Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton – ‘Still Alice’ AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton - - 'Still Alice' AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Julianne Moore joined Kristen Stewart on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, California for the AFI FEST ‘Still Alice’ premiere.

Following her chic showing at ‘The Hunger Games’ world premiere on Monday, the actress was back to wearing black, this time wearing a head-to-toe look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection. It seems that Natalia Vodianova was the only one allowed to get away with wearing her LV look without those boots.

Despite not being a fan of recent LV red carpet looks, this look, which is simple in design yet edgy, is beautifully presented by Ms Moore. I wouldn’t change a thing, plus I just love how Julianne and Kristen complemented each other.

You may remember that Catherine Deneuve wore the same dress in red a few days ago.

Kristen Stewart In Chanel - 'Still Alice' AFI FEST 2014 Premiere

Kristen Stewart attended the AFI FEST 2014 special screening of ‘Still Alice’ held at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore Chanel, selecting a black and white graphic-print dress with a sheer yoke and sleeves from the Spring 2015 collection.

I know some can’t quite get on board with her style, but for me she’s hit a rich vein of form, with this look being one of the best in recent times.

Yes, it is very much sticking to her red carpet M.O. of being a frock in a very short style, but it’s a formula which continues to work for her.

Her newly chopped ‘do continues to take shape, suiting her tomboyish persona whilst giving this pretty frock an edge.

I just love the silvery eye makeup on this occasion.

From head to toe this look works. I have no nits to pick.

Are any of you KStew non-believers ready to give this look a thumbs up?

Keira Knightley In Chanel Couture – ‘The Imitation Game’ LA Screening

Keira Knightley In Chanel Couture - 'The Imitation Game' LA Screening

Keira Knightley attended the Los Angeles special screening of ‘The Imitation Game’ hosted by Chanel at the DGA Theater on Monday (November 10) in Los Angeles, California.

Decked out in a single-pleated Chanel Fall 2014 Couture short trapeze off-white neoprene and organza dress embroidered with silver, pale pink and transparent stones, my first thought was “Keira in Chanel will never get boring”.

As you know, I have started to become fatigued with the Connelly–Vuitton coupling, yet Keira was born for this brand, channelling a grace and elegance with each look more intriguing than the next.

Methinks that pleated detail will fan the flame for those who have concluded that Keira is with child. Those side views will do that too.

Marion Cotillard In Valentino – ‘Two Days, One Night’ AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Marion Cotillard In Valentino - 'Two Days, One Night' AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Marion Cotillard attended the screening of ‘Two Days, One Night’ during AFI FEST 2014 which was held at the Egyptian Theatre on Friday (November 7) in Hollywood, California.

What you are seeing is a rare sighting of the French beauty not wearing Dior.

Instead she wore a Valentino Spring 2015 pale-yellow pleated gown with a contrast collar and embroidered detailing.

The look is soft, elegant and so very chic with the retro ‘do and red lips, plus I feel this is refreshing, yet I would love to see Marion in something much edgier.

I think she would look great in Rodarte, Michael van der Ham or Giambattista Valli.

Poppy Delevingne In Valentino – Screening Of The new Annabel’s Docu Film ‘A String Of Naked Lightbulbs’

Poppy Delevingne In Valentino - Screening Of The new Annabel's Docu Film 'A String Of Naked Lightbulbs'

Poppy Delevingne attended the screening of the new Annabel’s docu film, ‘A String Of Naked Lightbulbs’, held at Curzon Cinema Mayfair on Tuesday (October 28) in London, England.

Usually opting for Pucci or Chanel in vibrant, often multi-coloured hues, the socialite opted for a black Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 mini dress on this occasion.

Her streamlined shift dress brings back the ’60s silhouette with a romantically feminine edge, plus I love its sartorial finishing – namely, its PVC-trimmed ruffles and cuffs.

Pains me to admit but the white pumps do a great job of elevating the look in lieu of any accessories or makeup.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Mens 23 Oct

It was another busy night on the red carpet for the heroes of Hollywood. Here is a quick look at what they wore.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The British actor joined Lupita Nyong’o for the opening of the Bally flagship store in London. Wearing a more casual look than we’ve seen from the usually suited and booted actor, this Bally look featuring a pinstriped blazer for added sharpness gets a rousing thumbs up from me.

Eddie Redmayne: Joining fellow Brit star Felicity Jones for the screening of their latest movie, ‘The Theory Of Everything’, the former model was decked out in Gucci once again, also working a semi-casual look. Donning a white dress shirt and camel ’60s sport trousers, the royal-blue plain-knit crew-neck sweater injects a touch of charm, with the sunglasses giving the look a cool finish.
