Rihanna In Zac Posen – First Annual Diamond Ball for the Clara Lionel Foundation Performance

Rihanna and The Clara Lionel Foundation Presents The Inaugural Diamond Ball - Inside

Rihanna performed on stage during her Diamond Ball for The Clara Lionel Foundation held at The Vineyard on Thursday (December 11) in Beverly Hills, California.

A big performance needs a big gown and they don’t come much bigger than a Zac Posen gown.

Having worn a gown by the same designer for the red carpet, she opted to go bigger, donning a midnight-blue duchesse and taffeta strapless ball gown from the Resort 2015 collection, which dominated the stage.

Opting for yet another stunning Chopard necklace, this Met Gala-worthy gown was brimming with both drama and glamour – i.e. it couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for Rihanna.

Freida Pinto In Elie Saab Couture – Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2014

Freida Pinto In Elie Saab Couture - Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2014

The Nobel Peace Prize concert took place at the Oslo Spektrum on Thursday (December 11) in Oslo, Norway, hosted by Queen Latifah with Freida Pinto on hand to honour this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winners, Kailash Satyarthi of India and Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan.

Queen Latifah opted to man up wearing a black and white contrast suit, while Freida was the picture of perfection in an Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture gown.

While I had this stunning coral-pink strapless silk crepe gown with embroidered appliqué on my wish list for Amy Adams, it does look gorgeous against Freida’s caramel skin.

Opting not to make use of the gown’s thigh-high slit, the luxurious piece was simply styled with a pair of drop earrings and a collection of chunky bracelets.

Miranda Kerr returned to Tokyo, Japan, to attend the Samantha Thavasa 20th Anniversary Party held at Tokyo Dome City Hall on Wednesday (December 10) to fulfil her duties as ambassador for the brand.

Returning to a familiar fitted dress silhouette, she selected a white burnt-out brocade long-sleeve dress from Jonathan Simkhai’s Spring 2015 collection, which taps into modern elegance.

Styled with a pair of bubblegum-pink Louboutins to match her bag, the look was completed with signature wavy tresses and a glossy lip.

Carey Mulligan In Alexander McQueen – 2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Carey Mulligan In Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014 - 2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Carey Mulligan presented the Best Design Award during at the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at the London Palladium on Sunday (November 30) in London, England.

The British actress wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014 black satin ruffled dress with black Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo’ sandals.

I don’t know about you but my first reaction to this was “what a waste”.

Such a stunning dress deserved a red carpet moment and frankly better styling.

It’s rare that McQueen can look so blah, but Carey managed to make the impossible, possible.

Rihanna In Tom Ford – The Concert For Valor

Rihanna In Tom Ford - The Concert For Valor

Following the fun she had at the White House the day before, Rihanna got down to business performing during ‘The Concert For Valor’ held at The National Mall on Tuesday (November 11) in Washington, DC.

She opted to wear another Tom Ford Spring 2015 design, this time without any boobies on display.

The fully sequined black jumpsuit with a flowing cape was enhanced with a beautiful dazzling Chopard necklace which took the look up a level, mixing modern and vintage properties.

Styled with her favourite Manolo Blahnik sandals, just a touch of spice via her red lips and nails completed her look.

Lily Allen In Ashish & Marios Schwab – Sushisamba Second Anniversary

Lily Allen In Ashish & Marios Schwab - Sushisamba Second Anniversary

Lily Allen performed at Sushisamba in London on Tuesday (November 11) to celebrate the restaurant’s second anniversary, where she donned two looks.

Performance: Ashish seems to be Lily’s go-to designer for onstage looks. No doubt the shimmer and sparkle, plus the street-urban overtones, continue to be the big appeal. On this occasion she selected a white layered organza crop top and Ashish sequinned embellished track pants from the Fall 2014 collection, which she amped up with purple satin pumps.

Party: For the party the singer changed into a black Marios Schwab Spring 2015 strapless mini dress with buckle detailing and flowing nude chiffon draped panels, which I loved on the runway, but not so much on Lily. It does nothing for her. I would prefer to see this on someone really leggy like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley or Anne Hathaway, and the necklaces are overkill.
