Last night fans were stunned when Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z arrived on stage to join Alicia Keys whose “Freedom” tour was held in New York’s Madison Square Gardens last night.
Wearing a black lace Dolce & Gabbana lace bustier dress, Beyonce joined Alicia on stage to perform their new single “Put It In A Love Song” which John Galliano recently used during his Christian Dior Fall 2010 presentation.
Bey’s hubbie Jay-Z later surprised fans by joining Alicia on stage to perform their hit single “Empire State of Mind”.
Wow. Three great performers for the price of one.
Beyonce paired her dress with a ‘Sasha Fierce’ pair of Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator studded heels and silver jewels.
Blake Lively had our jaws on the floor when she wore this same dress to the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ New York Premiere last year.
Both have amazing legs to pull of this sexy look.
I love Bey when she curls her hair like this, poker straight doesn’t always work for me.

Now that New York Fashion Week, the BAFTAs and the Elle Style Awards is over, I can catch up on all the other looks I missed last week.
Jennifer Lopez attended the 60th Sanremo Song Festival in San Remo, Italy last week where she performed for a pack audience.
The singer appears to have fallen in love with Balmain, because this is the second look from the Balmain Spring 2010 collection she’s worn whilst performing.
The first one was way too tight, but this military jacket fits her nicely.
As much as I like the Balmain jacket with the gold fringed epaulets, the whole look feels a bit dated.
This is mostly due to those 2000-and-late shredded skinny lack black jeans which Rihanna and half of young Hollywood wore on a daily basis last year.
As someone pointed out recently, the only person really doing justice to Balmain at the moment is Celine Dion, who may have been one of the first celebrities to discover the brand.
Style wise JLo always seems a step behind everyone else at the moment.

At LIV nightclub during Superbowl weekend Jennifer Lopez performed her recent hit single to the delight of the crowds.
The diva wore the Balmain Spring 2010 dress which caused much controversy when Demi Moore wore it on the cover of W magazine.
I feel Jennifer will also cause some kind of controversy in her silver version because it’s clearly too small for her.
She’s busting – literally – out of her dress, which has been modified to give her more skirt.
This is a perfectly acceptable stage costume, but she really isn’t doing the dress or herself any favours.
Her dress is paired with crystal embellished tights and Christian Louboutin heels.

Big thanks to Clara who identified the errr…jumpsuit Rihanna wore last night when she performed at the “Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam”.
Her look was from the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which are never used to seeing off the runway.
I’m not surprised at the look, I’m more surprised Rihanna opted for a black version.
Your thoughts please.

Beyonce Knowles had an amazing 2009, so it wasn’t a surprise that she picked up a record 6 Grammy’s including Song of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.
During her performance at the ceremony last night she sang a mix of “If I Were A Boy” followed by “You Oughta Know”
She wore a black Atelier Versace Fall 2009 leather mini-dress with a metallic enriched bustier.
Her peep-toe Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots were just as fierce as her dress.
This was my favourite Bey look of the night.

Beyonce collected her 6 awards wearing an Armani Privé chain metal silver and gold mini-dress.
Her breath-taking dress with dramatic shoulders was encrusted with Swarovski crystals which you can appreciate in the close up.
Bey’s look was paired with Ruthie Davis gold sandals and a supersized earrings.

Celine Dion wasn’t seen walking the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards, but she did dazzle on stage when she joined Smokey Robinson, Usher, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson to perform Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song”.
Time appears to have stood still for the diva who showed off her legs wearing a gold heavily embellished Aquilano.Rimondi Spring 2010 mini dress, which had matching cuffs and white chiffon sleeves.
Gold heels completed her look.

Whilst enjoying the other performances of the night with husband Rene Angelil, Celine was papped in her seat wearing a rhinestone embellished Balmain Fall 2009 white jacket.
Her look was paired with leather pants and a black tank top.
I love both looks. I don’t have a bad word to say about either as she looks absolutely amazing.

This is the 3rd time we have seen a look from Mark Fast on the red carpet, so I’m very happy the Canadian knitwear designer is getting a lot of love from celebrities at the moment.
Earlier this week we saw Anouck Lepere wearing a white dress from his Spring 2009 collection and prior to that Rihanna wore an orange dress from his Fall 2009 collection.
Leighton Meester wore a black scoop neck knit dress from the designers recent Spring 2010 collection which I actually like on her, despite recently falling out of love with Leigton’s “edgy” style.
The look was paired with Christian Louboutin leopard print ankle boots.
I love the look, I’m not frighten by the make-up, but what is up with the fake beauty spot?
She continues to baffle me.
