Chloe Sevigny rang in the New Year with style as she co-hosted a party with TI at Gansevoort South in Miami Beach, Florida last year.
I don’t go crazy about Chloe Sevigny like most people do, but I did love her in this Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 ensemble.
The look - minus the obi belt - was a complete copy of the runway look from the maroon sheer top to the skirt to leopard print clutch to the Spicy heels.
Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday, but that didn’t mean she had a day off work. She was in Birmingham judging contestants for the X Factor.
We’ve seen Cheryl’s style change dramatically since joining the show. Gone are the tacky WAG looks for a sleeker more polished look.
She opted to just wear the skirt from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection with a purple popped collar shirt and brown metallic Louboutin’s.
I admire Cheryl for breaking up the runway look, but as a result the skirt really looks out of place with the rest of her look so Chloe wins this for me.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Selita Ebanks was the first to wear this Balmain Fall 2008 dress back in March to the Valentino The Last Emperor New York Premiere.
She totally blew me away in her sexy zipper lace mini dress which she paired with Givenchy t-strap heels.
On Sunday night the former member of Destiny’s Child LeToya Luckett wore the same dress at the 2009 BET Awards, with a pair of sky-high Alejandro Ingelmo woven slingbacks.
Her dress had been modified around the bust area to give her more coverage, so Selita wins this very easily for me.
Firstly because she looks better in the dress and secondly she wore better shoes.
LeToya hugely disappoints by modifying the dress. Just proving that she shouldn’t have worn it in the first place.
Can you image Kate Moss or Erin Wasson modifying a Balmain piece? Only if hell had frozen over.

Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester received a birthday surprise when she appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” back in April - it was her 23rd birthday on 9th April.
As she walked into the studio, Fallon had the entire audience join in the surprise as tons of confetti were released.
He wore a special birthday hat during the show whilst she wore a Marc Jacobs blue, black and yellow print dress with Christian Louboutin Differa heels.
Hilary Swank wore the same dress during the same month, when she arrived at the “Los Angeles Antiques Show opening night preview party” at the Barker Hanger at Santa Monica Airport.
The Oscar winning actress wore her dress with black open-toe sandals whilst carrying a black shoulder bag.
I predict Leighton will win this, but I much prefer this dress on Hilary. Leighton wears the matching self-tie too high up for my liking.

Jennifer appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman wearing a lilac Valentino Spring 2009 draped dress with a navy jewel encrusted waist belt.
Unlike most stars who arrive at Letterman, Jennifer opted to wear a coat over her gorgeous dress. Yes it was the middle of November and no doubt cold but if everyone else can arrive sans coat then so can Jennifer.
Kat DeLuna wore the same shortened dress when she arrived at the “Conde Nast Traveler Hot List Party” in New York City during April.
Like Jennifer the singer opted for black peep-toes with her dress.
Jennifer did look great on the Letterman show, but I have to give this to Kat as she seems more confident in her dress.

Kourtney Kardashian joined her sisters at the Clevelander Hotel for a party to celebrate the grand opening of their “Dash Miami” store.
The reality TV star wore a printed Matthew Williamson for H&M maxi dress, which she accessorized with a black clutch.
Estelle wore the same dress when she attended a H&M event to unveil “The Fashion Against AIDS Collection ” in New York a week later.
The singer dressed down her maxi by pairing it with a denim jacket.
Orange pumps and a black Chanel quilted bag completed the look.
Neither have the height to pull this dress off, but I prefer Kourtney’s dressed up look to Estelle’s dressed down look, so Kourtney wins for me.

Spanish actress Olivia Molina wore this black Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 strapless dress with a red floral print to the Malaga Film Festival.
Her hair kept was wild and wavy as she wore her dress with black open-toe booties.
South Korean actress Kim Ok-Vin looked radiant wearing the same dress with her hair style into a classy updo, when she attended her “Thirst” photocall during Cannes Film Festival.
She teamed her sleek and chic dress with gold and black criss cross sandals, gold jewels, and a black clutch.
Olivia tried to toughen up this dress with her wild hair and open toe booties. Neither worked for me.
Kim gave the dress the sophistication it deserved so she wins for me.

Miley Cyrus opted for this black and gold Marchesa Spring 2009 strapless dress when she walked the red carpet at the 2008 American Music Awards back in November.
The Disney stars gold dress with a black chiffon overlay draped across the dress was shortened from the runway version.
The look was paired with black satin Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, a gold necklace and a loose updo.
Georgina Chapman wore the same dress - as per the runway - with a pair of Christian Louboutin t-bar sandals and a Chanel bag, when she attended the Quintessentially Party For “Nowhere Boy” during the Cannes Film Festival.
I don’t like Miley’s modification, the way the appears too tight around the bust nor her necklace so Georgina wins for me.
This dress is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter International site for £1,720 reduced from £3,440 and €2,110.78 from €4,221.56 in the current sale.
