Katherine Waterston In Gabriela Hearst – ‘Alien Covenant’ New York Screening

Katherine Waterston made her elegant appearance at Entertainment Weekly’s special screening of ‘Alien Covenant’ on Monday (May 15).

The actress, who seems to be systematically creating a signature look for herself, stepped out once again in a selection from Gabriela Hearst’s Fall 2017 collection.

Her deep royal velvet dress is a sophisticated take on the classic slip dress with its delicate embellishment and slight bias cut it has just the right amount of that special ingredient to keep it from being dull.

The darkly romantic mood of Gabriela Hearst’s recent collection is a perfect illustration of the Katherine Waterston aesthetic.

Amy Schumer In Valentino – ‘Snatched’ New York Screening

Amy Schumer attended the New York screening of ‘Snatched’ on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.

The funny girl went for ferocious in this Valentino frock from the Panther capsule collection.

I love the drama that the graphic animal print provided, which was only heightened by the cape silhouette.

I do think Amy’s styling let her—and the dress—down. At the very least, the bow-accented neckline required a sleek bun. And a bolder eye or statement lip wouldn’t have hurt either.

Naomi Watts In Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs & Prada – The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball, ‘Chuck’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere & ‘3 Generations’ Screening

Naomi Watts made her rounds in New York City at both the Tribeca Film Festival and The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball.

The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball – At the event on Monday (April 17), Naomi wore a tea-length pale blush dress from Miu Miu’s Fall 2017 collection. It’s perfect. I love the playful red accents at the collar and the vintage inspired ruffled yoke front and center.

‘Chuck’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere- On Friday (April 28) Naomi hit the red carpet in a Marc Jacobs Fall 2017 outfit. It’s how she balances elegance and casual sophistication that makes this look work so well, pairing the slouchy long sleeved sweater dress with a sparkling fringe mini skirt.

‘3 Generations’ Screening – On Sunday (April 30) She stepped out in a Prada dress with Prada shoes and Delfina Delettrez rings. After back-to-back nude looks, this floral embroidered and beaded calf length dress was a breath of fresh air.

As usual, in all three looks Naomi is the definition of classic elegance.

Elle Fanning In Miu Miu – ‘3 Generations’ New York Screening

For the first time since January, Elle Fanning was back on the red carpet for the screening of ‘3 Generations’ on Sunday (April 30) in New York City.

At once 1920-s inspired and wonderfully contemporary, I love how exquisitely ladylike her Miu Miu Pre-Fall 2017 dress is; with ruffles adding some youthful charm.

I’m glad the look book studded heels weren’t an option as her chiffon Christian Louboutin ‘Toufrou’ pumps with a bow detail were the perfect choice to round out this pretty yet polished look.

Christina Ricci In Azzedine Alaïa- ‘Z: The Beginning Of Everything’ Emmy FYC Screening

Christina Ricci attended the Emmy FYC Screening for Amazon’s ‘Z: The Beginning Of Everything’ on Thursday (April 27) in Hollywood, California.

I was completely charmed by this Azzedine Alaïa Spring 2017 embroidered frock which had all the glories of spring, done up in a chic silhouette mixed with cool, graphic patterning.

The styling was also on point, from the Edie Parker ‘Lara’ red clutch to the fresh coral lip. Even the white pumps worked on this occasion.

Were you equally impressed by this fresh statement?

Amy Schumer In Erdem – ‘Snatched’ London Screening

Amy Schumer and her ‘Snatched’ co-star Goldie Hawn attended a special screening of the comedy flick at The Soho Hotel on Wednesday (April 26) in London, England.

Amy is notoriously known for her fearless comedy chops, but when it comes to her red carpet looks, she’s constantly fading in the background.

I have nothing against the Erdem Spring 2017 dress itself. I really do adore this casual tea-length, the peek-a-boo side slits, tie straps and the pockets — but it does nothing for Schumer. Sure it’s laid back and cool, but it just hangs on her.
