Lipstick Jungle, the show heralded as the new
Sex and the City, will finally hit UK TV screens tonight on Living TV at 10pm.
As usual we are far behind our US cousins, who are gearing up for Season 2, in a show that stars Brooke Shields as movie executive Wendy.
Kim Raver stars as Nico, editor-in-chief of a chic magazine, and Lindsay Price as Victory, a fashion designer. By all accounts these women with high-power jobs, display some serious high-power fashion.

The popular US show makes its return to US screens on Wednesday September, 24, on NBC.

The Constant Gardener actress Rachel Weisz was red hot on set, as she posed for a Halloween themed shoot for Vogue magazine in New York yesterday. Not sure which Vogue edition this shoot was for, but I would guess US.
When asked in my interview with Fashion Time Magazine how I i-D dresses, I told them that some are so unique, that you only need to look at them once to recognise them on a celebrity, and that was very much the case when I saw Rachel in this Giles Fall 2008 gown.
The red ensemble has a knitted top, and a satin skirt with a feather-esqe detailing cascading around the skirt to form a train at the back.
On the shoot she was accessorized with a red and black feathered mask, which she wore as a hat, red gloves, a stunning jeweled necklace and a pumpkin-face tote.
There was also a masked man and a costumed child model on set. Can’t wait to see the full spread in the October issue.

Gripping a huge microphone, Miley Cyrus appears on the cover of her album,
Breakout, wearing a modified
Gucci Resort 2008 halter-neck top and a pair of white jeans.
This album is her her first solo effort outside of her Hannah Montana moniker.
Breakout which is due out on July 22, is bound to satisfy the bubblegum-pop-loving kids, and adults, all over the world.

If you are anything like me you are hoping that the Sex And The City Movie recaptures the magic of the TV show.
These candids are from Sarah Jessica Park and Chris Noth’s Vogue shoot with famed photographer Annie Leibovit, last week in Central Park, on 5th Avenue and in Brooklyn.
Sarah Jessica Parker will appear on the cover of the May 2008 US Vogue, in order to promote the Sex And The City Movie, which is due to open in US cinemas on 30 May 2008.
Needless to say I adore her in all three ensembles, especially the Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Yesterday Jessica Alba donned a blonde wig for the shoot to promote her new movie
The Eye.
Whilst on route to her shoot after wardrobe, hair and make-up, I noticed that pregnant Jessica, was wearing a stunning Gucci 2008 Resort ensemble. Which to me makes her look very motherly for some strange reason.
I quite like her as a blonde.

Here is a sneak peak of an LA photoshoot Kate Moss was working on this week.
Kate is wearing two Donna Karan Spring 2008 ensembles. The first a red halter dress with a caramel/tan belt.
The second ensemble is a coffee coloured see-through top and a high waisted flower printed skirt.
Can’t wait to see the finished article.

Claudia Schiffer has been unveiled as the face of the
Chanel Spring 2008 advertising campaign after first featuring 20 years ago.
Karl Lagerfeld took personal charge of the three-day photoshoot for Chanel’s ready-to-wear spring collection in St Tropez in the South of France last week.
Claudia spent five years as the face of Chanel after Lagerfeld plucked her from obscurity.
But the pair fell out when the model was replaced in 1996, at the height of “heroin chic”.
