Katherine Jenkins In Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2013 - Royal Ascot

Katherine Jenkins made a brilliantly bold entrance today at the Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse in England.

The singer was a vision in a vibrantly hued, colour-blocked dress from Roksanda Ilincic’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The hot orange and pink shades were mirrored in the impressively artistic fascinator, which topped off this frock with a grand flourish.

While the rationale behind her nude Anya Hindmarch ‘Seymour’ clutch was probably to avoid distracting from her strong look, the opposite effect seemed to happen, as I found myself focusing on the odd-colour-out.

With her vivid Dayglo hues, Katherine smartly wore a daintier sandal and kept her makeup rather neutral, while slicking her hair into a simple updo.

You may recall that Naomie Harris wore this dress earlier this year, styled to much different effect.

Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland - 'Devious Maids' LA Premiere

Eva Longoria attended the premiere of ‘Devious Maids,’ hosted yesterday at Bel-Air Bay Club in Beverly Hills, California.

While many of the TV show’s leading ladies opted for punchy cocktail dresses or fluid gowns, executive producer Eva paraded out a refreshing Pamella Roland Spring 2013 zipper jumpsuit.

Featuring a twist on a mock peplum waist, the blush-white design literally brought sexy back with sheer side and back panel insets.

My wish for this look was that the pants, which translated as a bit loose and long, were slightly more tailored, especially after viewing the architectural lookbook version.

The oversized envelope clutch also compromised the effect, as the bag was overwhelmingly large for my taste—and for Eva’s petite frame. Patent nude peep-toe pumps by Brian Atwood, minimal jewels and a pretty pink lippie were far less intrusive.

Taylor Schilling In Calvin Klein - Netflix Presents 'Orange Is The New Black' Special

Taylor Schilling attended a special screening yesterday for ‘Orange Is The New Black,’ presented by Netflix, at AMC Loews Broadway 4 in Santa Monica, California.

Wearing neither orange or black, the actress took a lighter approach in her white angora, double-faced cotton halter top and belted, front-slit skirt from Calvin Klein’s Resort 2013 collection.

While the wide buckle belt was worn loose and low on the runway, I found myself wishing it was cinched a bit more snugly on Taylor’s svelte frame.

Neutral-toned, cross-strap pointy heels were a safer choice than the catwalk’s blocky platforms and added a retro flair.

Throwing her blonde hair into an effortless, piece-y updo and flaunting a radiant, bronzed complexion, she exuded a cool Cali vibe.

Ahna O’Reilly In Paule Ka - ‘Fruitvale Station’ LA Premiere

Ahna O’Reilly joined co-stars Octavia Spencer and Melonie Diaz on the red carpet on Monday evening for the premiere of their latest movie, ‘Fruitvale Station’.

The pretty actress continues her great run promoting this movie, this time wearing a Paule Ka Black Carpet 2013 Collection white crepe cocktail dress with cut-out details.

Ahna styled her frock with Jimmy Choo ‘Malika’ perforated booties – giving us a pleasant break from the standard black or nude pumps we are presented with on a daily basis – and a chic side-parted bun, ensuring we got a good look at the bow detail at the back.

You may remember that Miranda Cosgrove wore a similar version of this dress earlier this month to the ‘Despicable Me 2’ Sydney premiere.

Kylie Minogue In Anthony Vaccarello - The 40 40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party

Kylie Minogue attended The 40/40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party at The 40/40 Club in New York City.

Before joining Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z inside, the singer/actress posed on the red carpet, showcasing her Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2013 micro-mini dress.

The simple, sexy design, which features a white top and wrapped metallic-silver mini skirt, should come as some relief to those tired of Kylie’s twee dresses.

For someone who has an extensive shoe closet, I’m a little disappointed with her simple black pumps on this occasion. The runway heels are much more impressive.

A black clutch with gold hardware, a gold bracelet and fuchsia-pink lippie provided the finishing touches.

Aside from the accessories, I love this look.
