Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘Only The Brave’ New York Screening

Jennifer Connelly attended the ‘Only The Brave’ New York screening on Tuesday (October 17) in New York City.

You won’t be surprised to see her wearing a look from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2018 collection. Or maybe you are, as your expectation is that she should be pulling from the recent Spring 2018 collection by now.

While I’m not always blown away with the predictability of Jennifer’s style, I do really like this look.

Steeped with masculine undertones, this style feels classic despite its contemporary detailing.

All LV accessories conclude what is quite a striking look for Jennifer.

Mary J. Blige In Michael Kors Collection – ‘Mudbound’ New York Screening

Mary J. Blige joined Carey Mulligan for the ‘Mudbound’ screening during the 55th New York Film Festival on Thursday (October 12).

The singer is never shy when it comes to making standout statement on the red carpet, so she decked herself out in an all-white Michael Kors Collection Pre-Fall 2017 look, with many military references.

I want to love the look, but I don’t like the trousers. The finesse we see in the look book doesn’t translate to Mary’s ensemble.

Had the trousers been swapped out for a long skirt with a train, I would’ve warmed to this look.

Tracee Ellis Ross wore this same suit in khaki back in May.

Carey Mulligan In Giambattista Valli – ‘Mudbound’ New York Screening

Carey Mulligan was back on the red carpet for the ‘Mudbound’ screening during the 55th New York Film Festival in New York City on Thursday (October 12).

After celebrating her décolletage earlier this week, she opted for a far more covered selection this time out with this ruby-red Giambattista Valli Resort 2018 gown.

I was thankful for the subtle ruffle detail and tonal belt that offered feminine shaping—and a hint of flair—to the more solemn side of the dress.

Introducing a bold red lip and a tousled, upswept bun was also a lovely way to finish out the elegant look.

Blake Lively In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘All I See Is You’ LA Screening

What a time to be alive.

We have been thoroughly spoilt today between Diane Kruger, Margot Robbie and now Blake Lively.

The actress was serving up movie star elegance for the LA screening of her latest film, ‘All I See Is You’ on Tuesday evening (October 10).

I love how this Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture suit showcases her grown up, sexy sophisticated style, as the mum-of-two opted to not wear the plunge as deep as we saw on the runway.

This was the perfect look to showcase her shortest hairstyle yet, with the crimson lip adding to the retro vibe and overall charm.

Lorraine Schwartz 10 carat no oil Colombian emerald ring, a grey diamond pinky ring and sparkling Louboutins completed her look.

Allison Williams In Hellessy – ‘Anatomy of a Scene: Get Out’ Hamptons International Film Festival Screening

Allison Williams made her return to the red carpet for the screening of ‘Anatomy of a Scene: Get Out’ during the Hamptons International Film Festival on Sunday (October 8).

I’d venture to say this Hellessy Resort 2018 dress had a certain Hamptons relaxed-chic vibe, so I can understand the selection of it for the screening.

I like the addition of the contrasting sash belt here to further break up the horizontal motif of the frock, which was imbued with additional femininity in the statement sleeves.

Coincidence or not, she fully coordinated with her surroundings and the step-and-repeat behind her.

So, I found myself wishing for a different shoe rather than the Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ red pumps that blended into ground. A sandal or the ballet-pink pumps from the lookbook would have been preferred.

Claire Foy In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – ‘Breathe’ New York Special Screening

Claire Foy was back on the red carpet for the ‘Breathe’ screening in New York on Monday (October 9).

It’s fair to say that her Mugler Zurich premiere look didn’t go down well with the majority, so you’ll be happy to see her return to English Rose elegance in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture.

While the runway look is oozing sensuality, the Fall 2017 dress renders on the side of whimsical and playful on the brunette actress.

The dress did need to stand alone, so I don’t find myself being mad at the choice of simple Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Ana Khouri diamond Gioconda earrings and diamond Mirian ring completed her look.

Margot Robbie In Christian Dior – ‘ I, Tonya’ Hamptons International Film Festival Screening

Margot Robbie was back on the red carpet for the ‘I, Tonya’ screening during the Hamptons International Film Festival on Sunday (October 8) in New York.

As we come to expect, Dior have wasted no time in getting their latest Spring 2018 collection on the backs of celebs.

Margot wore a multicoloured embroidered dress which despite its sparkling status had a relaxed vibe about it, mostly due to the red M2MALLETIER velvet bag grounding the look.

You’ve been very vocal in your dislike of her most recent looks, so does this non-fussy, I just threw this together look work for you?

I think she nailed it.
