Nicole Kidman graces the cover girl for the December 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, in which she is photographed with Baz Luhrmann, the Australian film director, screenwriter, and producer.

Both Luhrmann and Kidman have enjoyed a long working relationship, so it is no wonder they are so comfortable with each other in this shoot.

Nicole discloses that she fell pregnant while filming Australia. Here are some extracts from her interview.

On working with Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin: “There world is completely unusual and creative and beautiful and they are both renaissance people in a sense. They basically mould me, reinvent me, change me, know me inside and draw it out.”

On how she told Baz Luhrmann she was pregnant: “I remember sitting Baz down on a log and saying ‘I’ve got something to tell you. I’m pregnant’. Baz was moved to tears”

Heidi Klum graces the cover of the InStyle US December 2008 edition looking as stunning as ever, with her megawatt smile.

In her interview the Victoria’s Secret model talks about singing and her husband, Seal. Here are some extracts:

On her husband: “Sometimes I lie in bed and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, there’s Seal lying next to me. What’s he doing there?’ I get a smile on my face immediately. Our honeymoon period is definitely not over. [We] have date nights. We go to dinner or to the movies. We like to keep it romantic. Some people wake up in the morning and turn over when they see their mate. That’s not us.”

On how Seal has influenced her wardrobe: “I’ve gotten more stylish since I’ve been with my husband. I was always making fun of him because he has so many leather coats, jackets and shoes. But he looks hot. I want to look good for him. So I kind of stepped it up a bit.”

On her singing voice: “We sing all the time. He’s always rolling his eyeballs because I’m in the wrong key. But I know he’s laughing about it too. So I’m not a singer — who cares? Not everyone is Seal!”

She also reveals her five rules for succeeding in business.

Her amazing editorial features black and gold ensembles from the Resort and Spring 2009 collections.

Jennifer Aniston appears on the cover of US Vogue;s 2008 edition wearing a stunning red Narciso Rodriguez gown.

I have never have been a fan of Jennifer Aniston, something about the unwillingness to change her style, the blandness, and her neediness.

Her editorial is nice, but nothing ground-breaking and totally predictable.

Here are some extracts from her interview. Her comments about Sex And The City are so ironic.

On her rep as being unlucky in love: “There is more to me than just a tabloid girl. This whole ‘Poor lonely Jen’ thing, this idea that I’m so unlucky in love? I actually feel I’ve been unbelievably lucky in love. … I don’t feel like I’m supposed to be any further along or somewhere that I’m not. I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”

On Sex and the City: “I don’t know. I don’t…like…girls…whining…and complaining…about…wanting a man! I never liked Sex and the City, the kind of thing where women only feel empowered once they find the Man. It is just not up my alley. I don’t believe in it. There is nothing you can control about love.”

On the divorce: “I’ve got to tell you, it’s so vague at this point, it’s so faraway in my mind, I can’t even remember the darkness. I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split. … And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other.”

On her romance with John Mayer: “People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up.”

On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

Often I wonder what the fuss is about when it comes to Kate Moss, then I see an amazing editorial like this and I remember why. Kate looks outstanding for Vogue China’s December 2008 edition, shot by Mario Sorrenti.

Kate actually appears on the back of the magazine as Maggie Cheung takes the cover.

The supermodel poses seductively wearing a white tank dress, with a Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture patent studded belt.

And of course the editorial is even more amazing that the back cover.

It is very befitting that Kate is wearing the rock n’ roll dresses from the Balmain Fall 2008 collection, being the model rock n’ roll chick that she is.

Is there a cover that Beyonce Knowles is not gracing at the moment?

We have seen her in Essence, Gotham and InStyle US. As you can see there are 3 covers for this Winter 2008 issue. The magazine, prepared 50,000 ‘Obama’s in the House’ red, white and blue stickers to add to front cover.

Editor Stephen Gan said “The issues were on their way to newsstands and this was our own small way of commemorating the moment.”

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On her preparations for her 110-date tour starting next year: “When I’m onstage I’m aggressive and strong and not afraid of my sexuality. The tone of my voice gets different, and I’m fearless. I’m just a different person.”

On her alter ego, ‘Sasha Fierce’: “It’s a way for me to differentiate what I do onstage from who I really am – It’s a way for me to not lose myself, to keep my life in perspective, because it’s really hard sometimes to stay on earth when you’re a celebrity.”

On the her hectic life: “There’s so much going on, and so many people give you whatever you want and say everything you do is great. At this point, I kind of have it down. I know boundaries, and I can look at somebody and say I don’t want them in my circle. I’ve been doing this for twelve years professionally, and I’ve learned. it’s easier now. Fame is a lot of work, but it doesn’t consume my life. I’m not obsessed.”

On the moment just before she performs at her concerts: “It’s funny because right before the show I’m under the stage making sure my double-stick is in the right place, my pack is turned on, and my shoes have the stickies on the bottom so I don’t slip – all of these things that are so not glamorous. Then I take my last slip of water, clear my throat, close my eyes, and tell myself: “You are fierce. You are fierce. You are fierce!” And the second I take that first step and hear the crowd, I kind of transform. By the time I get up to the stage, I’m in the zone. It’s like I’m ready for war.”

OK she has same expressions in all the main pictures, but you can not deny the Dior and Rodarte editorials are amazing. ? the Dior.

The quite beauty that is Jennifer Connelly graces the cover of Marie Claire’s December 2008 edition.

The married Oscar winner’s latest movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still, co-stars Keanu Reeves. The movie is a remake of the 1951 classic sci-fi film about an alien visitor and his giant robot counterpart who visit Earth.

The actress was the surprise face of the Fall 2008 Balenciaga campaign, but she carried off the quirky designs with both style and grace.

Her interview was all about things she loves, and here are some extracts:

On her home life: “I became a mom before I became a wife. When I had kids, I felt I had a home like I’d never experienced before.”

On Pink Lady apples: “Three a day. I eat so many apples, it’s stupid.”

On speaking Italian: “It’s so much fun. It’s such a crisp and bright-sounding language.”

On Vodka: “Chilled. No ice. Just a tiny bit of orange juice, or with soda and lime.”

On the LBD: “You can just fold it up and throw it in your bag. It always works.”

Olga Kurylenko graces the cover of the November 2008 edition of Elle Russia

Her story is that ten years ago, the girl from the Ukrainian city of Berdyansk, went to Paris to work model. Now the actress is a Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On the fact that she has not changed since becoming a Bond Girl: “How can I change? Should I behave like something other than what I am, suddenly change the tone? That’s ridiculous! I have never sought fame, so this is my fate. So I just continue to live as I have always lived”.

On wanting to originally become a Doctor: “Mama seriously feared something is wrong with me, because I loved reading medical books. I was not afraid to look at the blood, and internal organs. In fact, it was my favorite reading at night! I thought it was so exciting that you can cure a disease or somehow help. If I had not become an actress, I certainly would be a Doctor.”

On the modern Bond Girl: “Bond Girls have become more empowered and independent.”

On her personal style: “I like to wear jeans, T-shirts. I only wear heels to parties.

On her favourite food: “I love Japanese food.”

On her her favourite city: “I lived in Paris for ten years, where I did well, but this city I did not have enough energy. People can drink coffee for five hours, which is crazy to me. The energy of London, is wonderful. The US has a willingness of people to work hard, and achieve something. But when I am in America, I really missed Europe, with its soul, its architecture. In this sense, London is universal, with it’s energy and soul.”
