‘Third Person’ LA Premiere

'Third Person' LA Premiere

A trio of actresses took to the red carpet to support the Los Angeles premiere of their film, ‘Third Person,’ which was held on Monday (June 9) at the Linwood Dunn Theater Pickford Center for Motion Study in Hollywood, California.

Mila Kunis: Masking her burgeoning baby bump in a loose, flowing silhouette, Mila wore a simple black satin mini-frock with leg-lengthening nude pumps and an emerald strand necklace for a tiny hint of colour.

Maria Bello: The actress wore a Kaufmanfranco sand-hued, plunge dress with a draped full skirt, paired with Vhernier jewels and metallic-taupe wedge sandals.

Moran Atias: The most memorable of the three, Moran dressed up more than her co-stars in a Vionnet Grecian-style draped gown in a light lemon chiffon shade that was beautiful with her dark locks. She likewise complemented her look with a selection of Vhernier jewels, also donning Jimmy Choo heels that went undetected under the floor-scraping dress.

'Think Like A Man Too' LA Premiere 2

Four more stars made a bold splash, alongside Meagan Good, at the premiere of ‘Think Like A Man Too,’ hosted at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (June 9) in Hollywood, California.

Keke Palmer: Keke couldn’t be missed in her traffic-stopping, neon-yellow Cushnie et Ochs dress, boasting the label’s signature sharp cutouts. Her styling was just as bright, with a matching yellow manicure, a fuchsia lip, gold Christian Louboutin heels, a glittery clutch and XIV Karat Jewelry.

Gabrielle Union: Lovely in black lace, the actress balanced sophistication with sultriness in her Dolce & Gabbana cropped top and high-waist pencil skirt worn with ankle-strap sandals. A matte red lip finished her trendy-elegant outing.

La La Anthony: Well, there was certainly no missing La La, who ignored the cleavage or legs rule, opting to give us an eyeful of both in her Alexander McQueen embellished halter gown paired with similarly embellished cage sandals. Jacob & Co jewels, included a winged ear cuff, accented the look. I’m still trying to determine if the waist-high dual slits or the gaping keyhole is the worse offender here.

Taraji P. Henson: Also working a plunge that was perhaps a fraction too deep, the actress dressed in a Kayat Fall 2013 patterned red, front-slit gown. She accessorized with a quilted silver clutch, a lavender-purple lip and eye, and voluminous waves.

Meagan Good In Michael Costello - 'Think Like A Man Too' LA Premiere

Meagan Good attended the premiere of ‘Think Like A Man Too’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (June 9) in Hollywood, California.

Seeming not to care that the sheer trend has been done to death, the actress donned a white Michael Costello halter keyhole gown styled with silver accessories including Charlotte Olympia sandals, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

Working an extreme-ombre shorter hairstyle, she was glowing, opting for neutral makeup.

For a major movie premiere you have to go big, right? So how does this voluminous gown fare for you?

Menswear Weekend Roundup

Menswear Weekend Roundup

The past few days were packed with a range of menswear looks, heavy on the formal tux angle with a few more colourful options thrown in for good measure. Here, a look at the weekend’s handsome set of guys.

Zachary Quinto: A presenter at the 68th annual Tony Awards, the actor dressed for the occasion in a Thom Sweeney three-piece, black wool tuxedo, paired with a white cotton dress shirt and black silk bow tie. David Yurman black onyx shirt studs pulled the look together with an added note of polish.

Djimon Hounsou: Bringing a breath of fresh blue to the red carpet of the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ Los Angeles premiere, Djimon wore his beautifully hued Calvin Klein Collections suit with equally well-styled accessories, including an incredible pair of navy Christian Louboutin loafers, Martin Katz cufflinks, and a Montblanc timepiece.

Daniel Radcliffe
: In attendance at the Tony Awards supporting his play, ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan,’ Daniel was dapper in an Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure one-button, satin peak-lapel tuxedo in midnight navy—a great departure from the traditional black colour. A matching bow tie, white dress shirt, and KG Kurt Geiger ‘Anton’ shoes finished the look.

Tia Mowry In Elena Reva – ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ LA Premiere

Tia Mowry In Elena Reva - ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2? LA Premiere

Tia Mowry attended the premiere of ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ at Regency Village Theatre on Sunday (June 8) in Westwood, California, joining America Ferrera.

Encapsulating a minimal look to a tee, her elegant Elena Reva jumpsuit is tailored with a boned bodice ensuring a sharp profile.

While this isn’t one of the more colourful outings by the actress – who usually showcases her love for prints on the red carpet – I do love this sleek look, the change of pace, and her decision to keep it simple by pairing the look with nude sandals.

Following the LA premiere for ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ with American Ferrera on Sunday evening, Cate Blanchett took up the Australian leg of the tour earlier today (June 9), attending the Sydney premiere held at Event Cinemas George Street.

The Australian actress kept up the colourful embellished bodice trend she started at the Cannes Film Festival premiere, this time donning a Chanel Resort 2015 flared-sleeve black frock.

Her dress, which also features buttoned detailing going down both sides of the skirt, was styled with simple black pumps and little else in the way of jewels or a clutch.

She just let the dress and that heart-warming smile do all the work.

We weren’t too enamoured with her previous Givenchy gown, so how does this look fare?

America Ferrera attended the premiere of ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ held at the Village Theatre on Sunday (June 8) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress opted to play it wild, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana animal-print short-sleeved gown styled with a pearlized Edie Parker clutch with a gold ‘A’ motif.

After a succession of fitted frocks, this is a refreshing change; it is glam enough for a premiere, while also playfully staying in tune with the animated feature.

The director joined the star of the movie Gugu Mbatha-Raw wearing a Jacques Azagury Spring 2014 dress.

Cream pumps, a selection of silver jewels and wavy tresses completed her gorgeous look.
