Rihanna In Versace – 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Rihanna In Versace - 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Rihanna performed her latest single, ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’ onstage at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (March 29) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore black Adam Selman dress with the rest of her look, which included a green fur, combined with thigh high green patent leather boots, a pair of Versace sunglasses with a silver Medusa on the side and a gold and green choker, all from the Versace Fall 2015 collection.

Some might say that this look was an ode to Lil Kim’s ’90s risqué, trendsetting style. I would say that Rihanna and Versace are a perfect brand fit and this look works as a perfect performance piece.

I am also delighted that this look signals that she doesn’t appear to be chained to her current contract.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Nickelodeon's 28th Annual Kids' Choice Awards - Show

Emma Stone accepted the ‘Favourite Movie Actress’ award for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ onstage during 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held at The Forum on Saturday (March 28) in Inglewood, California, in bullish fashion.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 rock chick look I was expecting to see worn by Kate Moss, Chloe Sevigny or Jennifer Connelly.

I can’t say it’s my favourite look for Emma, as for me it feels a tad out of sync with her style, but the look is perfect for a fun night out at the Kids Choice Awards.

Michelle Obama In Zac Posen – BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock!’

Michelle Obama In Zac Posen - BET's 'Black Girls Rock!'

Michelle Obama attended the BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock!’ event at NJ Performing Arts Center on Saturday (March 28) in Newark, New Jersey where she received a standing ovation for her powerful, inspirational speech.

After wearing so much colour and prints during her tour of Asia last week, some might be relieved that the First Lady opted for a white, off-the-shoulder, knee-length dress from Zac Posen’s Fall 2015 collection, which marries classic elegance with contemporary design.

I love how the bustier gives this look a hint of sex appeal and the styling of the look, which included silver jewels and Jimmy Choo pumps, complemented the delicate embellishments on her frock.

I’m sure there will be some debate about her shoulders being on display, but I think she looks undeniably chic from head to toe and even as a lover of colour and print, I think this look beats all of her looks from the Asian tour.

Paloma Faith In Armani Privé, Giles & Dolce & Gabbana – 2015 BRIT Awards

Paloma Faith In Armani Privé 2015 BRIT Awards

It was a busy night for Paloma Faith, who attended the 2015 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 25) in London, England.

Following the red carpet, she gave us a moving rain-soaked performance before collecting her award for ‘Best British Female Artist’.

Here is a rundown of her three looks.

Red Carpet: Despite this look being a re-run, I loved seeing this Armani Privé Fall 2014 tulle bustier dress with red polka dots and black veil net with small raised red chenille decorations on the red carpet once again. I’m still in awe of how elegant and refined the look is. Paloma does it justice, toning down her theatrics for a sleek hairstyle and bold red lip. You may remember that Rocio Munoz Morales wore this same dress during Sanremo 2015.

Kim Kardashian In Julien Macdonald – 2015 BRIT Awards

Kim Kardashian In Julien Macdonald - 2015 BRIT Awards

Kim Kardashian attended the 2015 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 25) in London, England, where she was on hand to introduce her husband Kanye West’s performance, telling the crowd to be upstanding as if God himself was entering the room.

The reality TV star opted to wear a Julien Macdonald Fall 2015 black jumpsuit with the designer’s signature cut-out detailing, which leaves me almost speechless.

The words ‘how?’, ‘why?’ and ‘do you possess a mirror?’ immediately spring to mind, as this is so very unflattering in every conceivable way.
