Katie Chang In Miss Wu – ‘The Bling Ring’ Seattle Film Festival Closing Night Gala Premiere

Katie Chang In Miss Wu - 'The Bling Ring' Seattle Film Festival Closing Night Gala Premiere

The stars from Sofia Coppola’s, ‘The Bling Ring’ have not set a foot wrong since they came to our attention last month during Cannes Film Festival.

They have hit the promo trail as a group, however, at the Seattle Film Festival closing night gala on Monday evening the duties fell to young Katie Chang.

So far she has been adorable in Jill Stuart, sophisticated in Dior, on this occasion she turned to the Jason Wu, selecting a look from his Miss Wu Fall 2013 collection.

The pretty bright pink girlie frock with black trims including a black lace hemline was styled with black Coach ‘Dani’ platform heels and a simple side-swept ponytail.

Menswear Monday Night Round Up

Menswear Monday Night Round Up

We haven’t seen many guys on the red carpet over the last two weeks; however, they were out in full force for the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards in LA, the ‘Man of Steel’ world premiere in New York and the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London on Monday night.

Zachary Levi: The actor showed love again for the British retailer Reiss, who decked the handsome actor out for the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere in a grey three-piece suit which fit to perfection. Opting to go sans tie, the actor styled his look with a white shirt and black derbies.

Zachary Quinto: The other well-dressed Zachary attended the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards wearing a slightly creased Todd Snyder maroon suit with a printed shirt; he also opted to go sans tie, completing his look with brown wingtip shoes.

Dan Stevens: The actor formerly known as cousin Matthew attended the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London yesterday evening. He donned a very sleek and shiny grey suit with a black trimmed shawl collar, which he styled with a black satin tie, white shirt and black shoes. Even though he has rubbed many up the wrong way with his glossy Hollywood makeover, I will say he has never looked better.

Michael Shannon In Jil Sander – ‘Man of Steel’ World Premiere

Michael Shannon In Jil Sander - 'Man of Steel' World Premiere

Michael Shannon joined his co-stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘Man of Steel’ held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday evening.

The steely-blue-eyed actor, who plays General Zod, looked very dapper wearing a Jil Sander dark-grey-green suit.

He styled his suit with a white Eton of Sweden shirt, adding a touch of colour with a moss-green Alexander Olch tie, and completing his look with classic black Cole Haan wingtip shoes with a twist, featuring a white sole.

Is it me, or could Michael Shannon pass as Richard Kiel’s son; the actor who played Jaws in the James Bond films ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ and ‘Moonraker’?

Henry Cavill In Tom Ford - ‘Man of Steel’ World Premiere

Henry Cavill joined his co-star Amy Adams on the red carpet at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday evening for the ‘Man Of Steel’ world premiere.

Looking very handsome and debonair wearing a Tom Ford slate-grey two-button suit, the actor styled it with a white dress shirt, white pocket square and black tie.

The only thing I would possibly change about this look is the tie; it feels a tad too wide. However, the actor does possess a relatively wide torso so the tie does balance out the look I guess.

Amy Adams In Nina Ricci - 'Man of Steel' New York Premiere

After a string of TV appearances, Amy Adams finally hit the red carpet for the ‘Man of Steel’ world premiere, which was held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday evening.

As you know, I tend to fall into a deep slumber when a black gown hits the red carpet, but that was not the case on this occasion, as Amy totally swept me off my feet wearing this Nina Ricci Fall 2013 number.

The styling of her black strapless radzimir gown was impeccable, as she added a red satin Christian Louboutin ‘Aida’ clutch and dazzling Tiffany and Co. jewels.

With screen-siren waves and a hot-red lip colour, I ask you, what’s not to love?

Mia Wasikowska In Miu Miu – ‘Stoker’ Sydney Premiere

Mia Wasikowska In Miu Miu - 'Stoker; Sydney Premiere

Mia Wasikowska was back home in Australia to attend the premiere of her latest movie, ‘Stoker’, during the 2013 Sydney Film Festival, held at the State Theatre in Sydney on Friday.

The actress opted for a simple look, wearing a black Miu Miu dress with an embellished collar and nipped in waist.

While I don’t find the dress particularly exciting, it is a very cute look for Mia; my main issue is the tights, which are then styled with black pumps.

The overall look is too moody and heavy. Just removing the tights would’ve lifted this look.

Menswear Midweek Round Up

Menswear Round up 5 June 2013

While the girls have been keeping up appearances at this week’s stylish soirees—from the CFDA Fashion Awards to Glamour Women of the Year Awards—a group of guys have also been holding their own on the red carpet.

Seth Rogen: This funny man wasn’t pulling any jokes with his fashion at the ‘This Is The End’ Los Angeles premiere at Regency Village Theatre on Monday. He stood out in a Calvin Klein light-blue, cotton wool two-button notch lapel suit, white dress shirt and blue striped tie from the Spring 2013 Calvin Klein Collection, designed by Italo Zucchelli. The ombre-effect frames of his glasses were his best accessory.

Israel Broussard: The up-and-coming actor made sure Emma Watson and his other pretty co-stars didn’t get all the attention at ‘The Bling Ring’ Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday at Directors Guild of America. He suited up in a Dior Homme navy wool two-button peak lapel suit, black cotton button-down shirt and black satin tie. The pants seemed a bit bunchy and baggy, but from the waist up, this was sleek enough, even with the quiff and all that hairspray.

Daniel Radcliffe: ‘Man of the Year’ winner at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013 at London’s Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday, the actor dressed to impress in a Prada black, two-button mohair suit, paired with a white popeline shirt, a blue and black printed silk-twill tie and black brushed leather lace-up shoes. It’s hard to argue with this handsome ensemble—especially with that ‘Glamour-ous’ accessory.

Paul Rudd: Joining Seth at the ‘This Is The End’ Los Angeles premiere, Paul put on an Ermenegildo Zegna navy suit. Going for a relaxed, cool-kid look, he skipped the tie, unbuttoned his collar, and let his hair down.
