Victoria Beckham In Louis Vuitton – Out In New York City

Victoria Beckham In Louis Vuitton - Out In New York City

Victoria Beckham was recently spotted out in New York City, where she spent time fulfilling speaking engagements as a new United Nations ambassador.

The designer, who has also been splitting her time in London for the opening of her flagship store, veered away from her own eponymous label and opted for a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 ensemble.

Maintaining the more relaxed silhouette that we’ve seen from her of late, she put her own spin on this mannish number by wearing the knit vest and the white, frill-collar button-down shirt loosely un-tucked.

Rather than the slick vinyl black pants from the runway, she dressed down in a more relaxed pair of dark cropped trousers, which cemented the look’s casual, street-chic appeal.

You may remember that Charlotte Gainsbourg wore the exact replica of this runway look earlier this year. Which version do you prefer?

Rosamund Pike In Louis Vuitton & Marni – The Today Show

Rosamund Pike In Louis Vuitton & Marni - The Today Show

Rosamund Pike was spotted making her way to a studio in New York City to make a guest appearance on ‘The Today Show’ on Wednesday (September 24) to continue to promote her latest movie, ‘What We Did on Our Holiday’.

The British actress, who has been wearing a lot of black of late, wore a head-to-toe ultra-chic nude maternity look.

I love each element of her look starting with her Louis Vuitton 60s-style mini dress, which elegantly skims her bump.

Styled with a luxe Marni Spring 2014 leather collarless coat and patent-leather Marni ankle-strap pumps, I’m sure some might find this too one note; however, I’m charmed by the sophistication of this look as I was starting to worry this was going to be a maternity blackout.

Jessica Simpson In McQ Alexander McQueen – Out In New York City

Jessica Simpson In McQ Alexander McQueen - Out In New York City

Jessica Simpson made a guest appearance on the ‘Today Show’ on Wednesday (September 23), where she slammed the media for criticizing her post-baby body.

Usually favouring a bandage-style dress, the singer opted for something a lot different, donning a McQ Alexander McQueen mini dress featuring an artfully draped top and straight-cut skirt comprised of two tartan plaid patterns.

McQ is quite a rebellious brand, so I love the idea of mismatched plaids. The military-style belt further toughens up the look, plus it nips Jessica in at the waist.

I have a feeling many will dislike this look, but I found myself liking it from the ankles up. Mostly for the change in direction.

Not only am I over platform shoes, but I also think some cute open-te booties would’ve been better in tune with the spirit of this look. Had she opted for a blazer with this look, perhaps I would’ve given the shoes a pass.

You can buy Jessica’s McQ Alexander McQueen Tartan Drape Top Dress from
MatchesFashion.com, Net-A-Porter.com, theCorner.com, Nordstrom and McQ Alexander McQueen.

Michelle Monaghan In Preen – Huffington Post Live

Michelle Monaghan In Preen - Huffington Post Live

Michelle Monaghan was seen leaving a studio in New York City yesterday afternoon (September 17) following a guest appearance on ‘Huffington Post Live’ to promote her new drama, ‘Fort Bliss.’

The actress wore a contemporary yet feminine look from Preen’s Resort 2015 collection featuring a short-sleeved navy top accented with a dual-colour red and white belt paired with a navy polka-dot skirt with a bonded fine layer and chic sheer finish.

I have always admired Michelle’s style, mostly because it is one you can never predict and this look is no exception; however, I don’t find myself that excited about the nude pumps.

I, perhaps, would’ve opted for red or even a hazy light-blue, picking out the polka dots.

Do you like her footwear choice? If not, what would you have chosen?

Rita Ora In Fyodor Golan & Richard Nicoll – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire

Rita Ora In Fyodor Golan - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

Rita Ora was spotted headed to Iggy Azalea’s concert held at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, England yesterday evening (September 17) before heading to the Box Nightclub for her own performance.

Diane Kruger was the first to bag herself a look fresh off the Prabal Gurung Spring 2015 runway, then Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and here we see Rita following up.

The British red-lip-loving singer wore a Fyodor Golan Spring 2015 mirrored outfit consisting of a cropped jacket and A-line skirt paired with a Richard Nicoll Swarovski power stretch crop top.

The 90s holographic trend had a mini resurgence on the Spring 2013 runways, and it looks like Rita is bringing it back for 2015.

You can’t look at this without the word futuristic coming to mind, and while this is quite a tricky look to pull off I think Rita has the personality and attitude to make it work.

Do you agree or will nothing she wears work for you?

Kate Hudson In Atea Oceanie – Soho Hotel London

Kate Hudson In Atea Oceanie - Soho Hotel London

Kate Hudson was spotted leaving the Soho Hotel in London, England on Wednesday (September 17).

Working a chic season-transitional tailored look, she wore an Atea Oceanie grey wool sleeveless blazer and matching high-waisted trousers which have me in total awe.

While grey is not my preferred colour, I adore this look from head to toe. It’s not often Kate opts for suiting, but when she does the results are always spectacular and very well presented.

I love how the blazer elongates her body, as do the high-waisted trousers, creating the ultimate classy style statement.

Her accessories, including grey-frame shades, nude Brian Atwood pumps and a Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Fiamma’ bag, work perfectly in tune with this chic offering.
