do prefer her unmodified version of the gown so she wins for me.

Who Wore Torn By Ronny Kobo Better…Katy B or Sofia Vergara?

Who Wore Torn By Ronny Kobo Better Katy B or Sofia Vergara

Back in February, British singer Katy B donned a red Torn By Ronny Kobo ‘Ainsley’ open-stitch dress to the Brit Awards which perfectly showcased her figure.

It would be hard to upstage this dress, but both her flame-coloured hair and red pout come very close.

There was no upstaging Sofia Vergara when she wore the same dress last week to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet.

My choice wasn’t hard: this one goes to Katy B as I much prefer her accessories. Sofia’s clutch was too much of an eyesore for me.

Who Wore Chanel Better…Diane Kruger or Lily Allen?

Who Wore Chanel Better

Diane Kruger wore a beautiful Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 ensemble featuring a crisp white shirt with a small black bow, plus a collarless jacket and a sheer-hemmed skirt decorated with red, white and blue star appliqués to ‘The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden’ premiere during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival.

As always, the styling was on point, with her favourite Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a small black clutch completing the look.

Lily Allen wore the same look back in May while out to dinner at the Chiltern Firehouse.

Some might question, is that the same look? It is but Lily styled it differently, opting to wear the cropped blouse unbuttoned and going sans bow.

Did Lily’s more relaxed version of this look win you over?

For me it’s an easy win for Diane.

Who Wore Erdem Better…Clemence Poesy or Kim Raver

Who Wore Erdem Better Clemence Poesy or Kim Raver

While attending the MIPCOM party back in October 2013, Clémence Poésy wore an Erdem Fall 2013 midnight-blue sleeveless dress with a sheer insert at the waist, floral appliqués and light feather embroidery, which she styled with black bow-front Louis Vuitton satin pumps and a Valentino ‘Va Va Voom’ leather clutch with pyramid studs.

Back in May, Kim Raver gave this dress a second run out while attending the ’24: Live Another Day’ world premiere in New York City, keeping the styling simple with just black sandals.

While Clémence is perhaps going to be the more popular choice, I prefer Kim’s styling, so she wins for me.
