Red Carpet Fashion Awards

French singer, actress and Chanel muse is the cover star for Harper’s Bazaar UK’s July 2010 issue.

In an exclusive interview she reveals that she didn’t ‘tame’ wild-child Johnny Depp.

The 37-year-old Parisian smoulders in a rare ten-page photo-shoot shot by Cerdic Buchet wearing only Chanel Haute Couture – of course.

The full interview appears in the July issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK which is on sale Monday June 7, but here are some extracts from her interview.

On being in the spotlight at such an early age: “After “Joe Le Taxi”, people seemed to think, “Oh my God! This 14-year-old is so ambitious, she must have parents pushing their little child like a puppet.” But it was more than that. When I was little, I discovered that I loved to sing, and I loved to be onstage.” Read more…

Blake Lively is the cover star for Vogue US June 2010. This is her second American Vogue cover.

My girl looks supa dupa hot wearing a Michael Kors mint-green cashmere slashed top and white bikini bottoms on the cover.

Mario Testino also shot her wearing Versace, Gucci and Herve Leger.

Predictable brands I know, but she looks fabulous in all the pictures.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On her Green Lantern role: “All I want is to be a hero to my nephews and nieces. I’m going to be the coolest aunt ever.” Read more…

The beautiful and talented Cate Blanchett graces the cover of W Magazine’s June 2010 issue.

With her skin glistening courtesy of SK-II, she wears a Yves Saint Laurent Edition Soir’s silk satin bustier with Chopard earrings, LaCrasia gloves and a Hermès belt.

The rest of her editorial sees her wearing looks from the Etro Fall 2010 collection.

I loved this collection so I’m very happy that Lori Goldstein styled her in the two fabulous pieces. Let’s hope they make it onto the red carpet too.

In the upcoming issue the Australian actress gives us a rare and intimate look inside her profession, with a candid interview between her husband and theater partner, playwright Andrew Upton.

The magazine hits newsstands May 25, but you can read Cate’s interview at www.wmagazine.com.

Here are some extracts:

On her inaccurate public perception: “I’m so misunderstood! I’m not focused on what other people think of me. Some people get you and some people don’t, and to spend your life trying to make people understand how deep and complex and varied you are—I think that way lies madness.” Read more…

Kristen Stewart cheeky sports a smirk on the Elle US June 2010 cover.

The “Twilight” actress looks very comfortable on the cover wearing Emporio Armani blouse and Tommy Hilfiger paper bag-waist shorts.

The rest of her editorial sees her wearing a Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dress and from the outtakes I can see her wearing a black Versus Fall 2010 dress.

I think the edgy dresses from this collection would be a great brand fit for her.

In her interview Kristen talks about her cult status and stalker fan problems which sound quite scary.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On the madness that has become her life: “It’s insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. And the photographers, they’re vicious. They’re mean. They’re like thugs. I don’t event want to drive around by myself anymore. It’s f**king dangerous.” Read more…

I finally received my copy of American Vogue’s May 2010 magazine featuring the gorgeous Sarah Jessica Parker who graces the cover for the 5th time.

Mario Testino captured her wearing an amazing electric blue Calvin Klein dress.

The actress hits the cover just in time for the “Sex And The City 2″ movie which will finally be released this month. We are all looking forward to the fashion extravaganza of Halston, Cavalli and Pucci.

In SJP’s editorial she takes a softer, more classic approach wearing Christian Dior, Lanvin, Giambattista Valli, Chanel (my fave) and Vera Wang.

Here are some extracts from her interview, but you can read the whole full story at Vogue.com.

On having children with a surrogate mother: “Meeting your children rather than giving birth to them, it’s as if, um, it’s—suspended animation. The gestational experience is gone. It’s as if everything else disappears for a moment, and the world goes silent and—I can’t explain it except to say that nothing else existed. I don’t remember anything but the blanket on the bed that they were lying on and my husband’s face and their faces and my son’s. It’s literally as if sound is sucked from the room. Time stands still. It’s so different, and equally extraordinary.” Read more…

Leona Lewis appears on the cover of InStyle UK wearing a Preen printed dress.

In the rest of her editorial shot by Andreas Larsson we see her wearing Dolce & Gabbana and Yong.

In her interview Leona talks about Simon Cowell, her fashion favourites and her body issues.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On her relationship with Simon Cowell: “I’m very fiery and very passionate. We don’t argue, we debate.” Read more…
