Olivia Wilde In Elie Saab – ‘Kodachrome’ LA Premiere

Olivia Wilde joined Elizabeth Olsen for the LA premiere of ‘Kodachrome’ on Wednesday (April 18) in Hollywood, California.

The actress was a marvel of sequins, rhinestones and lace in her Elie Saab Fall 2018 ensemble.

The designer is known for creating ornate, ethereal gowns so it was nice to see separates — and inky black ones no less. It was also wonderful to see that they still retained the magical quality of the dresses.

She added some sex appeal to the look by layering a bra underneath the blazer. The open neckline ties in the lace panels in the skirt. The latter detail flitted from being modest to revealing, depending on how she posed.

Yara Shahidi In Tory Burch – Teva Festival Styling Suite

Yara Shahidi stopped by the Teva Festival Styling Suite at Mama Shelter on Wednesday (April 18) in Los Angeles, California.

My first reaction when seeing this was, ‘This is so cute.’

We’re used to seeing the ‘Grown-ish’ actress experiment with many fashion-forward looks on the red carpet so it was nice to see her in a more casual ensemble and working it as well any gown.

She teamed cuffed jeans and white flatform sandals with a Tory Burch Devon Packable jacket from the Spring 2018 collection.

The geometric design coupled with the bright yellow zip has such vivaciousness. Seeing Yara in the topper, puts a smile on my face.

Mackenzie Davis In Calvin Klein – ‘Tully’ LA Premiere

Mackenzie Davis shone at the ‘Tully’ LA premiere on Wednesday (April 18), joining Charlize Theron.

The actress popped against the black backdrop in her sunny Calvin Klein Spring 2018 top and skirt.

The effervescent separates might appear simple in construction with the soft draping but looks can be deceiving.

Some might be wondering whether she left a label on the look. It’s actually a stamp reading ‘Industrial Dip Molded 100% Nitrile/Synthetic Rubber.’

I’m sure that completely changes things for many as the refined pieces are not the first things that comes to mind when thinking of the material.

I don’t mind her taking inspiration from the forest green heels from the runway as she added the Charlotte Olympia Pandora clutch to play into the yellow tones.

Charlize Theron In Christian Dior – ‘Tully’ LA Premiere

Charlize Theron made a stunning appearance at the LA premiere for ‘Tully’ on Wednesday (April 18).

Her long, pleated black maxi dress from Dior’s Fall 2018 collection was equal parts chic and contemporary, with the statement coming from the butterfly motifs.

I adore how the Fred Leighton earrings played a huge part amping up the desirability of this look.

To me, this is proof that understate elegance doesn’t have to be plain or boring.

Paris Jackson In Elie Saab – CASA of Los Angeles’ 2018 Evening to Foster Dreams Gala

Paris Jackson attended the CASA Of Los Angeles’ 2018 Evening To Foster Dreams Gala held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday (April 18) in California.

I love how her Elie Saab tonal-green palm-print gown evokes a sun-soaked tropical destination which was the theme of the designers Resort 2018 collection.

The print and open back provided enough drama, so I felt the necklaces were really unnecessary here.

Earrings by Established as well as earrings and rings by EF Collection and an box clutch completed her look.

Styling wise, less would’ve been more.

Kelsey Asbille In Salvatore Ferragamo – Food Bank For New York City’s Can Do Awards Dinner

Kelsey Asbille attended the 2018 Food Bank For New York City’s Can Do Awards dinner on Tuesday (April 17).

The actress looked ready for spring in a Salvatore Ferragamo jacket, blouse, knit pencil skirt and sandals all from the Spring 2018 collection.

The coral pink has such a vivacious mood, adding such personality to the prim silhouettes. The effect is enhanced with the subtle interplay of the textiles.

Of course, the statement piece is the short-sleeved coat with its wet-look, patent finish.

My only wish is that she wore the vivid orange shoes from the runway. The tangerine carpet works with the look, but it’s not the same. The black sandals are rather jarring against the warm pink pieces.

If she wanted to deviate from the runway, an ivory or gold sandal would have been more harmonious.

Meghan Markle In Altuzarra – CHOGM London 2018

Meghan Markle attended a reception at the Commonwealth Youth Forum on a gloriously sunny day in London today (April 18) with her fiancé Prince Harry.

The former actress wore an Altuzarra Resort 2018 pinstripe dress styled with a Camilla and Marc Marguerite blazer, Tamara Mellon Paramour pumps and an Oroton Avalon crossbody bag.

I’ve loved the presentation of all of Meghan’s looks so far, but this one didn’t work for me.

I love the dress, but that blazer was so unnecessary.

Even if she was required to wear it as some to add some formality to her look, she should’ve worn it properly as it’s too structured to be slung over the shoulders successfully and comes off looking awkward and bulky.

The crossbody bag feels too informal. This was a meeting at the Commonwealth with delegates. Not brunch on Solane Square with your gal pals.

You may remember that Kerry Washington wore this same dress in navy last month.
