Mischa Barton arrived at the British Academy Television Awards held at The Royal Festival Hall in London last April wearing a Osman Yousefzada Fall 2009 navy blue gown.

I fell in love with gold embellished turtle-neckline when I first saw this gown, so I wished at the time Mischa had worn her hair back to show off that detail to full effect.

The Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown has been front row at many shows this London Fashion Week, so she’s been taking in a lot of style tips.

At the 2010 Elle Style Awards last night she wore the same gown as Mischa Barton.

We thankfully got to see that stunning neckline with Sarah’s shorter hair, but unfortunately this picture is not doing her much justice as she looked much better in real life.

For taking a chance and experimenting with fashion and because everyone is bound to vote for Mischa, Sarah wins this for me.

When I first saw Toni Collette hit the red carpet wearing this Rafael Cennamo Spring 2010 gown at the 2010 SAG Awards, I wasn’t blown away.

I did love the gold and blush empire beaded bodice cascade gown, but I still don’t think it was quite right for the SAGs.

Last night at the 2010 Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina Awards, singer Paulina Rubio wore the same gown.

What I find very strange is that Toni appears taller and more statuesque, whereas Paulina looks short in the same gown which does appear to be modified.

For this reason I think Toni carries the look better, so she wins for me.

Actress and red carpet heroine Diane Kruger first wore this asymmetrical Marchesa Resort 2010 dress in red to the “Inglourious Basterds” premiere in Sydney back in August of last year.

Diane never fails to wow me on the red carpet and this bright red mini dress suits her fair colourings so well.

She has paired this Marchesa dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and a House of Lavande Italian bracelet, which is all the accessorising this dress requires.

I would like to have seen her hair completely off her shoulders though as the having it swept sideways like this throws the look off balance.

Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman then wore this dress in black to the launch of the new designers floor at Saks back in September.

Georgina looks stunning as always and I love hows she’s teamed this LBD with purple peep toes and a similar coloured clutch.

Such a tough decision but I think this one goes to Georgina for a great choice of shoe and wearing her hair off her shoulders.

Actress Blake Lively was one of the many guests at the HBO Post Emmy Awards party which was held in LA back in September.

Sporting a messy plait, Blake wore a sexy plunging Balmain paillette mini dress paired with black Jimmy Choo “Private” heels.

Alicia Keys wore the same dress last night when she performed with Jay-Z at the Brits Awards held in London.

Sporting a mop of tight curls, the beautiful singer paired her dress with black peep-toe booties.

Both looked great showing off their stunning figures and toned legs, so the only thing that can separate them is their hairstyles.

Blake’s Wang-inspired plait was a bit messy, so I give this win to Alicia.

Emily Mortimer first wore this Chanel dress from the Paris-Monte Carlo Pre-Fall 2007 collection to the “Costume Institute Benefit Gala” in New York way back in May 2007.

I think Emily looks really cute here and I like that she’s gone for a similar coloured shoe.

The gold of her belt was a nice bit of styling, as it really pops against the blue of her dress.

Leigh Lezark then wore this dress to Chanel’s “Fete D’Hiver Fall Gala” in November 2009.

I adore this dress on Leigh as I think she looks so elegant in this royal blue, yet it still reflects her edgier side.

I can’t understand why she chose to wear black pumps though. It seems like such an unthoughtful end to such a great outfit.

As Emily styled it better she wins for me.

Kelly Lim first wore this stunning floor length Fall 2009 Versace gown to the 12th Annual Shanghai International Film Festival back in June of 2009.

I love the low cut of this dress and think it shows of Kelly’s figure beautifully.

Kelly short hairstyle also really suits this look.

Blake Lively then wore this dress to the Emmy’s in September 2009.

I’m really pleased she pulled her hair back with this dress.

I also think the simple bracelet was a nice way to accessorise this look.

Brazilian actress Fernanda Lima then wore this dress to host “Oi Fashion Rocks” in Brazil in October 2009.

I love her blonde locks against this gown but do wish she’d worn her hair off her shoulders.

All three ladies look stunning in this gown but Kelly just takes the lead here in my opinion.

This was one of my favourite looks from Ali Larter last year.

The “Heroes” actress attended the 2009 Whitney Contemporaries Art Party And Auction in New York last year wearing this bone print Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2009 dress.

She added a stunning Erickson Beamon necklace with a large orange pendant to her plunging dress with padded shoulders.

Although I loved the dress, I hated the clunky heels.

Jennifer Lopez wore this same dress after she performed at LIV Nightclub in Miami.

She paired her dress with jewel encrusted Jimmy Choo “Quinze” sandals and a white clutch.

Both look amazing in this dress, but Jennifer’s Choo’s win this for me.
