Sandra Oh In Simone Rocha – ‘Killing Eve’ Cannes International Series Festival Screening

Sandra Oh stepped out at the ‘Killing Eve’ Cannes International Series Festival screening on Sunday (April 8) in France, joining Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The actress cut an elegant figure in a Simone Rocha ensemble with John Hardy jewels and Neil J. Rodgers shoes.

The designer’s clothes are usually brimming with a girlish romanticism and sumptuous texture. The actress’s sheer outfit has a whimsical charm but it’s tempered by the dark shades and more streamlined shape.

Despite the lightweight fabric, there is structure with the gathered shoulders and fitted waist. The wispy shawl collar and the platform heels helped strengthen the look further.

Against the hot pink background, the inky confection has such presence.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Hellessy – ‘Killing Eve’ Cannes International Series Festival Screening

Phoebe Waller-Bridge brought a new twist to pretty-in-pink at the ‘Killing Eve’ screening held during the 1st Cannes International Series Festival in France on Sunday (April 8).

As the menswear trend continues to evolve on the red carpet, this Hellessy Spring 2018 ensemble offered up an intriguing variation that married traditional tailoring with modern femininity.

I like how the split, cape sleeves of the plunging double-breasted jacket provide a willowy grace to the suit that was echoed in the wide-leg trousers.

Should you have peeked below the pants hem, you’d have seen a pair of Sophia Webster sandals that no doubt provided a bright flirtation to cap off the look.

Kristine Froseth In Chanel – ‘The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair’ Cannes Photocall & Screening

Kristine Froseth was at ‘The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair’ photocall before joining Michelle Dockery at the film’s screening on Saturday (April 7) during the 1st Cannes International Series Festival in France.

Photocall: I love how freely and vibrantly Kristine wore this Chanel Spring 2018 pink and blue lattice, tweed frock. With the nude-pink ballet flats, and her fresh-faced beauty, it was such a charismatic and casually chic way to interpret the design. You may remember that Phoebe Tonkin also wore this look.

Screening: Her magnetic charm continued at the screening with this second Chanel Spring 2018 entrance. Sure, the skirt was sheer. But, with its textural effect and tea length, it was a totally fresh take on see-through trend—especially when styled with a simple black top, a sweet ballet bun, and a pop of high glamour in her diamond earrings. The main theme of this look was just downright darling.

With style moments like this, young starlet has easily made it on my list of one to watch.

Michelle Dockery In Roland Mouret – ‘The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair’ Cannes Screening

The Cannes Film Festival is about a month away, but Michelle Dockery got the glamour started early at the screening for ‘The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair’ on Saturday (April 7) during the 1st Cannes International Series Festival in France.

My jaw is still on the floor, as I am obsessed with every last centimetre of her look—starting with this red Roland Mouret gown of asymmetrically draped and sculpted perfection.

Even the zipper at the back was such a nod to modern elegance.

Plus, that hot-pink carpet and backdrop only intensified the sizzle of this dress.

And, we haven’t even made it to her striking swept-back hair and classically graceful makeup—not to mention the precisely placed diamonds.

This may be one of my favourite Michelle looks of all time.

Hayley Atwell In Sally LaPointe – ‘Howards End’ New York Screening

Hayley Atwell struck an impressive style chord at the screening event of STARZ ‘Howards End’ in New York City on Wednesday (April 4).

This may have been a black dress, but there was nothing basic about this Sally LaPointe Spring 2018 grommet-studded and fringed number.

I’m sure we’re all breathing a sigh of relief that she opted to line it a bit, but it lost no sense of its figure-hugging allure.

Her accessories couldn’t have been better selected to seamlessly accompany the dress, between her classic Jimmy Choo pumps, the slight shine of her Tod’s clutch to bounce off those grommets, and sparkling jewels from Hearts On Fire, Le Vian and Harry Kotlar.

With her glam side-swept waves to finish it out, I loved seeing this elegant-meets-edgy side of the actress. What about you?
