Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Beyoncé Knowles was the main attraction at the 2012 BET Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in LA on Sunday evening.

She not only collected the Best Female R&B Artist award, but she also saw her hubby Jay-Z pick up the Best Group and Video of the Year categories for ‘The Throne’.

The beautiful singer looked stunning wearing a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her chartreuse one-sleeve gown with a hip-high slit was styled with the gold multi-level waistband upside down to how it was presented on the runway.

I wish Beyoncé had given this look a red-carpet moment. Looking through all the pictures she was constantly holding her skirt. I would’ve loved to see the gown free-flowing on the red carpet.

Voluminous curls, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and those Givenchy sandals which continue to get a lot of celebrity love completed her award winning look.

Florence And The Machine performed on day 2 of the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend at Hackney Marshes in London.

Barefoot and beautiful, Florence gave an uplifting and haunting performance wearing a Julien Macdonald Fall 2012 gown.

The floral-print rise-and-fall gown with a pleated train had a nude tulle overlay with embroidered and lace details.

This lace was also used as a hair accessory.

As always, Florence picked the perfect dramatic look to match her performance, as the gown billowed when she glided across the stage.

Capital FM’s Summertime Ball was held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, with Cheryl Cole joining a lineup which included Usher, Justin Bieber, Dizzee Rascal and The Wanted.

Cheryl wore a Pam Hogg catsuit.

I don’t think I need to go into how horrific and ridiculous this look was, but I will say that these catsuits are very old news.

Everyone from Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland, Susie Bubble, Peaches Geldof, Amber Rose, and even to ex-Wag Claire Merry (Thierry Henry’s ex-wife), have been spotted wearing similar looks.

Here’s what Cheryl had to say to Capital FM about her catsuit:

“I was really lucky enough to have it made by a woman called Pam Hogg – who specialises in making catsuits. When you’re doing such a big event like that [Summertime Ball], it’s a stadium – we played here before with Coldplay – people at the back can’t see a thing. You know they might get the odd clip on the screen or whatever but you become teenie tiny, so I thought I’d be bold and bright and give everybody a view.”

She did that alright.

Kristen Bell hosted the 2012 CMT Awards, held in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday evening, with Toby Keith.

The actress arrived in Reem Acra but had three wardrobe changes during the show.

One of the looks was a Collette Dinnigan vintage collection crystal embellished one-shouldered nude gown.

I love the beachy waves she sported with this look.

The following two looks are both by Monique Lhuillier.

The first is a blush ombre sequin embroidered strapless corseted dress paired with a feather caplet from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her final look, from the Fall 2011 collection, which she styled with a chic updo, was a black draped chiffon gown with a gold embroidered halter neckline.

All three looks are great, but the Collette Dinnigan is my favourite here, with the Reem Acra being my favourite of all her looks on the night.

Annie Lennox also performed during the Diamond Jubilee Concert held at Buckingham Palace in London on Monday evening.

The Eurythmics singer gave an angelic performance, donning a pair of angel wings with her Nicholas Oakwell Fall 2011 gown.

Her glittering gunmetal grey gown, with a more conservative neckline, was styled with elbow-length silver gloves.

Singing ‘There Must Be An Angel (Playing with My Heart)’, the rock chick proved she’s no golden oldie by rocking out at the end of her performance, even throwing her mic stand across the stage.

Other performances on the night included Jessie J, Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow.

Annie’s daughter, Tali Lennox, recently wore a dress from Nicholas Oakwell’s Spring 2012 Couture collection.

A jubilant Jessie J also performed during the Diamond Jubilee Concert, held at Buckingham Palace in London this evening.

The pop princess had the crowds dancing on the Mall as she performed her hit single’ Domino’.

She showed off her unique style wearing a Spring 2012 gown by her favourite designers, Falguni and Shane Peacock.

Her sparkling gold, red, silver and royal blue gown was accented with a flock of beautiful blue feathers to amp up her dramatic performance look.

Wearing her favoured Kat Maconie black ankle boots, the singer added gold hooped earrings and slicked back her hair into a tight ponytail.
