Florence Welch In Jonathan Saunders – A&E Networks 2012 Upfront

Following her dramatic red carpet look wearing Alexander McQueen to the Met Gala, Florence Welch is still in New York where she is currently on tour and promoting her second album ‘Ceremonials’.

The singer made an appearance onstage at the A&E Networks 2012 Upfront at the Lincoln Center on Wednesday, where she performed wearing a Jonathan Saunders Spring 2012 gown.

We’re used to seeing the singer in floaty gowns, but on this occasion she opted for a flesh-coloured mesh dress embroidered with swirling white blooms and a fitted silhouette.

Carrie Underwood In Theia – ‘American Idol’ Top 5 to 4 Live Elimination Show

Carrie Underwood returned to the ‘American Idol’ stage on Thursday evening for a very dramatic performance of her new single ‘Blown Away’ which is the title track of her new album.

The country singer, who found fame on the show, wore a Theia Spring 2012 bridal gown.

Her stylist customized the gown with a thigh-high split by adding chiffon accents on the shoulder and a black sash to the waist.

In a further attempt to lose the bridal feel of the original look, the singer added GIO DIEV grey ostrich velvet and black patent sandals with black lacquer Samurai heels to give the look an edge.

Jennifer Lopez In Yeojin Bae – ‘American Idol’ Top 5 Live Show

Following the announcement of her tour with Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez was back to work on ‘American Idol’ last night for the Top 5 live performance show.

She looked beautiful wearing a Yeojin Bae Spring 2012 dress.

Her cherry-red figure-hugging silk faille dress with pin-tuck detailing on upper body was styled with signature large hoop earrings, Pomellato jewels and nude Christian Louboutin heels.

Whilst this is a major moment for the young Australian designer, I’m not crazy about the contrast cream mesh halter neckline panel which creates a deep v faux neckline.

Had it been darker to blend to her skin tone, like it does on the model, I think it would’ve been perfect.

The best thing about this picture is that Randy Jackson has finally found a pair of pants that fit him.

Rihanna In Stella McCartney – Time 100 Gala Performance

Rihanna was one of the performers at the Time 100 Gala held at the Lincoln Center in New York City last night.

The singer continued her love affair with Stella McCartney by wearing a look from the British designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Her jacquard ensemble – featuring a gold strapless top accented with a red-and-black top paired with silver pants and the same Louboutins from the red carpet – doesn’t work for me.

Not the style, the mixing of metals and most definitely not the bow.

If the model couldn’t pull it off, Rihanna should’ve taken this as a sign that the chances of her pulling it off were slim to none.

Rihanna, it just wasn’t your night.

Florence Welch In Naeem Khan – The Teenage Cancer Trust Show

Florence + The Machine performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night, for the Teenage Cancer Trust show.

Lead singer Florence Welch stunned once again in Naeem Khan.

Wearing a long-sleeve bronze lace wrap-front gown from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection, Florence was radiant.

The Florence and Naeem Khan relationship has been a long-standing one. Usually she picks one of his stunning flowing pieces with movement, but this more fitted number is just as beautiful.

Many of you have commented on your dislike of center-parted hairstyle, so you’ll be pleased to see that she opted for a chic braided style for this occasion.

Olivia Wilde In Gucci – 2012 Independent Spirit Awards

Olivia Wilde opted to skip the red carpet at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards, held in Santa Monica, California yesterday evening.

Thankfully we still get to see her colourful Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress inside the venue.

Her strapless floral print maxi dress in shades of white, red, purple and black looked gorgeous on her as Gucci continues to be a winning brand for her.

Olivia accessorized with Irene Neuwirth earrings and gold Ippolita bangles which were the perfected complement to her floral dress.

Soft wavy, tresses and barely-there make-up completed her look.
