Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better…Alessandra Ambrosio or Alejandra Onieva?

Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better Alessandra Ambrosio or Alejandra Onieva

Alessandra Ambrosio selected a beautiful cherry-hued Alberta Ferretti high-low gown to wear to the ‘La Rançon De La Gloire’ Venice Film Festival premiere styled with a stunning Chopard necklace.

Alejandra Onieva wore the same gown while attending the Moët ‘Rose Moon Night Party’ held at the Casino de Madrid last month, keeping her neckline clear, slicking her hair back and applying a bold glossy red lip.

This is a hard one, because while I love Alessandra’s necklace, I dislike the shoes; and where I like Alejandra’s shoes, I dislike her hair.

In the end I couldn’t live with Alejandra’s hair but could just about live with Alessandra’s shoes, so she wins for me.

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better…Lily Aldridge or Noomi Rapace?

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better Lily Aldridge or Noomi Rapace

Lily Aldridge wore this sleek red velvet Emilio Pucci suit to the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates Icons by Carine Roitfeld event last month, styling her look with a sheer orange blouse.

The same look was barely recognisable when Noomi Rapace wore it in fuchsia-pink a few weeks later with a pink necktie blouse for the San Sebastian International Film Festival premiere of ‘Automata’.

The problem with Noomi’s look is that the suit was approximately two sizes too big. Even with the excessively long trousers, Lily made this look work for her.

Lily wins by a landslide.

Who Wore Delpozo Better…Fan Bingbing or Gugu Mbatha-Raw?

Who Wore Delpozo Better Fan Bingbing or Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Back in May, Fan Bingbing wore a gorgeous Delpozo Spring 2014 strapless printed gown while promoting her latest movie, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, before British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw donned the same gown while promoting her new movie, ‘Beyond the Lights’, during Toronto Film Festival.

This for me is a very easy win for Gugu.

Not only is her look crumple-free (unlike Bingbing’s), the gown doesn’t overwhelm her and falls elegantly to the floor, whereas Bingbing isn’t quite tall enough to pull off this look.

No wonder she loves those stacked heels so much.

Who Wore Balmain Better…Kim Kardashian or Victoria Beckham?

Who Wore Balmain Better Kim Kardashian or Victoria Beckham

For the Vogue Foundation Gala back in July, Kim Kardashian wore a Balmain Fall 2014 military-style look consisting of a woven top and leopard-print skirt. She has since gone on to wear the brand on several occasions.

Having seen Victoria Beckham wearing the same skirt earlier this week, it’s become apparent that Kim has shortened hers.

Victoria opted to keep her look much simpler, shunning the military aspects of the collection and styling her look with black accessories and of course her trademark shades.

For some reason I think this might be a close contest in the poll, but for me there is only one winner – VB.

Who Wore Christopher Kane Better…Diane Kruger or Lara Stone?

Who Wore Christopher Kane Better Diane Kruger or Lara Stone

Diane Kruger wore a Christopher Kane Pre-Fall 2014 dress with silver and cyan molecules cut from mesh and mirror appliqués which she styled with nude pumps while attending a press conference for ‘The Bridge’ back in July.

Lara Stone opted for the pink and silver version while taking to the red carpet with husband David Walliams earlier this month for the GQ Awards.

While Lara’s look was effortlessly styled with black peep-toes and a black clutch, I like Diane’s unexpected choice of nude on this occasion so she wins for me.
