Juno Temple In Christian Dior – ‘Wonder Wheel’ New York Screening

Juno Temple joined Kate Winslet for the ‘Wonder Wheel’ screening at Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

The actress wore a look from Dior’s Western-inspired Resort 2018 collection, which drew its visual inspo from the wall paintings in the Lascaux cave in South West France, which was prominent on her bustier dress.

While the style of dress is familiar, I did find myself being swept away by the resolutely feminine and mystical nature of this look.

An EF Collection choker and a Dior ‘Le Coeur de Lion’ velvet clutch accessorized her gorgeous frock.

Kate Winslet In Tom Ford – ‘Wonder Wheel’ New York Screening

Kate Winslet attended the ‘Wonder Wheel’ screening at Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

The simple silhouettes that are often the most sexy; this is a concept Tom Ford well understands.

However, I was searching for a photo of the back, as I’m convenience there’s more to this than meets the eye.

My feeling is there’s some playful seduction with an open back we’re just not able to see.

Kate styled her look with simple stilettos and Fred Leighton jewels.

Weekend Red Carpet Roundup

It was a fashion-filled weekend with many stylish stars stepping out on the red carpet.

Kate Mara: I must say, I’ve enjoyed the actress’s recent tailored looks. She continued her fashion reign in Christian Siriano at the 2017 Humane Society Of The United States To The Rescue! event on Friday (November 10). The rich green fabric of the slim suit was contrasted beautifully with the Jimmy Choo ‘Kerry’ sandals and pink Tyler Ellis bag.

Alison Brie: I almost did not recognize the actress at the ‘The Disaster Artist’ AFI Fest screening on Sunday (November 12). Her Marc Jacobs dress combined with the soft curls had a charming retro feel. It had a Betty Boop quality to it with the sweet bow detail and frill on the bodice contrasting the black belt and platform ankle-strap pumps.

Zoe Saldana: There were a myriad of looks at the Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 11). The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actress looked regal in this black gown with suiting elements. The large notched collar framed her face. But, it was the undone skirt which opened to reveal her delicate sandals that made it.

Carey Mulligan In Preen – ‘Mudbound’ AFI FEST 2017 Screening

Carey Mulligan attended the ‘Mudbound’ AFI FEST 2017 screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday (November 9) in Hollywood, California, joining Mary J. Blige.

I have always been enamored with the way the actress puts a high-fashion twist on classic feminine shapes, pulling them off with an easy elegance. That was demonstrated in this Preen Spring 2018 dress.

The ankle-length number has details aplenty, but it doesn’t feel contrived when paired with the coordinating peep-toe shoes and her soft hair and makeup.

I’m sure there are a number of people who will be pleased to see Carey’s dress has been lined in black. I like the lining overall, but wish some panels had a neutral lining as details get lost against the black.

Mary J. Blige In Rami Al Ali Couture – ‘Mudbound’ AFI FEST 2017 Screening

Mary J. Blige’s ‘Mudbound’ style has been very hit and miss for me, but for the screening during the Opening Night Gala of AFI FEST 2017 on Thursday (November 9) in Hollywood, California, she served up one of her best looks in Rami Al Ali Couture.

Modified for the better, the gunmetal beaded lace gown with open back from the Fall 2016 Couture collection, was serving up the kind of glamour that screams superstar.

A part of me wishes this was in a more vibrant hue like violet or green, but Queen Mary was hitting all the high notes last night in this gown.
