Zooey Deschanel paired Christian Louboutin nude patent Simple pumps with an Alice + Olivia one shoulder black and white dress at the FOX All-Star Party.

I agree with many of the comments from the original post; why the nude shoes?

Shoes Zooey Should Have Worn:

Oscar de la Renta’s black satin slingback sandals are simple and elegant. This heel is from the Fall 2011 collection and would’ve been a lovely choice for Zooey.

If Zooey wanted to stick with a pump the satin Brian Atwood ‘Teodora’ is a fabulous alternative. These pumps would have worked much better than the nude Louboutin heels.

Christian Dior’s Spring 2011 heels complement the embroidered taffeta top on Zooey’s dress. These statement heels would have transformed her outfit from blah to Ooh la la.

Manolo Blahnik’s ‘Nipotta’ heels match Zooey’s personality and her dress. The ‘Nipotta’ is from Blahnik’s Fall 2011 collection and feature a metallic silver tie.

Danni Minogue was spotted backstage before taking her judges chair at ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ wearing a J’Aton Couture dress with nude Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ platform pumps.

We all adored her vintage French lace J’Aton Couture dress, but many of you weren’t so happy with her choice of heels.

Shoes Danni Should Have Worn:

If Danni wanted to wear a pump; these Nicholas Kirkwood satin heels are fabulous. The red signature island platform brings her look together.

Jimmy Choo’s Lance sandals have become the go-to evening heel – I also suggested them to Emma Watson. They’re elegant and look beautiful.

The Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2011 sandals feature navy satin cross-straps and black studs. The tri-colours paired with her dress make a unique shoe choice.

Viktor & Rolf’s Spring 2011 t-strap sandal is playful and perfect for Danni’s event. I love the zebra sequined heel.

The light grey Cesare Paciotti platform sandals complement the red lace. The crystal embellishment and diamante detailing match the beauty of her outfit.

Emma Watson was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater before appearing on the “Late Show With David Letterman.”

Emma wore black patent Christian Louboutin Coroclic wedges with her Balmain Fall 2011 dress. These chunky cork wedges don’t work with her embellished dress.

If she wore this look in the fall, I would have definitely suggested going with the beautiful runway boots.

However, since it’s mid-July a simple black or metallic sandal is her best option.

Shoes Emma Should Have Worn:

Gucci’s new Kinga studded platform sandals are the perfect black sandal. They let the dress shine and complement her embellished dress.

The metallic Jimmy Choo Lance sandals are my favourite choice for Emma. The golden colour and strappy design look so good with her outfit.

I think Emma could pull off these Manolo Blahnik’s Netochka navy satin open toe lace-up sandals perfectly, as the navy blue complements the hem of her dress.

Remember Whitney Port’s beautiful red Manolo’s? His designs are more traditional and they’re refreshing in a sea of chunky platforms.

Pierre Hardy’s metallic buckle Spring/Summer 2011 sandal is a fabulous shoe. I really love this colour paired with her skin tone.

These Christian Louboutin Bianca leather platform pumps are the safest choice. If Emma wanted to stick with a Louboutin, these pumps are a much better option than the cork wedges.

Kerry Washington attended the 2011 BET Awards wearing black patent Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps.

Kerry chose a classic pump, however they were too heavy for her beautiful acid green Michael Kors dress. Gold sandals or a complementary colourful heel would have made this look a BDOTW contender.

Shoes Kerry Should Have Worn:

Sergio Rossi’s crystal sandal complements Kerry’s metallic accessories. They feature a twisted stiletto heel covered in crystals.

The multi-coloured Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spikes are one of the hottest heels from his latest Fall 2011 collection. If Kerry wanted to stick with a Louboutin pump, this would have been a much better Pigalle to wear.

Giuseppe Zanotti’s multi-strap ankle cuff sandal is covered with gold-colored Swarovski crystals. These statement heels are definitely red carpet worthy.

The golden Louis Vuitton sandal is simple and trendy. Several designs from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2011 collection feature heels resembling a horse’s leg and hoof.

Carey Mulligan was spotted on her way to the Junior Spring Benefit wearing Yves Saint Laurent “Trib too” platform pumps.

These pumps weighed her Valentino dress down. She really could have used a splash of colour; especially since it’s summer.

Shoes Carey Should Have Worn:

Nicholas Kirkwood’s suede peep-toe platform pumps would have worked with Carey’s entire look – even her pink lip colour. The details in Kirkwood’s latest Fall 2011 collection are exquisite and this pump features a kiltie fringe.

I love the wooden platform on these bright orange Casadei suede open toe pumps. They’re completely different from the boring heels Carey wore.

Rupert Sanderson’s Fabia multi-colour python pumps are stunning! These heels are my favourite choice as they add both colour and excitement to her outfit.

Alaïa’s metallic pewter leather sandals complement Carey’s metallic clutch. Even though they’re heavily embellished with studs, they match the level of detail on her laser cut Valentino dress.
