Most Improved Award
For someone so young and so pretty Gabrielle Union is not usually that impressive on the red carpet.

She always dresses too maturely or in really dark colours, so I was happy to see her glistened on the red carpet at the 41st NAACP Image Awards.

Gabrielle looked beautiful wearing a Pamella Roland Spring 2010 silver modern beaded cocktail dress with long sleeves.

I love her whole look which included silver Jimmy Choo heels and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

The lighter streaks in her hair makes her appear younger.

Least Flattering Award
Sandra Bullock arrived at the 41st NAACP Image Awards on Friday night with her husband Jesse James.

Sandra’s Lee McQueen tribute was admirable, but her Alexander McQueen Resort 2009 dress with an embroidered humming bird and floral detail doesn’t suit her at all.

It looks great on the runway, but the asymmetrical flamenco-style hemline, plus the cold-shoulder detail and that purple clutch don’t work for me at all.

I also think that if you’re going to wear a dress like this, a lighter strappy sandal would work better.

Her Sergio Rossi heels feel too heavy for this look.

Couldn’t find one positive from this look.

Best Dressed Award
Mo’Nique did walk the red carpet at the 41st NAACP Image awards, but this portrait picture taken of her at the event was the only one which showed the detail in the bodice of her Tadashi Shoji Spring 2010 gown.

The basket weave detail is what really makes this look so interesting as it adds a lot of texture to her look.

Mo’Nique’s confidence on the red carpet has continued to grow this award season, and as a result she’s giving us more impressive looks.

She was definitely one of the best on the night, as both her hair and make-up were flawless.

She wasn’t only a winner on the red carpet, she was also a winner at the event accepting the “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” award.

Simple Yet Stunning Award
On Friday night, stars took to the red carpet for the 41st NAACP Image Awards in LA.

Selena Gomez was one of the many stars who looked gorgeous on the night.

The teen actress looked beautiful wearing a Georges Hobeika Signature Spring 2010 gown.

I normally moan about Selena dressing too old for her age, but on this occasion I love the simplicity of this look.

When teen queen Taylor Swift is dazzling us with embellishments each time she hits the red carpet, Selena opts for a simple ivory strapless gown which has is gathered on the bodice and waist.

She could’ve then opted to over accessorize to make a big statement, but just dark navy earrings and silver clutch complete the look.

I think she looks so good that she even outshines the model.

Were Anna Kendrick and Anna Paquin really at the same event?

Because you could get to more different look at the 12th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards.

Anna arrived in a stunning Elie Saab gown, whereas Anna arrived wearing an futuristic Marios Schwab Fall 2009 mini dress.

Anna seems to be the current red carpet bad girl who’s going against the grain.

At the SAG Awards you’ll remember she wore an reptile print Alexander McQueen mini dress which many of you didn’t think was event appropriately, well oops she’s done it again.

I love this look mostly because she tried something different and I just love that print.

The icing on the cake would’ve been if she’d tied her hair back in a tight pony and lost the necklace.

When I saw Anna Kendrick on the red carpet at the 12th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards last night, I said “This is what she should’ve worn to the BAFTAs”.

The actress was a knock out in this Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture strapless gown which I simply adore.

Her white strapless gown is accented with circular appliqués and hints of crystals cascading down her gown.

This is a stunning princess gown if I ever saw one.

As much as I’m hyperventilating over Anna in this gown, I’m also feeling a huge sense of disappointment that she didn’t consider this gown for a grander stage like the BAFTAs or the Oscars.

Despite that she’s still BDOTW worthy.

After the “Alice In Wonderland” Royal World Premiere last night, Mia Wasikowska changed for the after party for the movie.

She opted for a black RM by Roland Mouret Spring 2010 jumpsuit paired with tight and black heels.

I hate to be predictable, but I hate the tights.

By wearing tights the asymmetrical hem of the jumpsuit and a lot of the detail on the bottom half are swallowed up by the tights.

Bare legs and strappy sandals would’ve have been much more appealing imo.

Other than that this is a great look for the young actress.
