Ruby Rose In Vionnet – ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ LA Premiere

Ruby Rose attended the LA premiere of ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ on Monday (January 23).

While she started the year on a strong note, the trend did not continue with this Vionnet Fall 2016 gown.

Not only does the dress looked as if it was ripped from the sewing room, unfinished and still hanging with needles and thread, it does nothing to accentuate Ruby’s toned figure.

It also is in major competition with the ink on her arms, as both provide an overwhelming amount of visual stimuli.

Taken alone, her more natural makeup look couldn’t have been more stunning—and a fresh departure from her recent statement lips. But, try as I might, I simply cannot get on board with this look that ultimately had a frumpy effect on the edgy actress.

Naomie Harris In Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Moonlight’ Special Screening

Naomie Harris attended a special screening of ‘Moonlight’ on Monday (January 23) in London.

The actress once again proved how striking she looks in black wearing a black and cream striped top with Cushnie et Ochs colour-block pants for an ensemble that ironically had none of the overt slit-to-there sexiness for which the designer is known.

The tonal fluidity of the solid top, as was presented on the runway, helped streamline the look of the pants, as the wide silhouette can be tricky to wear.

However, it’s nice to see Naomie bring her own unique style personality to them.

Kate Beckinsale In Christian Siriano – The London Critics’ Circle Film Awards

Kate Beckinsale took home the award for British/Irish Actress of the Year at The London Critics’ Circle Film Awards in London on Sunday (January 22), where she also joined Naomie Harris.

There’s something about a cape that generally adds a compelling layer of drama to any design, and this Christian Siriano Spring 2017 white dress was no different.

The look had the sort of effortless allure that captivates by virtue of its simplicity, but I’m so glad Kate made it her own with the black belt at the waist.

Giving her favoured ponytail a break, she wore her locks in relaxed, tousled waves as such a dress would demand.

Zoey Deutch In Versace – ‘Park City Live

Zoey Deutch has been making the rounds at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and, on Sunday (January 22), she attended ‘Park City Live Presents The Hub’ in Park City, Utah.

Bringing new, youthful meaning to a power suit, the actress’s Versace Fall 2016 navy and powder-blue entrance struck a chic chord.

The ensemble’s crisp tailoring was accented by the energetic lines that bolted from top to bottom. Naturally radiant makeup and her glossy, on-trend waves were all she needed to finish the look.

Laura Dern In Bottega Veneta – ‘Wilson’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Laura Dern attended the ‘Wilson’ premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

Making a bold splash amidst an array of less colour-forward ensembles we’ve seen thus far at Sundance, the actress wore a Bottega Veneta Spring 2017 ensemble.

A few lapses in execution, namely the visible bra showing through the sheer cranberry sweater, and the occasionally awkward drape of the shiny red-orange skirt, which could have passed for a skirted version of raincoat, might have dampened your spirits toward the look.

However, there’s no denying the hue was beautiful on Laura.

Mandy Moore In Alex Perry – 2017 Annual Artois Awards

Mandy Moore was also at the 2017 Annual Artois Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (January 19), joining Lily Collins and Yara Shahidi.

The ‘This Is Us” actress flaunted her figure wearing an Alex Perry Pre-Fall 2017 ‘Phoenix’ figure-hugging dress.

Inspired by the lookbook styling, she wore a lighter pink Sophia Webster ‘Coco Crystal’ embellished pump to round this contemporary look which see’s her once again move away from the girlie frocks we’d loved her for, to something with a bit of an edge.
