Carly Rae Jepsen In Needle & Thread – The Today Show

It was nice to see the softer side of Carly Rae Jepsen style as she arrived for a guest appearance on NBC’s ‘Today’ show at Rockefeller Center yesterday (August 17) in New York City.

Her Needle & Thread Pre-Fall 2017 ‘Ditsy’ midi dress was a wonderfully beguiling affair, with sequin embroidered flowers gently scattered throughout that are the brands signature.

Styled with a plum Kate Spade New York ‘Baja Bound Turtle Crossbody’ bag and retro shades, the red Stuart Weitzman sandals may be too stark with this look for some, but the pop of colour enlivens the look for me.

What are your thoughts on her styling?

Millie Bobby Brown In CG – ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’

Millie Bobby Brown stepped out with true confidence for her guest appearance on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ yesterday afternoon (August 10), where she promoted her exciting Netflix series, ‘Stranger Things’.

Exhibiting a sophisticated chicness that evoked a tomboy zeitgeist, the actress wore a CG Spring Spring 2017 tailored look with a floral shirt.

Teamed with black shiny Stuart Weitzman boots and sleek back hair her androgynous yet stylish look was complete.

Eva Longoria In Clarité – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Eva Longoria had a spring in her step for her ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ appearance on Tuesday (August 8), where she talked about Serena Williams 1950s-themed baby shower.

Style-wise, it appears that Eva has turned a new leaf.

Gone are the ice-skater frocks and 36 inch-long trousers, and in comes two good looks in a row.

This look came courtesy of Clarité, a French label making its Fall 2017 debut.

While I wish Eva wore her hair up considering the high-neckline, I love how this look is super girlie, chic, fun and vibrant. Bringing back the Eva Longoria I know and love.

Fingers crossed this good fortune continues.

Emily Ratajkowski dons La Perla & Versace for her Jimmy Kimmel visit

Emily Ratajkowski made her first ever appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ where she talked about the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that Kimmel’s mum kindly made for everyone at the Emmys last year, and the fact that she doesn’t count calories in order to maintain her svelte shape.

Arrival: As you would expect the model rocked a sexy pink La Perla outfit which was part tuxedo, part sheer dress. I can’t say I’m that fond of the creation, but she manages to wear it well enough to showcase at least one of her USPs. The look was simply styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Darcie’ sandals.

Show: Summer calls for statement prints and vibrant colour schemes, so what better way to hail the season than this Botticelli-esqe printed shirt dress which was presented during Versace’s Spring 2018 menswear show. I was significantly more excited about this look for the reasons stated about plus it didn’t feel predictable. Donatella wore the sleeveless version as she took her bow.

Aubrey Plaza In Thom Browne – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Aubrey Plaza made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday (August 7), to promote her latest film, ‘Ingrid Goes West’.

Thom Browne is known for his exquisite tailoring which always presents a modern look as demonstrated here.

I love how Aubrey took the formality out of the look by adding a youthful crop top which gave this look a throw-on-and-go effortless vibe.

Jessica Biel In Zuhair Murad – Live with Kelly & Ryan

I will be the first to admit that I’ve been crushing on Jessica Biel’s style on her current promo tour for ‘The Sinner.’

That affection did not wane when she showed up to ‘Live with Kelly & Ryan’ on Friday (August 4) in New York City in a Zuhair Murad Fall 2017 ensemble.

Leave it to the Lebanese designer known for his intricately seductive embroidery and uncompromising glamour to redefine tweed with a fresh, sultry-sophisticated standard.

I love how the yellow lace top gave the prim, pencil skirt a new lease on life for a dazzling version of daywear.

Sure, it was certainly a fall-ready look, but it certainly made me ready for a change in season.
