OK, hands up if you saw this coming.
I have been loving Beyonce Knowles’ Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan Resort metallic sequin cold shoulder gown is beautiful, it’s very reminiscent of the days when Tina Knowles was head stylist for Destiny’s Child.
Yes it is a performance dress, but there is too much bling going on for me.
Beyonce wore this dress when she performed for the 2008 Christmas in Rockefeller Center, which will air tonight on NBC.

Estelle performed at the Indigo2 in O2 Arena this weekend, and the first thing to noticed was that the British R&B singer was sporting longer locks.
Now I can not remember a time when I saw Estelle with hair this long, but I really like it. The chestnut brown is a nice warm colour which softens her look.
The second thing I noticed was that she was wearing an embellished tank dress, from the Sonia Rykiel Fall 2008 collection, which sparkled brightly as she performed her set.
I love this girl.

At the
2008 American Music Awards Rihanna was sporting some serious hardware.
In the press room after collecting her 2 awards, Rihanna wore a custom made leather Phillipe and David Blond Fall 2008 corset which was covered in studs, spikes and dripping with metal chains.

For her performance she took it up a notch by wearing a neck ornament which was also made of leather with studs and chains.
She completed her look with Alexander McQueen gold tipped boots, and leather pants.

The great thing about discovering these designers, is that I was then able to identify two more Katy Perry’s dresses from her
MTV Europe Music Awards wardrobe.

Britney Spears was not the only star to perform at the
Bambi Awards in Germany last night.
Leona Lewis also took the the stage to sing her hit single Bleeding Love, and she also picked up the Shooting Star Award at the ceremony.
The British singer sported the same black bow in her hair, she had worn the night before with her Philosophy Fall 2008 mini dress, when performed last night wearing an Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 one-shoulder tulle dress with an asymmetric hem.
I adored this dress when I saw it on the runway, and I am glad Leona did it justice. I particularly like how she wore it off-the-shoulder.
Those of you – like me – who on Leona watch, will note that she is AGAIN wearing tights to perform inside. I will forgive her on this occasion for wearing the dress that I ? so much.

After a her illness last week Cheryl Cole was back on form on the X Factor on Saturday night wearing a strapless mini Luella Spring 2008 prom dress.
The black lace dress had a blue tulle skirt with plenty of volume.
She completed her look with black heels, a gold headband, large drop earrings and a customised necklace from Punky Pins.
I can’t wait for this Saturday’s show, when Britney Spears will making an appearance. What will she wear?

I must admit I am having a new found love for Beyonce, as she is attempting to erase my bad memories of her wearing those garnish Tina Knowles originals, and tries to update her wardrobe with more cutting edge designers.
I was bummed she did not walk the red carpet at the American Music Awards last night, but as always she put in a back breaking performance on the stage performing “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”.
Mrs Carter wore an Armani Privé Spring 2008 black and white satin jacket with origami rosettes. She opted out of wearing her usual leggings, instead she wore a pair of black pants and nude fishnet leggings.
The glove has finally gone, but is has been replace by the cyborg finger. The whole thing is wearing a little thin, and I hope she give it up so, because what was cute at first is starting to become stale.

The pint-sized popstar that is Kylie Minogue performed on stage for the first time in the Middle East at the landmark Grand Opening of Atlantis, The Palm Resort and the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai last night.
The star performed a 45 minute set, for which she was reportedly paid an astonishing £1.5million.
For that kind of money it is not wonder that she could afford to splash out on a custom Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2008 Couture ensemble.
As you can see the jodhpurs Kylie is wearing have a sequined detail, whereas the runway version have a suede detail.
Her gold shimmering blouse, also has the added detail of a lace collar and sparkly bow.

The singer later changed into an even more sparkly number of a pink sequined shirt, sequin embellished waistcoat, sequined bow-tie and black sequin pants.
