Rosamund Pike In Vera Wang – ‘Gone Girl’ New York Screening

Rosamund Pike In Vera Wang - 'Gone Girl' New York Screening

Rosamund Pike attended a screening of ‘Gone Girl’ hosted by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International on Tuesday (September 30) in New York City.

The British actress opted for a simple low-key look, wearing a dark tartan Vera Wang Fall 2014 trapeze dress with a pleated skirt which skimmed her baby bump.

Black Jimmy Choo open-toe heels accessorized her charming look, with just a hint of rouge to the lip adding some colour.

You may remember that Sarah Jessica Parker wore this same dress back in April.

Michelle Monaghan In J. Mendel – ‘Fort Bliss’ San Diego Film Festival Screening

Michelle Monaghan In J Mendel - 'Fort Bliss' San Diego Film Festival Screening

Michelle Monaghan attended the ‘Fort Bliss’ screening which served as the opening night tribute at the San Diego Film Festival on Saturday (September 27) in San Diego, California.

The actress wore a tile-like turquoise-blue leather mini shift dress from J. Mendel’s Resort 2015 collection.

Styled with Jimmy Choo pointy pumps and a Jimmy Choo clutch, I was ready to swoon over this look until I got to the Irene Neuwirth earrings.

At first I didn’t think the aqua-blue complemented the dress so well as I personally, I would’ve loved to have seen a coral pair with this look to really shake it up, but they have since grown on me somewhat.

Cate Blanchett In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Blue Jasmine’ Zurich Film Festival Screening

Cate Blanchett In Christian Dior Couture - 'Blue Jasmine' Zurich Film Festival Screening

Cate Blanchett was back on the scene at the 2014 Zurich Film Festival after her IWC photo exhibit opening, attending the ‘Blue Jasmine’ screening later in the day on Saturday (September 27) in Zurich, Switzerland.

Somewhat reflecting the ‘green carpet,’ the actress selected a regal Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture forest-green silk frock coat with the same mahogany pumps seen earlier.

With the full-skirted form and exaggerated collar mixed with a zipper front detail and embellished white statement belt, the dress had the unique position of being both period and futuristic. Still, I found myself wishing for the bodice and sleeves to be more neatly fitted.

Accounting for the voluminous shaping, Cate streamlined the styling with simply a light pink lip and a loose, breezy updo completing the look.

Jessica Chastain In Erdem – ‘Salome and Wilde Salome’ London Screening

Jessica Chastain In Erdem - 'Salome and Wilde Salome' London Screening

Jessica Chastain attended the screening of ‘Salome and Wilde Salome’ held at BFI Southbank on Sunday (September 21) in London, England.

Looking as gorgeous as ever and of course opting to go hands-free, the actress wore a meticulously crafted Erdem Resort 2015 lemon silk brocade gown with an all-over floral design, featuring a deep V-neckline and a defined waist to draw the eye to the narrowest part of her silhouette.

No need for elaborate or ornate styling – the dress speaks for itself.

My only wish for this look would’ve been for the trim on the illusion panel to be less noticeable, as everything else, from the sleek ponytail to the flawless makeup, is perfection.

Kate Hudson In Emanuel Ungaro – ‘Wish I Was Here’ London Screening

Kate Hudson In Emanuel Ungaro - 'Wish I Was Here' London Screening

Kate Hudson attended the screening of ‘Wish I Was Here’ held at Empire Leicester Square on Thursday (September 18) in London, England following a day of press.

The actress wore an Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2015 sheer printed sleeveless top and black and white printed trousers styled with white Saint Laurent pumps which, even for a low-key premiere, feels too low-key.

For me this is a photocall look at best. I think perhaps a blazer to match the trousers would’ve elevated the look.

What are your thoughts on this look for a screening?
