Rita Ora In Jonathan Saunders - V Festival

Rita Ora was one of the many performers at V Festival this weekend in England.

Saturday – Weston Park, Stafford: Rita took to the stage at Weston Park sporting a monochromatic look which may be likened to prison stripes.

Wearing a leather black-and-white halter top and white trousers with a black behind from Jonathan Saunders’ Spring 2013 collection, the singer put in an energetic performance of her hit songs.

Her sporty apparel was, of course, styled with her signature red lip colour and a baseball cap perched on top of her recently-cut-short blonde tresses.

Sunday – Hylands Park, Chelmsford: Rita performed at the festival’s second location, Chelmsford Park, on Day 2 wearing yet another Jonathan Saunders stripy two-piece; this time the look was more reflective, with hologram stripes styled with Sophia Webster lace-up hologram leather gladiator boots.

Even though I am a huge fan of Sophia Webster, I really dislike the boots. Not only do they not work well with Rita’s look, but I also find them garish.

Mel C In McQ Alexander McQueen - G-A-Y Nightclub Performance

Melanie Chisholm performed at London’s G-A-Y nightclub on Saturday night with former X Factor winner Matt Cardle.

The pair sang their new duet ‘Loving You’ for fans at the popular venue in London, recreating the kiss from the track’s music video.

For her performance the former Spice Girl wore McQ Alexander McQueen’s riotous-hued dress cut from stretch jersey to sculpt the figure.

Black Camilla Skovgaard platform ankle boots completed her look.

Lea Michele In Oscar de la Renta - 2013 Teen Choice Awards

Lea Michele made her first public appearance since the tragic death of her boyfriend, Cory Monteith, on July 13 when she took to the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday to collect her Choice TV Actress: Comedy surfboard at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards.

Paying tribute to the late actor, she wore a gold “Cory” necklace, which she frequently held while on stage wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 two-tone pink frock with a bell-shaped skirt.

She also wore a pair of stunning platinum-and-diamond cluster earrings by Tiffany & Co., finishing the look with Jimmy Choo ‘Amika’ pink suede pumps with a snakeskin toecap.

In her emotional speech, which saw her fighting back tears, she dedicated her award to Cory, saying “I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love we’re going to get through this together. He was very special to me and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart. So whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached out and he became a part of all of our hearts. . . and that’s where he’ll stay forever. So thank you guys so much. Thank you.”

Rita Ora In Vionnet - Lytham Proms 2013

Following her performance at the Oxegen music festival in Ireland on Saturday, Rita Ora headed to Lytham St Annes, England to perform at yet another music festival on Sunday.

Keeping the gold-plated Vionnet belt from her last look, Rita donned a black crop top which she styled with black pleated leather Vionnet trousers from the Fall 2013 collection.

The cornrow hairstyle toughens up the already feisty look, with leather gloves, a selection of bracelets, and sneakers providing the accessories.

I liked the belt on the previous look, but it has an after-thought feeling here; it does little to enhance the look.

Rita Ora In Viktor & Rolf - Oxegen Music Festival Pre-Fall

Rita Ora performed at the Oxegen music festival in Ireland this weekend.

The British singer continues to raise eyebrows with her onstage looks, this time wearing an olive-green jumpsuit from the Viktor & Rolf Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Her look, which features large ruffles going down both sides, would’ve benefited from her hair being worn up, yet she opted to keep her wavy blonde tresses falling down over her shoulders.

Rather than styling the look with the burgundy belt the jumpsuit was styled with in the look book, Rita wore a Vionnet gold-plated belt presented in the Fall 2013 collection.

The belt does enhance the futuristic vibe of the look, but overall I am not a fan of the hair and makeup.
