Rihanna In Lanvin – The Voice Finale

Following her performance on the UK X Factor finale last week, Rihanna showcased her singing talents once again on another reality singing competition last night; this time it was for the live finale of ‘The Voice’.

On this occasion she donned a Lanvin Spring 2013 jumpsuit.

Her luxe tuxedo jumpsuit, covered entirely with Swarovski embroidery, was styled with the same crystal bracelet, crystal belt, and bronze sandals we saw on the runway. She also wore a version of the large crystal necklace, without the choker aspect.

Rihanna usually likes to go big and bold, so I’m surprised she toned down that part of the look, but I guess wearing a choker when singing live wouldn’t be such a smart move.

Flawless makeup and her cute pixie cropped ‘do, which I much-prefer of all her hairstyles, completed her look.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Erdem – Nobel Peace Prize Concert

Sarah Jessica Parker and Gerard Butler hosted the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway this evening.

Even though Gerard (in Ermenegildo Zegna) stands head-and-shoulders above SJP, she still looks quite statuesque in her Erdem Spring 2013 gown.

The sky-blue long-sleeve lace embroidered gown could be mistaken for a crop-top and maxi skirt, but the look actually has a sheer insert along the midriff.

A silver ring, wavy tresses and shimmering silver eye shadow completed her look.

Alicia Keys In David Koma – Wetten, Dass…?

Alicia Keys was also one of the guest performers joining Rihanna on the hit German TV show, ‘Wetten, dass…?’ on Saturday evening.

Performing her hit single, ‘Girl On Fire’, the American singer donned a David Koma Spring 2013 frock.

Ensuring she was kept cool in her temperature-rising performance, her black-and-blue dress with a patterned bodice and fitted skirt had cut-out details at the waist.

A silver linked waistband, which complemented the toecaps on the Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, ensured this modified version of the runway look still had an edge.

Florence Welch In Gucci – Florence And The Machine London Concert

I was very excited to attend the Florence and the Machine concert which was held at the O2 in London yesterday evening.

The show started with Florence making a dramatic entrance wearing an embellished cape over her Gucci Fall 2012 gown.

Her dark and dramatically decadent Gucci gown was fully revealed when the beat kicked in and Florence danced barefoot around the stage.

The black bell-sleeved gown embodying the gothic romance of Frida Giannini’s Fall 2012 collection featured delicate layers of super-fine tulle with scatterings of precisely folded emerald sequins, beautifully reflecting the stage lights.

After touring the world over, Florence shared that it was good to be home playing at the arena she first visited as a kid on a Science trip with her school.

Kylie Minogue In Julien Macdonald – The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Kylie Minogue made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last week, where she performed her 80s hit ‘The Locomotion’ which is from her latest ‘Abbey Road Sessions’ album.

The singer wore a bold, brightly coloured Julien Macdonald Spring 2013 dress.

Her fun, fringed 20s halter dress was styled with a matching lip colour and bouncy, soft, curly tresses.

Spiked platform platform heels completed her look.

Celine Dion In Versace – 2012 Bambi Awards

Celine Dion also performed at the 2012 Bambi Awards held at the Stadthalle Düsseldorf in Germany yesterday evening.

She sang ‘River Deep Mountain High’ so, of course, she had to pay homage to Tina Turner’s 60s classic hit by wearing a fringed frock by Versace.

The Spring 2013 gold halter dress was worn without the black-and-gold waistband, but she did opt for the nude strappy booties we saw on the runway.

Opting for the same hairstyle she had on the red carpet and to collect her award, she completed her sexy look with gold jewels.

Does Celine go a long way towards recovering some of the damage done to this collection by Heidi Klum.
