Who Wore Torn By Ronny Kobo Better…Katy B or Sofia Vergara?

Who Wore Torn By Ronny Kobo Better Katy B or Sofia Vergara

Back in February, British singer Katy B donned a red Torn By Ronny Kobo ‘Ainsley’ open-stitch dress to the Brit Awards which perfectly showcased her figure.

It would be hard to upstage this dress, but both her flame-coloured hair and red pout come very close.

There was no upstaging Sofia Vergara when she wore the same dress last week to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet.

My choice wasn’t hard: this one goes to Katy B as I much prefer her accessories. Sofia’s clutch was too much of an eyesore for me.

Who Wore Chanel Better…Diane Kruger or Lily Allen?

Who Wore Chanel Better

Diane Kruger wore a beautiful Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 ensemble featuring a crisp white shirt with a small black bow, plus a collarless jacket and a sheer-hemmed skirt decorated with red, white and blue star appliqués to ‘The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden’ premiere during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival.

As always, the styling was on point, with her favourite Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a small black clutch completing the look.

Lily Allen wore the same look back in May while out to dinner at the Chiltern Firehouse.

Some might question, is that the same look? It is but Lily styled it differently, opting to wear the cropped blouse unbuttoned and going sans bow.

Did Lily’s more relaxed version of this look win you over?

For me it’s an easy win for Diane.

Who Wore Erdem Better…Clemence Poesy or Kim Raver

Who Wore Erdem Better Clemence Poesy or Kim Raver

While attending the MIPCOM party back in October 2013, Clémence Poésy wore an Erdem Fall 2013 midnight-blue sleeveless dress with a sheer insert at the waist, floral appliqués and light feather embroidery, which she styled with black bow-front Louis Vuitton satin pumps and a Valentino ‘Va Va Voom’ leather clutch with pyramid studs.

Back in May, Kim Raver gave this dress a second run out while attending the ’24: Live Another Day’ world premiere in New York City, keeping the styling simple with just black sandals.

While Clémence is perhaps going to be the more popular choice, I prefer Kim’s styling, so she wins for me.

Who Wore Zooey Deschanel for Tommy Hilfiger Better…Zooey Deschanel or Taylor Swift?

Who Wore Zooey Deschanel for Tommy Hilfiger Better Zooey Deschanel or Taylor Swift

Zooey Deschanel wore a pretty, playful daytime-chic striped dress with multicoloured polka dots from her To Tommy, From Zooey Collection to the launch back in April, styling the look with toecap pumps and micro-dot tights.

Taylor Swift gave the dress another run out while on one of her many stylish exits from her New York gym, styling her look with a Dolce & Gabbana ‘Agata’ ladylike bag, signature red lip, Ray-Bans and a leather headband.

For the extra dose of glamour (even though it was a daytime look) and the styling, Taylor wins by a very long way for me.

Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better…Macarena Garcia or Darby Stanchfield?

Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better Macarena Garcia or Darby Stanchfield

Macarena Garcia took my breath away when she wore one of my favourite looks from the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2014 collection during the 2014 Malaga Film Festival.

Her layered green chiffon gown with tonal floral appliqués was perfected when styled with orange tasselled earrings.

‘Scandal’ star Darby Stanchfield wore the same gown a few months later while attending the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

While she didn’t opt for orange earrings, she did bring to this look the next best thing, red hair. As you know, red hair and a green gown has always been the perfect red carpet combination, so Darby wins for me.

Who Wore Chanel Better…Naomie Harris or Rita Ora?

Who Wore Chanel Better Naomie Harris or Rita Ora

Naomie Harris wore a colourful Chanel Spring 2014 multicoloured silk dress which resembles a paint palette and also features an asymmetrical strap and nipped-in waist to the Charles Finch and Chanel pre-BAFTA party back in February, which she styled with a pearl-accented Chanel cuff and black peep-toes.

Rita Ora rocked the same look a few months later for her guest appearance on 106 & Park, styling her look with Brian Atwood gold rope sandals and a selection of gold bangles.

Both let this dress down in the footwear department, and while I want to give this to the lovely Naomie, I think this is one of the rare occurrences when Rita’s red lip really complements her look.
