Who Wore Gucci Better? Kate Bosworth or Anna Kendrick?

Thanks to JGV’s brilliant memory we have this who wore it better? moment.

A young, fresh faced Kate Bosworth was the first to wear this -then- fresh-off-the-runway Gucci Fall 2006 dress to the ‘Superman Returns’ London premiere.

11 years later, Anna Kendrick wore the same dress to the ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ LA premiere, taking an already sexy dress a few steps further with the Giuseppe Zanotti over-the-knee boots.

I have a feeling that Kate, who styled her look with Louboutins, will win this by a landslide, but I’m still gonna root for the boldness and unexpectedness of Anna’s look.

Who Wore Zoe Champion Better? Sonam Kapoor or Ashanti?

Sonam Kapoor brought Zoe Champion onto our radar when she wore this Spring 2018 colourful look to the Conde Nast Traveler property event in Mumbai two weeks ago.

Ashanti was also seduced by Champion’s pop art and clashing colours, as she wore the same look for an interview this week on People Now.

As much as I love Sonam’s lady-like styling, I adore the pink Louboutins Ashanti selected. The look instantly feels more harmonious.

Who Wore Attico Better? Kat Graham or Katy Perry?

Kat Grahm wore her sequin-striped Attico Fall 2017 dress back in August to the harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue cover party with Nina Dobrev, while Katy Perry lit up the streets of Manhattan last month while making her way to the GMA studios with her fellow American Idol judges.

Katy wins for me as I love that she added red pumps and because this style of dress fits firmly in her wheelhouse.

Kat’s attempts to make this super sexy was a tad off-putting. She should have let the dress shine – pun intended – naturally.

You can buy their sequin Attico dress from MATCHESFASHION.COM and Modaoperandi.

Who Wore Prabal Gurung Better? Laura Haddock or Nina Dobrev?

It’s very rare for Nina Dobrev to be on a “Who Wore It Better?” post, yet the actress wore the shorter version of this Prabal Gurung Fall 2017 white dress to the ‘Flatliners’ LA premiere three months after Laura Haddock.

For the ‘My Cousin Rachel’ London premiere, Laura opted to wear her look without the belt.

I like the look both ways as it suits each of their individual styles, but I love the edge the belt brings to Nina’s look so she wins for me.

Who Wore Christian Dior Better? Felicity Jones or Sofia Carson?

When it comes to Felicity Jones and Sofia Carson in this Dior Fall 2017 esprit d’ point gown, there’s not a lot in it.

Both kept their styling very simple. Both opted to line the gown, but Sofia didn’t modify the neckline.

For keeping the look closet to the runway Sofia wins for me.

Who Wore Halpern Better? Marion Cotillard or Katy Perry?

Marion Cotillard attended the Trophée Chopard Ceremony during Cannes Film Festival dazzling in a multicoloured Halpern Fall 2017 sequined look which qualified as the designers first major red carpet moment.

It was a great moment for us also, as we got to see Marion’s style evolve outside of Dior’s reigns.

Katy Perry wore the same look this weekend while presenting the VMAs; selecting the full coloured trousers rather than the half-and-half look presented on the runway.

Marion wins for me.

Even though I want to remove the Chopard necklace, I prefer her trousers. Katy’s look had too much of one thing going on.

Who Wore Daisy Better? Kendall Jenner or Nicola Peltz?

There’s something sweet, casual and youthful about this white Daisy broderie lace-up corset dress, which no doubt attracted both Kendall Jenner and Nicola Peltz to wear it this summer.

Kendall wore hers on one of her many outings in New York City with Stuart Weitzman ‘Clingy’ booties and a Fendi ‘Peakaboo’ mini bag, while Nicola was spotted wearing hers with Chanel pumps and a straw boater on vacation with Anwar Hadid in Saint Tropez.

I love the city chic styling of Kendall’s look, but Nicola’s feels more naturally thrown together, so she wins for me.
