Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Saint Laurent – The BRIT Awards 2018

Fresh from New York Fashion Week, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley dazzled on the red carpet this evening (February 21) for The Brit Awards 2018 in London.

Now this ode to the ’80s I can fully get behind.

I love how the sequins and the dramatic fan volume combine for a revamped take on Saint Laurent’s signature LBDs which perfectly embodies the label’s rock’n’roll aesthetic.

Styled with tights, a Saint Laurent ‘Fetish’ clutch and Saint Laurent ‘Tower’ pumps, Rosie looks ready to get her party on.

Ellie Goulding In Stella McCartney – The BRIT Awards 2018

Ellie Goulding bucked the big gown The Brit Awards 2018 trend on the red carpet this evening (February 21), as favoured by Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.

She’s a great singer and a beautiful girl, but this Stella McCartney dress isn’t doing her any favours.

It’s like the dress came off the set from a bad ’80s movie with puffy shoulders and tiered skirt, but the biggest issue is just how unflattering the dress is.

I honestly feel sorry for her. She is so much better than this.

Rita Ora In Ralph & Russo Couture – The BRIT Awards 2018

Rita Ora made a typically dramatic entrance onto The Brit Awards 2018 red carpet this evening (February 21) in London, where she joined Paloma Faith and Dua Lipa.

The British singer has never met a feathered gown she didn’t love, which is why I’m not surprised she selected this Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture ombre piece.

I can see why she’s drawn, as the wispy feathers are seriously glamorous, with the corset adding some sex appeal before the ringlets bring things right back to girlie mode.

You can always rely on Rita to present a go-big moment, but did she shine brightly for you?

Paloma Faith In Ashish – The BRIT Awards 2018

Paloma Faith joined Dua Lipa on the red carpet for The BRIT Awards 2018 today (February 21) in London.

She arrived in the ultimate celebration piece from Ashish‘s Spring 2018 collection.

When you think of sequin’s, think of Ashish; as each piece the designer sends down the runway is always drenched with micro paillettes.

Adding a cascading ruffle and slide slit took this dazzling creation into glamorous terrority, which Paloma of course played up with her hair accessories and metallic Charlotte Olympia platforms.

Dua Lipa In Giambattista Valli Couture – The BRIT Awards 2018

The pictures are just coming in from The BRIT Awards 2018 in London this afternoon (February 21), with Dua Lipa taking to the red carpet first.

I’m not surprised she arrived early.

If I was wearing this pink Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Couture tiered tulle gown, I would want to ensure the carpet was clear to make my grand entrance with such grand masterpiece, and avoid people stepping on my 10ft train.

I did wonder if Dua was tempted to wear doc martins to give this look a punk rock edge, but she played up the girliness with strappy sandals.

You weren’t fans of Dua’s last outing in GBV, so how does this look fare?

Dua carried a white rose in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, as we saw displayed at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Anna Camp In J. Mendel – 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards

Anna Camp stepped onto the red carpet for the 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 20) in California, alongside Kerry Washington, Rachel Brosnahan, Sarah Hyland and Sally Field.

This J. Mendel Spring 2018 ruffled melon-hued dress sees the actress opt not to turn the tide on her usual girlie, ultra feminine aesthetic.

Would I want to see her rock an embellished Balmain jumpsuit?

Yes, for a nice change, but I also love that she knows who she is and what works best for her.

And this, works best for her.

Sonequa Martin-Green In Adam Selman – 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards

Sonequa Martin-Green joined Sally Field, Sarah Hyland and Kerry Washington on the red carpet for the 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 20) in California.

The ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ actress wore an Adam Selman Spring 2018 dress for the occasion.

Your knee-jerk reaction to this may have been, “why didn’t she add a belt?”

But I feel with the detailed feathered neckline taking all the focus, the dress should be allowed to flow fluidly without interruption.

She nailed this look for me.
